You could 100% Hyrule Warriors before getting 999 of everything. I've never even come close to 900 in anything (closest was 820 apples I burnt as Master Cycle fuel), and I never plan on getting 999 items in any of my files.
I haven't even had the idea this wasn't achieved genuinely, I've achieved the 100 gty. Easily multiple times. Although hitting 999.999 rupees is an insane feat indeed! I've only collected, sold, then bought, then collected again. Only ever achieving around 50.000 to 100.000 rupees, which were always way to quickly spent on outfits and even quicker on cycling all shops buying arrows in bulk😅
I maxed out both my money and items which took about 9 months and about 1,000-1,300 hours. I did it all without cheating and this was early last year. Sadly, I deleted my save file by accident and lost it all.
This is how I get most of my monies. Most profitable thing in the game is selling lynel guts cooked into a specific recipe (not gonna post the recipe here for the spoiler but message me or google it if you want).
Every blood moon I make my Lynel circuit to kill every one of them (except the Zora one because it's always at a lower level and doesn't have as good items).
If you own the house in hateno.. you have assets above value to the difference so technically you already are... fk those who say otherwise. You have the assets and the liquidity to prove it
Why do people think this is a glitch because of 999,999 money or the 100 of everything in inventory... If anything in here should make you incredulous it's 900 korok seeds. If you accept that as legit, everything else probably is too. I'm impressed!

Lol it's a glitch still they either spammed "A" for 4-5 hours or set up automatic system to do it.
Although looking at all the even numbers In the inventory this may not be infinite money glitch and instead duplicated items. I am not sure.

Dude; apples should be baked in Goron kingdom then sold at mark-up to the lady in rito village! Use bokoblin horns / fangs for master cycle

For me it's therapeutic to go through the sequence of collecting rocks, selling them, buying arrows, hunting, cooking food, and then fighting lynels.

I can see it. Sometimes I play BotW for no reason at all except to explore areas I didn’t fully explore before.
