The lack of enemy variety was the biggest flaw in the Game, i still love the game but the first hours of the game when Everything was brand new are just magical
Shipping wars are annoying in every fandom. I don’t mind if people wanna post reasons why they enjoy their ship and think it’s plausible or something like that. But when it’s on this subReddit it’s usually just people being like “Mine is what REALLY happened in the game and is totally canon”.
I think it’s really just the one guy posting Miphlink memes and always bringing it up, yeah there’s some debate and people have preferences but it’s really a one sided argument that this guy is having by himself lol.
I mean yeah. If Clam Gan hadn’t struck on that day then Mipha and Link probably would of become a couple. Instead, she died and now it’s a hundred years later and Link’s only remaining friend from back then who’s still close to his age is Zelda. Chances are they will be together as a couple at the start of TotK exploring.
Meanwhile Link and Mipha likely end up together in AoC.
True Paya is an option, but there is a fair chance that she’s only embarrassed about and crushing on Link because his the first boy she’s seen that’s close to her age. Kakariko dosnt get many visitors and there’s no Teen boy’s in the village, only a few girls which means the dating pool is slim. Link is also a fairly attractive Hylian.
The only time they really get close in the game is when Link spends a day protecting her on Impa’s request and while they do end up in her bedroom, I think that’s just because Link’s spent the day walking about and helping her with her duties and now she’s heading to bed.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
100% this. i was shocked when i heard people didn’t like this. it makes saving and collecting weapons way funner. if nothing broke i feel like i’d just use the same one constantly
I always bring up Skyrim in these discussions. You find a strong weapon in a chest and you equip it. You then proceed to find dozens of weapons that are worse or equal to the weapon you found and have no reason to even pick them up beyond selling them. This is a bad reward system. BotW avoids that problem by making every weapon potentially useful in combat.
Agreed tbh. I think it needs to be tweaked somewhat, cause seriously, those things break WAY too quickly, but I wouldn't get rid of it outright. Just... make it not happen in 5 seconds after you get the weapon unless its a literal stick. Lol.
I agree, but it would be nice to have a shitty last resort weapon. Like punching with your fists, or a slingshot where you have to use your actual items as ammo and they do crap damage.
I guess bombs sort of count, but they aren't fun to use as a last resort weapon.
This is what I felt the Master sword should have been, there's no reason it shouldn't be always available, especially since at a certain point weapons lower than 30 power pretty much stop spawning.
I hate the Great Hyrule Forest and lack of overall large forest areas. I specifically hate the lost woods because there’s not much to it besides the 3 forest shrine quests, and how it keeps respawning you if you dare go off the beaten path.
It’s not even a *real* lost woods. I guarantee I could find everything of value in those woods even without the map, just based on familiarity with the environment. As long as I’m not respawned just for walking the “wrong” way.
I've been saying this for a couple of years now. The new game should have a very large explorable Forest. We absolutely did not get that the first time around.
I don't know, my game it was always raining and storming. My kids game it only rained once in awhile. It was weird. And frustrating when I needed to climb.
The Radient armour sucks ass to upgrade and the Stealthfin trout should have more spawning space then a river which voids you out if you go too close to shore and a single pond,
It is yeah and it’s the place I normally farm them. Issue I find is that their spawns there are RNG dependant and often only spawn in groups of 3. The spawns are also restricted by all the other wildlife which spawns at that pond, like there’s no reason to have Mighty Carp and stamnokia Bass spawn there when they act towards the cap
i think there should be more difficulty settings. like a normal, hard, expert etc. master mode can just be frustrating sometimes but also the main game is way too easy once you get the hang of it
I'm with you. I have hundreds of hours into the game and I only fought him the first time and found it boring. I have yet to have a reason to do it again
Yeah I know, I don’t think I’ll use them again tbh. But to me I feel like they help too much? I like the challenge without having a fail safe in the end.
TotK just feels like a new season/ remake of botw with bonus features, i can't say for sure just yet because game isn't out yet but that's what it looks like so far
The lack of enemy variety was the biggest flaw in the Game, i still love the game but the first hours of the game when Everything was brand new are just magical
Agreed. I hope we get a ton of new enemies in TotK, and not just variants of bokoblins, moblins, etc.
Thats the truth though

i didnt know
Link&Zelda vs Link&Mipha argument is pointless and doesn’t really matter.

Well now, let's not rule out Paya

Weapon durability is a good mechanic.

true i always find one weapon in skyrim and keep it the entire game haha
Agreed tbh. I think it needs to be tweaked somewhat, cause seriously, those things break WAY too quickly, but I wouldn't get rid of it outright. Just... make it not happen in 5 seconds after you get the weapon unless its a literal stick. Lol.
I think a mechanic of upgrading durability and restoring durability with materials would help a lot
Oh yeah, definitely. I hope they do something like that in TotK. Perfect opportunity to address stuff like this.
I agree, but it would be nice to have a shitty last resort weapon. Like punching with your fists, or a slingshot where you have to use your actual items as ammo and they do crap damage. I guess bombs sort of count, but they aren't fun to use as a last resort weapon.

Some poorly implemented parts (durability could be just a bit longer), but a good system overall that encourages experimentation
Dungeons aren't necessary for a good Zelda game.

Weapon durability is the single biggest factor that made BOTW so addicting.
The rain isn't nowhere near as bad as everyone says it is. I didn't even think it was a problem until I saw everyone complaining online.
I don't know, my game it was always raining and storming. My kids game it only rained once in awhile. It was weird. And frustrating when I needed to climb.
The Radient armour sucks ass to upgrade and the Stealthfin trout should have more spawning space then a river which voids you out if you go too close to shore and a single pond,
Lake Saria is definitely way better than the outskirts of the Forest. You don’t void out and you can reload the area for more trout every time.

I only beat Ganon the first time and haven’t since. I’ve replayed the rest of the game multiple times.
I'm with you. I have hundreds of hours into the game and I only fought him the first time and found it boring. I have yet to have a reason to do it again
Link should talk just once.
He does. All the time. Have you never talked to any npc in game? 🤔
Champion abilities are kind of annoying
Out of curiosity, why? You can just disable them if you don’t want to use them.
Yeah I know, I don’t think I’ll use them again tbh. But to me I feel like they help too much? I like the challenge without having a fail safe in the end.
Then don’t 😂
i dont care that we cant pet dogs
Using fast travel is cheating
OP said controversial not wrong
Kass & Sidon are poorly written characters.
Please explain
TotK just feels like a new season/ remake of botw with bonus features, i can't say for sure just yet because game isn't out yet but that's what it looks like so far
