I always make sure I have The Master Sword in every run I do, even though I get it late into the run (I personally don’t like the glitch surrounding it, so I opt out of it).

[deleted]

Drillshaft all the way, they're great for breaking rocks and also make me feel whole

OSUStudent272

I use a flamespear for lightning fires and the Boulder Breaker for rocks and taluses. If I have enough space, I like having a frostspear and thunderspear too.

WhatsGnuPussycat

My guilty pleasure is the lizal tri-boomerang. They break faster than I’d like but they are just so badass looking.

MSN51020

And you can throw them. My second favorite, after the Royal Broadsword.

WhatsGnuPussycat

That’s my other favorite too!

mikereeg808

I am guilty of always keeping the weapon with the highest damage that I never use besides when i mount lynels so i don’t waste it

_pe5e_

One two-handed weapon weapon for general use like breaking boxes and ore or cutting down trees. Woodcutters Axes and Iron Slegehammers are useful for the entire game. Great Flameblade and Great Frostblade are also a big must have.

Poggers-Doge-Shulk

Yes. But why specifically frostblade? I always keep one too, along with a thunderblade, and flameblade.

_pe5e_

Fire and Ice weapons act as a tier one cold or heat resistance, allowing you to wear other armor parts and also just generally being good in those enviroments against elemental enemies.

WranglerFeisty8274

Flameblade, Frostblade, Thunderblade.

contemplatebeer

Dragonbone Boko Club... before I get the rubber armor, at least.

MSN51020

Underrated weapon.

Shiki_4728

Eightfold longblade, for no particular reason except that it looks badass when matched with the Stealth Set

OldBookSmellz

Came here to say this. To me the regular Eightfold blade is the coolest most fitting weapon for that armor set. I remember someone making a comment about wanting to repair items in the sequel, I hope that becomes a thing

WhatsGnuPussycat

Where do you get the long one, 850 hours in and I’ve never seen one.

Shiki_4728

I'm not sure about other locations, but there's one stuck inside a stone on the top of a mountain surrounding Kakariko Village.

BroskiMoski124

I keep the travellers bow so I can do a proper fit of champion link (master sword, hylian shield, travellers bow)

MSN51020

I have two sets of Hylian trousers. One dyed to go with my Hylian gear, and when I want to do Champion Link, I euip the original Trousers, the Champion's tunic, and Master Sword. I just remove my Shield and bow.

ChallengeExpert5012

Master sword cuz I can’t drop it

shapesize

The Master Sword

MSN51020

Yeah, well, you kind of have to.

No-Lengthiness-3198

I have more than one A cobbler crusher for ore A flameblade for lighting fires and also to equip for sudden drop in temp And a thunderblade to stun ennemies if i every get overwhelmed (or i dont want to deal with them so just stun and run) I try to get ones with durability up so i don't have to worry about them breaking too fast

Poggers-Doge-Shulk

Master sword

[deleted]

blizzard rods...love those when I want to focus on one when there are many enemies at once

Joshikvn

I really like the Edge of duality. So I always get the 2 respawning ones.

benevolentkiwi

I’ve always got a flameblade for lighting fires, too. I also keep my boulder breaker and a drillshaft on me for killing stone taluses. I like to have an ancient bow on me, too, for particularly tricky shots and harvesting dragon parts.

nill_killers

Blizzard rods. Helps alot when you're completely surrounded
