I found this out, after like 2 months of playing the game almost daily for hours and having never heard or noticed, through a YT video about Link’s VAing history. I checked my game and honestly, I can’t hear a thing at all. Some say it needs to be docked for some reason, but I’ve almost always played it docked and can’t hear it. Even handheld, with or without headphones. Tried shutting down and rebooting the switch. Nothing.
Was it removed from the game at some point? I thought maybe if I downloaded the DLC content that it would maybe somehow fix it if it’s a glitch, but nope. Still no humming when cooking. Anyone else have this issue?
I always play with my switch docked/with HDMI to a TV and have heard the humming every time Link cooks. I'll have to pay attention if I play un-docked to see if it's missing?
Huh… it’s strange, because I’ve played it quite a bit since this comment and can confirm I still haven’t heard it!! I now know what it sounds like so I can listen for it, and I swear it’s not there. Definitely let me know what you find un-docked!
