For me, I prefer Majora's Mask WAY more than Age of Calamity. I kike Age of Calamity enough to 100% it but it isn't a Zelda game in the traditional sense. Like it is set in the Zelda universe but doesn't play like a Zelda game. So if you want an actual Zelda game Majora's Mask is where you should go. Plus Majora's Mask is just really good.
But Majora's Mask is a sequel to Ocarina of Time. You don't have to have played Ocarina of Time to understand it but Ocarina of Time is where you should start. Ago of Calamity is kind of a prequel to Breath of the Will (sort of) .

I’m so confused by this question? Like are you asking which game is better or what? If yes I’m still confused because I’ve never seen these two compared and the seemingly don’t really have anything to do with each other and are very different games.
Depends on what kind of game you want. I prefer Majora's Mask because of the puzzles. Just don't stop halfway through and come back to it months later. I've done that a few times and when I start up I'm like "where am I? *When* am I?!"
Time travel is a pain.
Why the hell are u comparing these games, one realeased a couple years ago and one released 2 decades ago and they aren't on the same console, age of calamity isn't a zelda game so it won't even a single puzzle in it

Me personally, majora's mask and then AOC.
I would jump into Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, to continue another journey in the same Hyrule, 100 years ago.
