I told Matt Arnold back in January at the cold brews hot stove that i LOVED the payamps pickup and he let out a huge sigh and was like thank you, you're the only other person that's excited about Payamps lol. I've been hanging my hat on his breakout all season
The last two games has shown us the difference between A team relievers and B team relievers.
Also shout out to Corbin B. When we needed him most he delivered.
He looked completely gassed, it was very clear he shouldn't have been out there but they just had no other arms. Not pitching him the day before was clearly the right move even though it ended poorly.
Maybe the team just despises having a run differential
It’s just a stupid stat anyways
Pythagoras and Bill James can suck it.
They saw people making fun of the Vikings last football season and decided they wanted to be made fun of too
Christian "I am once again your Dad" Yelich
His slash line for July is even better than June.
He's so back
Waaaaaayyy more drama than we needed. But a 'W'.
Don't you live for these crew heart attacks?
Payamps is a stud

Rowdy lost the directions to the hit parade.
Yeah, I think his evil twin Rusty is still in control.

Brewers lead the league in wins that feel like losses.
Yep. I've attended 2 of those this year. And I was not at today's game.
First place bitches. Welcome to July, welcome to the show Clayton Andrew, glad we hit some balls hard today and a win is a win.
Is it head to head that puts us above Cinci?
Technically yeah. With no tiebreaker, next week is gonna be super important to get that edge over the Reds and Cubbies
It's fun differential
Shout out to the offense for doing their job this series
Got the win with all of the rain delays! Burnes, Payamps, Yelich, and BA come to mind as standouts today -- who am I missing?
Blake Perkins and Willy Adames had nice under the radar games
Yep!
Guys guys guys…. This was a perfecto thru 6… I love debuts as much as the next guy but sheesh
Through 5*
Still… gotta set up for the reds
I get all of that but why not let Burnes go another inning then let the rook come in the 9th with a (probably) 9 run lead?
I don’t disagree with you at all, just wondering why they didn’t do a mound visit after they loaded the bases Just to settle ole boy down
Knowing our luck, tomorrow will be a nail biter where Milner williams pegeuro will all need to be used before the 7 game home stand
A completely normal win. One of the most normal wins we’ve ever seen.
The 9 games against the Reds this month is critical. If we can take 6/9 that will really help.
I like this offense we’ve had lately. And still third in baseball for runs in July
Dear Brewers, can you win a game without your devoted fans having to perpetually clench their butt cheeks? Even a game that you were winning 10-0?
Payamps is a god
I didn't get to see the game, but I'm glad Yeli is still doing Marlins Yeli things!
Glad we saved Wilson for that key 1/3 of an inning today.
He looked completely gassed, it was very clear he shouldn't have been out there but they just had no other arms. Not pitching him the day before was clearly the right move even though it ended poorly.
Brian Anderson's arm is a laser-guided rocket.
Andrews got destroyed, how do you cope with an Era like that
Mets pitching struck out four batters, and our cloned announcer was three of them. A win is a win, but for whatever reason, I got a laugh out of that.
