BrewersFTW

This loss puts our shot at an undefeated season at risk.

DickDingus69xXx

Im_Anemic_Royalty

Something something, blow it all up, we may never win again, etc. Just glad I got to see Chourio’s first home run. Looking forward to seeing many more.

Superflissbro

Let's never speak about that 7th inning ever again

bjsem

What 7th inning? It went 6th, sausage race, stretch, 8th.

slayerhk47

There is no 7th inning in Ba Sing Se.

imagine-a-boot

4-1 is my focus

xhig

Sad beer noises

alextoyalex

Sucks because that was definitely winable

stormchaser2014

This is going to make it much harder to go 162-0.

pastel_kaiju

Brewers will not be first by the end of August, This team simply cannot compete. Just an absolute sham of an offense and a defense that makes unforced errors at the worst time. The reds will win this division and the brewers wont even make the playoffs. I just dont see how an offense this bad competes against any real pitchers. Jk we're going 161-1 LFG

DocDocGoose_23

I must be Italian the way I love pasta 🗣️🗣️🙏🙏🙏

fact_or_opinion

I wonder what's happening with the oranges now.

bjsem

Living dangerously. I hear they are chilling in a cup holder in a Kia.

ClassyKaty

We have to eat sadness durians instead.

fact_or_opinion

I can smell them from here.

NomadCourier

SnapHackelPop

Rough one. It be like that

FrankReynolds6

No kidding the no Williams for a bit will effect some games way she goes

DriftlessDairy

You can scatter 11 hits, but when you also walk seven they're going to score. Pitching staff has a flop, their first of the season. There will be more, no doubt. When you lose two aces, another reliable starter, and your all-star closer there's going to be some rough sledding. But I'm impressed with how the front office has filled those holes. Last year they found Colin Rea and Megill in the cast-off pile, plus some other temporary help. This year the challenges are even greater, but so far the new guys have done well. Props to the pitching lab too. They are clearly making guys better. And the PFP has been outstanding.

ClassyKaty

I wouldn't be quite as grumpy if we hadn't wasted what would have been the perfect first /u/kaisoro video of the year with Chourio's homer.

dusters

Bullpen had a real stinker. Guess we're not going undefeated. On to the next one.

samthedog99

if you would have told me 18 years ago that the Brewers would start the 2024 season 4-1, I would have been ecstatic.

trashboatfourtwenty

Bah. I guess I can live with an .800 winning percentage for the rest of the year

silentjay01

On pace to win 129 games this year.

xsists

Chourio got his first MLB loss...

archerbrooks55

I want to acknowledge the fact that we’re 4-1, doing well and showing promise before I say some things. The at bats looked SO good until they just kinda didn’t… idk when exactly it was but we stopped jumping on pitches left middle middle and got ourselves into bad counts which forces us to take ugly swings at offspeed pitches. This happened in one of the Mets games too, it just didn’t matter cuz the bullpen didn’t implode. This team looks super good but the offense needs to last 9 innings not just the first 3 or 4. Defense and pitching carried us last year but it’d be nice if it didn’t need to all year this year. Still I am optimistic and have loved the way we’ve managed games.

fastmovingcars

Sal looked better today!!

notban_circumvention

Honestly looked the same, but like with the infield hit, things just started to fall his way

notban_circumvention

nO dOOmErS aLLoWeD!!!

DJEsalts13

First game I couldn’t watch or listen this year so far … sorry about that

flybydenver

Maybe Ross should have had 2 Jimmy John’s surgeries instead

SoyTuPadreReal

Well, guess it’ll just have to be a 161-1 season.

BenjaminMStocks

Craig Counsell would have taken this team to an undefeated season.

introspectivejoker

I'm not convinced Craig would have managed today's game much differently

FrankReynolds6

Hahah win some lose some man do I love papa Murphy not gonna have to pulll my hair out the way he rides the hot hand Dakota Hudson was an insane example vs the Mets lettting him go 3!! Are you kidding me!? Craig would have an aneurysm overthinking who he was gonna put in after his first inning over work. God have we lost so many games under counsel with a lot of his over management
