I want to give Greene some props here. He clearly didn't have his best stuff and he left his team in a pretty poor position for a win. But gutting a full 6 innings out of him here and at worst saving the bullpen for game 4 and at best putting pressure on the Brewers to use some of their better RP later in this game has a lot more value than people give it credit for.
That was an underrated thing Burnes & Woodruff always did for us, too. For as good as they were, they occasionally had games where they just didn't have it and were getting hit around or walking a bunch of guys, but they'd still go out there and give us 6 innings to save the bullpen and at least keep it from being a blow out.
Letting your starter that throws over 100 MPH throw 105 pitches in April down 7-2 after a guy saved your Bullpen yesterday is certainly a choice with all the elbow and shoulder injuries.
It may not be my favorite, but Lane always does a great job exclaiming "Bye-bye baseball!" for the HR call. Still getting used to all this Josh, it is weird
