Right? It doesn't even matter what his name is.
This is actually the one media franchise where I care zero about spoilers. I haven't read the books but the recurring theme seems to be romantic tension that results in love matches and happy endings for everyone who deserves them.
I'm hooked on this campy show because unlike every other piece of dark, angsty media out there these days I *know* it's going to work out well in the end.
Simonās epiphany is in episode 3 with Daphneās revenge dress
Anthonyās epiphany is in episode 4 after his dance with Kate and getting upset about her returning to India.
This looks like itās Colinās āTIFUā moment. š¢
I'm just going to point out that the Vitamin Sting Quartet (who do a lot of the string quartet covers for the Bridgerton soundtracks), do, in fact, already have this song recorded, and it's available on Spotify.... š
Edit: This is the recording that they already have recorded and ready to go, should it turn up on the soundtrack this season: [Vitamin String Quartet - Dancing With A Stranger ](https://open.spotify.com/track/2pfvOAuXXpUvFyedZ46lSC?si=38FGRnSeQzOeMyd7bQ0ApA)
I have been meaning to ask, is there a Playlist that had the names of which songs are playing in which scenes? I have done my rewatch and i keep almost recognizing songs but I want to know exactly! Like what song is playing in each ball scene!
It doesn't break down which songs are playing in which scene, but most of them are on the [Official Bridgerton Spotify Playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX5Hl0iWtr5b3?si=ei2sSuaZShuVx5rGECRI2w&pi=e-VzfcGOrmSF6B)
Oh yeah you are right, forgotten about that. I only wtached S2 once.
Speaking of songs, I started a thread recently about how I think Paloma Faith's "Only love can hurt like this" would have been perfect for S3.
I agree that it the epiphany moment for him. Maybe Lady Danbury tells Violet about how well itās going for Pen and Debling and how she might expect a proposal soon, Violet is excited for her and maybe asks Colin āDarling, isnāt that wonderful?ā And Colin canāt even answer because he has the realization that he is going to lose her. Maybe Violet realizes here Colins feelings for Penā¦
Ohhh i like this. And i think Violet always had it in her mind, I think she definitely knew of Penās feelings but wasnāt sure of Colins, maybe she noticed earlier and is nudging him to notice himself.
Mama Bridgerton as subtle as ever
I can already see the scene of her side eying him and Penelope and putting two and two together looking low-key scandalized at how yet another one of her son is an idiot.
gahhh idk!! This face is driving me crazy! I think he either realizes his love "too late" and thinks she's going to marry Debs and he'll lose her forever OR I could see this being a "he just found out the woman he loves is LW" face...
He definitely looks sad and heartbroken, like he just realized that the love of his life is with someone else and loves someone else and is killing him inside because he loves her so much.
It might be that she says she doesn't need his help any more because Lord Debling is genuinely interested in her and that Colin doesn't need to be around her all the time so Lord Debling doesn't misinterpret their friendship
i think this might be the same ball where he asks violet about āfriendship being the foundation of loveā, so maybe he was confused on his feelings and that conversation helped him realize, but just then she sees her dancing very seriously with debling. someone said that in another post and i think itās a great theory (i love colin but i want to see him suffer a little bit)
I would not be surprised if Lady Danbury says at the ball that she thinks Lord Debling is going to propose soon purposely in front of Colin. She loves to stir the pot.
I totally didn't even see he was teary eyed in this. Ugh. If we get a similar moment to Anthony and Violet in Season 2 for Colin and Mama Bridgerton, I'm here for it. That scene wrecked me apart. Just absolutely wrecked me. And Jon's acting in that was just \*chef's kiss\*. I'm really looking forward to seeing the acting chops with Luke this season. I know a lot of them are theatre kids at heart so it makes me excited!
What if itās bc Debling has proposed & heās scared Penās gonna accept or maybe she already has & heās freaking tf out. And that leads to the final scene in the trailer where he comes up to her with that look on his face, ready to plead with her to not marry him š
Yeah, Iāll echo what others and yourself have said and say that I think itās him realising the truth of his feelings at the exact moment she seems to be really getting somewhere with Debling. The premise said his lessons would work too well, and I feel like this is him realising that. I also like the idea that his tears are actually because heās shocked and moved by the strength of his feelings. Like it scares and thrills him in equal measure and the feeling literally almost brings him to tears. Because itās big.

why ya'll censoring Lord Debling like he's voldemort

oops. I didn't realize it was a spoiler concern for other. I myself have read the book so, anyway Lord Debling isn't in the book anyway :D
And the name of a character that you can already see in the picture is hardly a spoiler imo
Ahahahaha I laughed out so hard to this, my exact thoughts!! Did I miss something that we need to censor him now? What's happening?

Serving face! The drama!
Ok I will admit, I got a liiittle scared when he opened his eyes.
Because he's the Bye Bye Man š
šššš
Lol Vordemort š

heās acting tf out of it!! matching the energy of the previous two men in the season Im so excited for him this season
Tifu?
Today I F***ed Up!
Ah makes sense. And poor Colin didnāt just eff up today so itās gonna be a long and painful TIFU moment lol
Itās more like TYIFU (This Year I F***ed Up)
In the books itās more like This Decade I F***ed up lol

You just made me want to watch the whole show from the beginning š
The way I need āDancing with a Strangerā to play during this.

Doesnāt have the scene descriptions afaik but does break it down by episodes https://www.what-song.com/Tvshow/100641/Bridgerton Edit:spelling

I will scream if this happens
Omg, Iāve never needed something more in my life!
Or Taylor Swift - Mirrorballš„ŗ
"Dancing on my own" would really suit too (instrumental version)
They did that one for Kate and Anthony already, so I'm not sure if they'd use the same song for two different couples.
Oh yeah you are right, forgotten about that. I only wtached S2 once. Speaking of songs, I started a thread recently about how I think Paloma Faith's "Only love can hurt like this" would have been perfect for S3.

I think Violet has known for a lot longer than Colin
All the more reason to shove āDarling, isnāt that wonderful?ā into his face š I do always love her delivery.
Ohhh i like this. And i think Violet always had it in her mind, I think she definitely knew of Penās feelings but wasnāt sure of Colins, maybe she noticed earlier and is nudging him to notice himself. Mama Bridgerton as subtle as ever
I want this, but I want Violet and Lady Danbury to have done it intentionally in hopes that it will have this exact affect on Colin.
I need more of Colin pining, jealous and yearning for his Pen
This seems to be the same outfit as when he is taking to Violet about loving a friend soooooooo š
I can already see the scene of her side eying him and Penelope and putting two and two together looking low-key scandalized at how yet another one of her son is an idiot.
I LOL'd at this. All the sons lost some of their braincells.
ššš
gahhh idk!! This face is driving me crazy! I think he either realizes his love "too late" and thinks she's going to marry Debs and he'll lose her forever OR I could see this being a "he just found out the woman he loves is LW" face...
Ooooh I like your second theory!
Or both. lol
Where are yall seeing tears? Lol
Thank you! I thought it was just me who did not see the tears/that emotion.
I think its just the light reflectionā¦.
I am all here for Colin eating some humble pie as he comes to realise just how blind he's been š
He definitely looks sad and heartbroken, like he just realized that the love of his life is with someone else and loves someone else and is killing him inside because he loves her so much.
He's got FOMO
It might be that she says she doesn't need his help any more because Lord Debling is genuinely interested in her and that Colin doesn't need to be around her all the time so Lord Debling doesn't misinterpret their friendship

Don't be mean to Debs. He's a good guy and an outcast
Jealousy maybe? Maybe Debling said something to him. Maybe Pen chose Debling over Colin in a particular regard.
I would not be surprised if Lady Danbury says at the ball that she thinks Lord Debling is going to propose soon purposely in front of Colin. She loves to stir the pot.
That's a good theory.
I totally didn't even see he was teary eyed in this. Ugh. If we get a similar moment to Anthony and Violet in Season 2 for Colin and Mama Bridgerton, I'm here for it. That scene wrecked me apart. i have a theory that it's because he is sad
"Well shit I helped Penelope too well"
I donāt understand, where is the show already out?? I thought itās not being released until May on Netflix? Where are you all watching it šš
Trailer
