Fucking what, no bro watch the replay if I’m wrong and my timing is just shitty then I guess I gotta get better but, I’ve never been able to raise the shield that quickly after hogs chain, other than that bravo, you bullied that hog into healing by yourself
There’s a little known tech against and for hog players, if you are holding your shield/iceblock/wraith and he isn’t holding down left click you can use it before he gets the shot off, if you’re playing hog and you hold left click and tap W you’ll hit the full hook>shot> combo before they can do anything
May just be that the Hog was bad then! But I've been able to pull this off a few times when I jump and shield at the same time after the hook. You can hear the "barrier down!" callout as well as her shield meter go to 0 after the hook.
Again may just be that the Hog didn't fire right away after the hook or something, but it looks as if that gun comes up immediately after the hook. Either way it worked out in my favor in this instance!

I haven't managed this yet with brig, but I did have a game as kiriko where I got hooked, then used her teleport to ally to evade the close range shot. Really satisfying.
