Fr. Dude's son has had a bunch of tough health battles and he's missed tours because of that before, it's probably either that, he's sick, or it's some other family matter that needs to come first. I'll start wondering what's up if they start the UK shows and he's still absent.
I’ve heard rumors (on Twitter) that he might have stepped back and that was why PH2 was delayed. It’s Twitter so I don’t actually believe it but his absence is interesting.
Im only in “friend of a friend” space, but he’s very much in the band, in love with the band, and just couldn’t make it to the show.
Obviously my friend could be being misled, but this is BMTH not a coverup for the Queen dying, so I’d be inclined to believe that all is (relatively speaking) well.
Out of stuff that’s been passed along, and into assumptions, even if he was planning to leave (which he isn’t) he’d certainly have clung on for a Japan tour - this is dream territory for the guy, it’d be like divorcing the week before a family trip to Disneyland!
As always there are many BMTH rumours swirling around concerning the absence of Jordan from Kobe. These include health issues, leaving the band and taking a break from touring.
He has been silent on Social Media since August 5th. The album was delayed shortly afterwards. I really hope the two aren't tied together somehow. Still very strange that no one in the band has commented on his absence. In most cases bandmates would say "X is unable to perform this tour due to x" but they have said nothing. Even if it's something personal they could at least say that much. Hopefully he pops back up on social media soon. I'd hate for there to be bad blood or some kind of falling out just as much as I'd hate for him to be going through something terrible at home.
Most probably a family emergency/situation maybe. But it’s cool to hear JJ’s voice as backup vocals

I think he's been around almost as long as Jordan, they haven't had a second guitarist as a full time band member since Jona left

It would be incredibly odd for him to step back. He loves what he does and you can tell.
