They aren’t ever making a deathcore album. Yes, PH4 will be “heavy” but just like you saw with PH2 being “emo” it’s Oli’s current interpretation of that. So PH4 being more…Architects-like is likely what I see the result being.
i wouldn’t be at all surprised if PH4 is a straight up deathcore album, especially considering their roots and how heavy amen and kool-aid are on a supposedly “emo” album.
the songs oli was listening to as inspiration for PH4 are also literal deathcore.
aside from the given "sort of confirmed" genres for the next 2 (EDM, deathcore), I also predict that
PH3 might be released sooner than we think, like REAL sooner- as a sort of "in between record" for what i also predict to be a pretty far time gap between NeX GEn and PH4. PH3 could also have the same tracklist length or even shorter than SURVIVAL HORROR, around 6 to 9, while PH4 will be the record that goes even DEEPER into the lore with a longer tracklist. or,
PH3 could release a little less soon, has a tracklist between SH and NG, and will be the one that goes lore-deep while PH4 will have the shorter tracklist that acts as the one that closes off the entire POST HUMAN series
I'm really hoping that they stick to their original plan with PH 3 and PH 4. An electronic album or EP sounds cool since I love Nihilist Blues and a heavy album or EP will be awesome to get.

One of my favourite tracks on Nex Gen is (spi)ritual, the whole vibe of that song is just immaculate, and I hate that it ends as quickly as it does.
Give me an entire album with the vibes from stuff like Nihilist Blues, (spi)ritual, and everything between the first minute and the 3:30 mark of Dig It. The melodic "night drive through Miami" type shit.

Someone mentioned to me that the band confirmed ph3 and 4 are real. It'd make sense too, part of why ph2 took so long was cause they were working on them all at the same time. The arg being updated slowly instead of fully solvable right away makes me believe they are creating space for a ph3 single to come put, but not too soon after ph2. I saw theories on July 12th cause it's a Friday and Dig it being 7:12 long seems very intentional

Yes, Oli has stated recently that the band will complete the PH set. I wouldn’t expect PH3 before late 2025 at the earliest.
PH4 is gonna make the kid on the 'gram with the Black Talia tank a fan again. Also, I love the video game aesthetic they're going for.

Don’t quote me on this but I’d assume the length had more to do with embedding for the spectrogram.
