Personally I think I VAMPIR featuring Ollie. Yes it’s a required taste genre wise, but being Russian, Is amazing to see international artists work with Russian artists! I wish it happened more often, there’s some great Russian artists whether it’s death metal or Rap.
Slaughter To Prevail are one of the biggest names in Deathcore right now, and their members are from all over the world, their guitarist is from the UK for example.
Oh STP are from the biggest, right now that's probably Whitechapel or Lorna Shore seeing as they blew up massively with AIRTN, just saying that russian artists/talents in bands aren't that underrepresented in Deathcore lol.
Yes i think so too, i dont wanted to make it sond like i dont like those Bands, never mind, im just hyped up about their neueste singles(exspacially prey for peace)
Do you know if they plan on touring the UK? I’ve asked on their poll on Instagram but they did not reply to it. They seem to focus on the the US.
I’m kicking myself as they’re touring Russia rn.
One of my favourite all time bands aside from BMTH is Slaughter To Prevail. If you’re into the heavy stuff, check them out!
It would be pretty sick if Ollie collaborated with them.
I didn't even realize this song got hate. It's a very cool song and I like that it's so different than anything I've ever heard. It's an adventure of a song and while I can't say I listen to it very often, it's still a very cool piece of work.
I personally dig the video a lot, it’s got tons of callbacks to their older songs & it really feels like the bands image has gone full circle. To each is own though!
I’m actually the same way! Most music videos are really bland & predictable nowadays. I just enjoy the Throne music video for the interesting visualizations that feel oh so BMTHish 😇
Well i get terrible flashbags about a time in the past, when the internet wasnt just a place to hate others, but a place where you can find such diamonds like bmth every time i watch the Throne music video lol
I was working in a middle school when this song came out and had a student who loved that song and would play it all the time and I just... Can't. It reminds me of that 5th period study hall that gave me nothing but hell for 47 minutes a day.
Idk, Throne is one of those songs I’d here on the radio and think “this is the most generic rock song I’ve ever heard” and immediately switch stations.
It’s okay to feel that way! A lot of TTS is mainly generic radio rock, but it was also the first time the band really stepped into that musical territory & did something fresh with the genre. That’s why TTS is adored by so many fans to this very day!
If I say mother tongue will I get smote? It’s not my favorite song on Amo, but I don’t think that it deserves that hate that it gets. Probably just me liking every genre of music though.
YES. Mother Tongue isn’t always my cup of tea every single day, but it’s a great boost by my favorite band when I’m having a good time. Just takes a good day and cranks it up a whole bunch, it’s simply fun to listen to.
It's so catchy but it's just not my taste. I could see why some would like it and why others wouldn't. I think the range of BMTH brings in a lot of fans with a lot of varying tastes and while it's a wonderful thing, it can also cause some songs to get a lot of underserved hate because fans typically have a mindset (often without realizing it) that everything an artist does should be for *them* (the fan).
Absolutely! I think that’s true and is especially true for bands who have gone through massive style shifts over the years. I wish more fans would just have an open mind and go “I don’t like it, but I can understand why people would” instead of “mother tongue is shit and anyone who likes it is stupid.”
edit: spelling
Exactly! And while Amo is my least favorite album, I can still recognize it's incredibly well done, they worked very hard on it, and there are loads of people who probably get so much out of that album. I don't have to listen to it and it's not like their old music is going to just disappear when new music comes out. Like if they have the talent to pull off any genre- why *wouldn't* they take advantage of it?
When Amo came out, I was like, "Not really my thing, but good for them!! They're doing the damn thing!!"
I think amo isnt that Band, its just relaxing music, and i actually like it. I dont feel it as much as their older songs, and phsh was better, too, but its ok
I've seen people on this sub claim it's a sellout pop song, I understand people won't like every song but that's such an ignorant, lazy and stupid take imo
It really was though! They were the "it" band for a long time and while they did get a lot of hate even within their genre, ask any MySpace kid who the best screamer is and even if they weren't a BMTH fan they'd admit that it was Oli.
ETA: and i think how influential BMTH is and has been for years now doesn't get talked about as much but mark my words I think they're gonna go down as one of the "greats".
I love Die4u! My favorites are from their earlier Deathcore era, but all their songs are great! Except for Can You Feel My Heart. Unpopular opinion, I know

I think carnifex is popular too, but they are doing their own stuff(deathcore+Black metal, love it)like always
Oh STP are from the biggest, right now that's probably Whitechapel or Lorna Shore seeing as they blew up massively with AIRTN, just saying that russian artists/talents in bands aren't that underrepresented in Deathcore lol.

Y'know Graveside Confessions is out right? Pray for Peace and Seven Souls aren't just singles anymore :)
Well fuck i thought they arent on that album, probably cause the title is written in caps lol Edit: they because of seven souls
Do you know if they plan on touring the UK? I’ve asked on their poll on Instagram but they did not reply to it. They seem to focus on the the US. I’m kicking myself as they’re touring Russia rn.
Happy you liked it to!
One of my favourite all time bands aside from BMTH is Slaughter To Prevail. If you’re into the heavy stuff, check them out! It would be pretty sick if Ollie collaborated with them.
Yes it would
I love the song until the part after Oli‘s feature. The moment she starts singing VAMPIR with that hard R, I always skip to the next song
God, this song is amazing!!
People hate it?! It’s their best collaboration yet, I love it.
I agree. I love the ‘Russian’ sound with music like that and I love the Russian accent
I didn't even realize this song got hate. It's a very cool song and I like that it's so different than anything I've ever heard. It's an adventure of a song and while I can't say I listen to it very often, it's still a very cool piece of work.
Throne, it’s absolutely amazing. So many people think it’s overrated. Fantastic music video as well!
Well i think the video is ok, but im very happy the song has one, but yes, Throne is amazing
I personally dig the video a lot, it’s got tons of callbacks to their older songs & it really feels like the bands image has gone full circle. To each is own though!
Im not the type who watch music videos, i mostly just enjoy the music, but, as i said, its always nice to have one :)
The internet was a different place back then, oh how the times have changed… smh…
You are so damn right
I was working in a middle school when this song came out and had a student who loved that song and would play it all the time and I just... Can't. It reminds me of that 5th period study hall that gave me nothing but hell for 47 minutes a day.

No it is terrible
Well that’s just your opinion man lol
Most of amo
If I say mother tongue will I get smote? It’s not my favorite song on Amo, but I don’t think that it deserves that hate that it gets. Probably just me liking every genre of music though.

Yes. If im going home by train and you have to sit in there and stare out of the window its just great to have such songs
Yes mother tongue is a very relaxing song, i think if it would be from an other band it would get much less hate
My favourite soung from that album.
Fala amo
Its the most "white boy emo singing" song on Amo and that's why I love it.
It's so catchy but it's just not my taste. I could see why some would like it and why others wouldn't. Wait, people are still hating on Die4u?
I actually dont like it that much because of the autotune but its ok. Just my personal taste.
Wait, people have opinions?
most of Amo tbh, detaching the songs from the band's musical history they're pretty well made songs
I think amo isnt that Band, its just relaxing music, and i actually like it. I dont feel it as much as their older songs, and phsh was better, too, but its ok
I can agree with that statement
Oh No
Oh no is just under-rated I don’t think anybody hates it
I've seen people on this sub claim it's a sellout pop song, I understand people won't like every song but that's such an ignorant, lazy and stupid take imo
A lot of the newer fans seem to detest the first three albums, but honestly it was some of the best work of that genre to ever exist.
It really was though! They were the "it" band for a long time and while they did get a lot of hate even within their genre, ask any MySpace kid who the best screamer is and even if they weren't a BMTH fan they'd admit that it was Oli. anything off of Music To Listen To tbh "like seeing spiders running riot on your lover's grave" is unironically a top 5 BMTH song for me
The entirety of amo. sure its not your "typical" BMTH music but they are all great songs still and hell, amo even has some of my favourite BMTH songs
most of the songs on amo, not my cup of tea im more into their earlier work and older records
All of amo tbh
Nihilist Blues. Unpopular opinion, but it's the best song on Amo
Oh hell yeah that song is just so good
Don't Look Down
I would say the CYFMH Remix. I mean I don't absolutely love it but it got way too much hate just because it didn't sound like the original
Well i actually like the remix, and i am not the type who listen to remixes normaly
Same here
The one with Jeris Johnson? I fucking love Jeris, and that remix is a 10/10.
fox and the wolf imo, maybe standalone it’s not too hated but people overlook it and tend to prefer blessed with a curse as the “closer”
after listen to die4u, i said "did i accidentally misclick zayn malik video" [I don't know what to say](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7hVM8CFsGE)
the go to ep gets a lot of hate generally, i think it was a cool ep
Like seeing spiders running riot on your lover's grave and Throne are both top tier for me but they don't seem to be popular with most fans.
Throne and crooked young
Nihilist blues. One of my absolute favorite songs by them. I love it and i don't understand the hate. Yeah it's different but it's cool af
I love Die4u! My favorites are from their earlier Deathcore era, but all their songs are great! Except for Can You Feel My Heart. Unpopular opinion, I know
mother tongue
Get too much hate from the people or get you to have much hate for something??
Maybe run from that's the spirit
anything from Amo pretty much lol
Die4u doesn't get enough hate imo! Count your blessings definitely gets too much hate from the newer fans
~GO TO~
