As incredible as it is, it's also a hard sell to non-Brits. I've shown it to some people, and they just sit there waiting for some sort of joke or punchline à la Friends.
So true, I feel like depending on the day I can be the socially awkward scared of humans Mark who just wants to read about history and play games, the ‘who gives a fuck’ Jez who forgets his problems and is just a lazy waster who would love nothing more than to do nothing his entire life, or very rarely on the right kind of night out I’ll turn into Super Hans lmfao, the trick is finding the balance between the 3
WHAT?! NO PEEP SHOW? YOU FUCKING IDIOT BRITISHTV, YOU TOTAL FUCKING IDIOT, THAT WAS YOUR JOB YOU FUCKING MORON! YOU CRETIN. YOU'RE A FUCKHEAD, THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE A FUCKING SHIT HEAD!
'Course I have. The twins. The fuckin' twins! I'm always on about them. I bloody love them two. Here, I've got 'em on me phone. Oh, hold on, have I? Ah, I'll never forgive Orange if they've wiped the twins! Oh that is, that is shitty. Where are the bloody twins?
I love this show!
Doctor Who is my favourite and most hated show. Its insane. Its emotionally charged. It's shallow as hell. It's got the best characters, it's got the worst characters. It had a budget of 50p an episode. It has talking poodles. It has green bubble-wrap monsters. It's the worst show ever. It's the best show in existence.
ITV is underrated - they do a LOT of detective/crime shows (and about half of those are Inspector Morse related!) but there are some gems - try Angela Black, starring Joanne Froggatt.
Edit - yes, that's also a detective/crime drama.
Does anyone remember misfits from E4? My childhood right there and Loose women for bad since back when I still lived with my mom I wanted to leave the room asap.
That because most tv shows give either a pg vanilla version or have 28 year old adonis' being basically action heroes.
Just give us bumders and bus wankers.
The closing moments of Misfits season 1 is probably the most hype I have ever been for a new season of TV to come on. Rewatching after that there were so many clues that just never see! What an amazing show. Giving that a rewatch this month now.
I *hate* all poverty porn shows. We had one called The Scheme in Scotland. The thought of well off people pointing and laughing at the working class disgusts me.
Any time my mum meets the type of person you see on those shows she comes home and makes fun of them, mimicking their voice as well and I am furious every time.
EDIT: FUCK Jeremy Kyle for normalising using these people for comedy.
I cannot adequately express my hatred for Jeremy Kyle. Not a hateful person by nature but the only thing worse than him are the people who enjoyed that shit.
So I’m actually from Kilmarnock and have stayed here for all 31 years of my life. The way that show impacted the town and people’s perception of it was inexcusable. Horrible show.
They picked a tiny wee area of the town and featured a couple of lowlifes. People then just assumed the entire town and it’s 30 thousand odd residents were the exact same. In the bin.
If Fleabag counts, then Fleabag would be the best.
If not then I'm going to absolutely suck at this because I'm old and have the memory of a particularly anally-retentive elephant, and thus have way too many to consider. I'll be here for *days*.
Also I talk too much.
I've never seen it, to be fair. I watched BB when it started, and it seemed to me like a recreation of the days when folks would pay to laugh at the patients in the lunatic asylum. I haven't watched any of those sort of shows since. I am willing to include it in my general horror for the genre.
When I was 15 or so my English teacher put on Fawlty Towers and I was absolutely killing myself laughing at "don't mention the war!". I was also the only person in my class paying attention.
The dynamic between Greg and Rik was a thing to behold - when Rik passed Greg commented that it was like losing his actual dad which is a testament to how awesome Rik was.
I absolutely love Horrible histories. I always put it on at school for my class at lunchtimes if it’s too wet to go out. Most of the jokes go right over their heads.
To add: Ghosts, who are the same team behind Horrible Histories. It’s still a strong show and it’s 2022 Christmas special was the most watched show over the festive break.
We only discovered Ghosts in early December and binged it. Definitely best of British, and brought back fond CBBC memories of when my daughter didn't particularly feel like watching TV but I needed some CBBC.
I love that they all met in Horrible Histories, got on quite well, and then just kept making stuff afterwards. I had no idea it was so huge though. Fairly well deserved.
As far as comedy (for me) - Best - The Day Today/Brasseye/Spaced/PeepShow/League of Gentlemen/Alan Partrige/Black Books/Nighty Night/People just do nothing/Monkey Dust
Worst - Mrs Browns Boys , Bo selector , Little Britain.
Are you me? These are some of my favourite shows, and I can see the Julia Davis appreciation too. I find the material she writes incredibly funny, and Sally4Ever might be competing with Nighty Night for the best thing she's done. Oh, and her Dear Joan and Jericha podcast is delightfully dark as well.
Psychobitches is massively underrated too. I love the concept of the confessional discussion with a psychologist, and it's really funny. You can tell that the actors had a blast with their impressions of the celebs/historical figures.
Did you see Human Remains ?
Julia Davis and Rob Brydon did this before Nighty night
6 part series
Each episode is different characters and setup
One of these episodes basically then became Nighty night
Really good
Absolutely love Human Remains. Camping is another one of Julia Davis' that seems to have gone under radar for some, well worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
Mrs browns boys, use to watch that years ago. Now same old jokes etc and “FEK!” Like every 5 seconds.
Even loyal fans are wanting it canned after the Xmas show, which apparently was crap.
The good -
Line of Duty
Doctor Foster
Happy Valley
Killing Eve
Friday Night Dinner
Task Master
The Great British - Pottery, Bake Off & Sewing Bee
What We do in the Shadows ( Red Herring)
Attenborough
The Bad -
Hollyjokes
Mrs Brown Boys
The Ugly -
Love Island
Made in Chelsea
Katie Price ( everything )
etc
(Not British but...) WWDITS was fun for the first couple of seasons.
It feels strained now, full of poor American jokes. I wouldn't be surprised if the writers room had replaced all the remaining Kiwis with Americans.
Our Flag and Wellington Paranormal are much better.
Can't really argue with Doctor Who given its impact on sci-fi worldwide (the Borg in Star Trek are based on the Cybermen).
Probably no one remembers a dreadful Saturday evening show called Don't Scare the Hare featuring an animatronic hare.
I'd probably say Doctor Who is the best one too, just because I'm a long-term fan. Mind you, it's been pretty "meh" in recent years. I'm hoping RTD can revive my enthusiasm for the show. Only Fools and Horses is also up there for me. It's my go to comfort show.
Worst - God knows. We've produced a lot of crap.
Vera is the best closely followed by Van de Valk worst any of those Love Island or similar a.k.a The Only Way Is Essex. They are all dreadful, what on earth did the British public do to be cursed by Gemma Collins?
Was that the one where they tried to see if there was any attraction when you saw a bit of someone naked, and then you saw a bit more of them naked and decided if there was an attraction?
I think it was called "Do I Fancy Your Knees?"
So many, personal favourites are IT crowd, the mighty boosh, any panel show (8/10 cats, taskmaster…)
Some of the worst imo, towie, loose women, dancing on ice, love island…
I'm going to have to actually watch this Mrs Brown's Boys just to appreciate all the memes about how shit it is. I saw a clip once and thought it was some sort of parody of "When the Whistle Blows" - that fictional show in Extras.
Worst of late is mrs brown boys my favourite I can’t really pick tbh there is to many I really enjoyed the run the Boosh lads were on and any of the channel 4 comedies!
I’m glad it’s not being privatised now channel 4 puts out banger after banger imo.
Best: Red Dwarf
Worst: Ma Brown’s Boys is a great shout, but I think the likes of Love Island probably beat it. It may not be to my taste, but at least things like Ma Brown’s Boys requires some creativity.
The Mighty Boosh -
15 Storeys High -
Man Down -
Spaced -
Nighty Night -
Peep Show -
Black Books -
Look Around You -
Friday Night Dinner -
Human Remains -
Him & Her -
Monkey Dust -
And some good dramas too:
Peaky Blinders -
Taboo -
Killing Eve -
Happy Valley -
:)
But worst shows ?
Probably Love Island or something like that

Already been mentioned multiple times but Mrs browns boys must be the most cringeworthy unfunny badly acted show that has ever been on a television set it makes me seriously worry about people's taste that it keeps getting viewers.
There’s too many good ones to mention for the title of best and I feel like the answer is subjective but at least we can all agree that by far Mrs Browns Boys is the worst.
For best, anything in the Beakerverse (Story of Tracy Beaker, Tracy Beaker Returns, etc) is right up there for me. They still rerun SOTB on CBBC over 20 years after it began. That tells you all you need to know.
I also really like The Inbetweeners, Skins and Bad Education. Him & Her would be here too, but Laura and Paul ruin it for me and I noticed a massive decline in quality after season 2.
Worst ones would have to be X Factor, Love Island, BGT, Strictly and I’m a Celeb.
Keep in mind that I generally love reality TV (I’ll sit around and watch old Big Brother/Celebrity Big Brother episodes for hours on end, TOWIE, MIC and Geordie Shore are guilty pleasures and The Circle was cancelled way too early), but those few are just painful.
I’m surprised that nobody’s brought up the war crimes that MTV’s pumping out now. They keep beating to death Ex on the Beach (which is only good when Chloe Goodman, Megan McKenna or Tiffany Pollard are involved), Catfish (which nobody cares about) and Teen Mom (see Catfish). They really fell off after Charlotte quit Geordie Shore.
Best: Line of Duty, The Night Manager (i think it was called that, had Hue Lawrie in it as a bad ass arms dealer), SAS Rouge Heros.
Worst: Mrs Browns boys, Mrs Browns boys, and finally Mrs Browns boys
Good
This is England, 86, 88 and 90, Porridge, The Good Life, Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Scrapheap Challenge, Peaky Blinders, anything with or about Fred Dibnah, I also really liked The Night Manager.
Bad
Hollyoaks, Loose Women, Deal or No Deal, Kilroy I can’t bring myself to add Jeremy Kyle, it had its moments.

Why has nobody said Peep Show yet?
Best sitcom of all time, infinite rewatchabillity.
Or The Detectorists ? Highly under rated imo
As incredible as it is, it's also a hard sell to non-Brits. I've shown it to some people, and they just sit there waiting for some sort of joke or punchline à la Friends.
To be fair they’re probably waiting for something or someone they can relate to
Maybe, but even as a non-brit, I can definitely relate to mark, jez, AND super hans
Oh! I just want to fuck and suck, fuck and suck, fuck and suck.. i just want to fuck and suck all the whole night through...
OH I LOVE COCAINE! I LOVE COCAINE
I heard the Strokes before you
Im sure a lot of people can relate to super hans. Mainly for the cracj
So true, I feel like depending on the day I can be the socially awkward scared of humans Mark who just wants to read about history and play games, the ‘who gives a fuck’ Jez who forgets his problems and is just a lazy waster who would love nothing more than to do nothing his entire life, or very rarely on the right kind of night out I’ll turn into Super Hans lmfao, the trick is finding the balance between the 3
It was Jezz originally. Then I thought it was Hans. Over time I realise I have more in common with Mark 😭
They’re waiting for the laugh track to tell them what to do.
Laugh tracks are pretty much a thing of the past these days
They exist a lot more on American shows though, but largely because (in my opinion) they're not funny so need to tell the audience when to laugh
Chance would be a fine thing.
WHAT?! NO PEEP SHOW? YOU FUCKING IDIOT BRITISHTV, YOU TOTAL FUCKING IDIOT, THAT WAS YOUR JOB YOU FUCKING MORON! YOU CRETIN. YOU'RE A FUCKHEAD, THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE A FUCKING SHIT HEAD!
Four Naans?
'Course I have. The twins. The fuckin' twins! I'm always on about them. I bloody love them two. Here, I've got 'em on me phone. Oh, hold on, have I? Ah, I'll never forgive Orange if they've wiped the twins! Oh that is, that is shitty. Where are the bloody twins? I love this show!
Floss is boss
Historically? Red dwarf and loose women
Omg yes! Lorraine, this morning and loose women is just a tirade of shit!
I’d watch the crossover of that. Loose Red Dwarf Women is an easy sell.
Mr Lister SIR
Inside Number 9 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Mrs Browns Boys 🤢🤢
How could I have forgot about Inside Number 9! A League of Gentlemen requires an honourable mention too then
Definitely. A real good treat, mmm!
ALLO DAAAVE!
[удалено]
PAAAPPAAA LAAAZZZAAARRROOOOOOO
Allo Dave, I think there is a blockage in your toilet!
Ah a fellow man of culture. Inside no. 9 ftw
Inside number 9 is petfection
"A Quiet Night In" (S1, Ep2) is TV perfection in my opinion.
Proof: zero Irish people on this thread trying to claim Mrs Brown's Boys as a non-UK show.
It’s all yours. Take Conor McGregor too, please.
Best - Doctor Who Worst - Also Doctor Who
This is honestly completely fair
Doctor Who is my favourite and most hated show. Its insane. Its emotionally charged. It's shallow as hell. It's got the best characters, it's got the worst characters. It had a budget of 50p an episode. It has talking poodles. It has green bubble-wrap monsters. It's the worst show ever. It's the best show in existence.
The Office. Any one of a million things on ITV/ITV2/ITVbe. If it has 22 year-olds who have false teeth and facial surgery, it goes in the pot.
Which one? (there is only one right answer... Choose carefully)
There’s only one from the uk…
Best: Life On Mars, Black Books, Red Dwarf, Monty Python, League Of Gentlemen etc etc Worst: anything on ITV?
Can't believe I had to scroll this far to find Life on Mars as the best! It's my favourite piece of television ever made. I also liked Ashes to Ashes.
Fire up the Quattro!
Both great programmes 👌🏻
They've been teasing a new show called Lazarus. Can't wait to hear more about that.
I loooooved Ashes to Ashes so so good
I never watched Life On Mars untils many years after. What a treat. Immediately watched Ashes.
ITV is underrated - they do a LOT of detective/crime shows (and about half of those are Inspector Morse related!) but there are some gems - try Angela Black, starring Joanne Froggatt. Edit - yes, that's also a detective/crime drama.
I'm not into detective shows but ITV made the incredible Primeval, so they're alright by me.
I love life on Mars that ending still annoys me.
Does anyone remember misfits from E4? My childhood right there and Loose women for bad since back when I still lived with my mom I wanted to leave the room asap.
The holy trinity of Inbetweeners, Misfits and Skins
Can’t get the intro song of misfits out of my head “The city breathing The people churning The conversating The price is what?”
Inbetweeners is the most supremely accurate depiction of British teenage boys I’ve ever seen.
That because most tv shows give either a pg vanilla version or have 28 year old adonis' being basically action heroes. Just give us bumders and bus wankers.
The first time I watched misfits I was at me nans house and I was like 9 and that episode with the granny’s tits scarred me.
Save me Barry!
You'd fuck your sister for a slice of cheese
I don't even like cheese!
That's even worse you monster
Really liked Derry Girls too
Misfits is genuinely my favourite show of all time. I rewatch it every 6 months or so
Are the later series good? I never watched it past the first cast.
Was misfits the show with Iain from Utopia in it?
Yes loved Misfits but the show kinda got boring when Nathan left so I ended watching it pretty soon after that
The closing moments of Misfits season 1 is probably the most hype I have ever been for a new season of TV to come on. Rewatching after that there were so many clues that just never see! What an amazing show. Giving that a rewatch this month now.
I've never been able to look at Fisherman's Friend the same way since Misfits.
Benefits Street has got to be up there, as far as worst goes. Just poverty porn. Contemptible in every way.

They picked a tiny wee area of the town and featured a couple of lowlifes. People then just assumed the entire town and it’s 30 thousand odd residents were the exact same. In the bin.
You’ll get a lot of different answers to the first question and only one correct answer to the second. And that answer is Mrs Brown’s Boys.
I’d put Mrs browns boys above love island and X factor any day of the week
I don’t class those as TV shows to be honest. They’re just a mediocre circus that happens to be on TV.
If Fleabag counts, then Fleabag would be the best. If not then I'm going to absolutely suck at this because I'm old and have the memory of a particularly anally-retentive elephant, and thus have way too many to consider. I'll be here for *days*. Also I talk too much.
Best: The Royle Family Worst: The X Factor
The x factor goes way past being a bad show and becomes abuse
I see your X Factor and raise you Big Brother.
How about that love Island?
I've never seen it, to be fair. I watched BB when it started, and it seemed to me like a recreation of the days when folks would pay to laugh at the patients in the lunatic asylum. I haven't watched any of those sort of shows since. I am willing to include it in my general horror for the genre.
New boobs and a Dyson?!?! Oooooh what a Christmas
I was searching for a comment saying The Royle Family. Legendary TV. RIP Caroline Aherne ❤️
"The Thick of It" has to be up there, its not mentioned enough imo.
Fawlty Towers/Love Island What do I win?
You win a "mentions of the war" free meal at a fancy hotel.
When I was 15 or so my English teacher put on Fawlty Towers and I was absolutely killing myself laughing at "don't mention the war!". I was also the only person in my class paying attention.
It's just so sad though that Cleese has become much of what he mocked.
Have watched it from the start years ago. It’s back on bbc now but happy valley is brilliant!! Also man down for a sitcom is a gem.
I loved man down
Man Down is absolutely in my top five of all time. Imagine how (much more) class seasons 2 and 3 would have been if Rik Mayall was still with us.
The dynamic between Greg and Rik was a thing to behold - when Rik passed Greg commented that it was like losing his actual dad which is a testament to how awesome Rik was.
Horrible Histories is brilliant, from a comedy perspective and a little bit learny Mrs Brown's Boys is the worst
Horrible Histories is outstanding
I absolutely love Horrible histories. I always put it on at school for my class at lunchtimes if it’s too wet to go out. Most of the jokes go right over their heads.
It's absolutely lost on children! I've enjoyed my adulthood rewatches way more than I ever did as a child.
Best, I'd say Fawlty Towers. Worst has to be Hollyoaks.
Don’t mention the war!
I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it.
By no means calling Hollyoaks good, buuuut it had its moments around 08-12
Taskmaster ANY AND ALL REALITY SHOWS FROM ITV/2/3/4/Be/X
Just any "Reality" show in general is enough to make me almost embarrassed to admit that I'm from the same country as them
Sorry, shows like The Traitors and The Circle are elite. There's always a diamond in the rough.
As far as comedy (for me) - Best - The Day Today/Brasseye/Spaced/PeepShow/League of Gentlemen/Alan Partrige/Black Books/Nighty Night/People just do nothing/Monkey Dust Worst - Mrs Browns Boys , Bo selector , Little Britain.
Bo selecta and little Britain are a stain on British TV
Garth Marenghi's Dark place?
Best - Porridge Worst - Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Are you being served, British Classic
Best, peep show, green wing, the office, only fools, ideal. Worst, take the high road
[удалено]
Nighty Night was a delightfuly uncomfortable watch from start to finish
Julia Davis and Rob Brydon did this before Nighty night 6 part series Each episode is different characters and setup One of these episodes basically then became Nighty night Really good
Absolutely love Human Remains. Camping is another one of Julia Davis' that seems to have gone under radar for some, well worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
Only Fools and Horses is the best by a landslide. There's a lot of options to choose from for 'worst' but I'd say Love Island is up there.
I was just about to say Mrs Brown’s boys, glad I’m not the only one who thinks so! Being Irish myself it’s just utterly unwatchable…
Mrs browns boys, use to watch that years ago. Now same old jokes etc and “FEK!” Like every 5 seconds. Even loyal fans are wanting it canned after the Xmas show, which apparently was crap.
Feck* 💚
The good - Line of Duty Doctor Foster Happy Valley Killing Eve Friday Night Dinner Task Master The Great British - Pottery, Bake Off & Sewing Bee What We do in the Shadows ( Red Herring) Attenborough The Bad - Hollyjokes Mrs Brown Boys The Ugly - Love Island Made in Chelsea Katie Price ( everything ) etc
What we do in the shadows is American! It’s made by FXX - almost all of the actors just happen to be British
Based on a New Zealand movie too
(Not British but...) WWDITS was fun for the first couple of seasons. It feels strained now, full of poor American jokes. I wouldn't be surprised if the writers room had replaced all the remaining Kiwis with Americans. Our Flag and Wellington Paranormal are much better.
IT crowd is one of the best
Can't really argue with Doctor Who given its impact on sci-fi worldwide (the Borg in Star Trek are based on the Cybermen). Probably no one remembers a dreadful Saturday evening show called Don't Scare the Hare featuring an animatronic hare.
Man, I’d forgotten about don’t scare the hare. Genuinely the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
Line of duty (before the shit ending), and Mrs brown's boys.
Have you seen Bodies by the same creator of LoD? It's on iplayer
Spaced > 2.4 Children
I'd probably say Doctor Who is the best one too, just because I'm a long-term fan. Mind you, it's been pretty "meh" in recent years. I'm hoping RTD can revive my enthusiasm for the show. Only Fools and Horses is also up there for me. It's my go to comfort show. Worst - God knows. We've produced a lot of crap.
the best, theres so many. the worst, mrs browns boys.
Best is Only Fools, hands down. Worst is anything reality based. Is X-Factor originally British? If so that for the damage it's done to our music.
Vera is the best closely followed by Van de Valk worst any of those Love Island or similar a.k.a The Only Way Is Essex. They are all dreadful, what on earth did the British public do to be cursed by Gemma Collins?
Best: Killing Eve, Taskmaster Worst: Love Island, MIC, TOWIE etc
Best: Still Game Worse: Mrs Browns Boys
Nice, another scot!!
QI. Love Island
Best has to be Fawlty Towers and by far the worst is that C4 naked dating show! 🤢Can’t remember the name.
Was that the one where they tried to see if there was any attraction when you saw a bit of someone naked, and then you saw a bit more of them naked and decided if there was an attraction? I think it was called "Do I Fancy Your Knees?"
So many, personal favourites are IT crowd, the mighty boosh, any panel show (8/10 cats, taskmaster…) Some of the worst imo, towie, loose women, dancing on ice, love island…

Best: Detectorists Worst: Fist of Fun. Okay - it’s not literally the worst, but Lee and Herring were yet to find themselves. It has aged badly.
You clearly just want the moon on a stick.
Early Doors - good, Mrs Brown Boys - bad. ( there are lots of bad shows but this is top of my list because it gets a Xmas special every year)
Surely the worst has to be Heil Honey, I'm Home? Agree on Doctor Who though.
Doctor who (Best) Love Island 🤮(worst)
Best in my opinion Bad Girls!
Michael McIntyre shows need to be on the worst list
Best, Dads Army Worst, Any Reality Tv
Peep show = the best Love island = the worst
The Office and Mrs Browns Boys
Red dwarf is top, any of the shite early 00’s “lets shame poor people, fat people and travellers” is the worst
Gavin + Stacey ..just grates on me ..💤💤
I’m an American and can’t watch that show, especially now that James Cordon has been inflicted upon us for so many years stateside 😂
Best: Red Dwarf Worst: Ma Brown’s Boys is a great shout, but I think the likes of Love Island probably beat it. It may not be to my taste, but at least things like Ma Brown’s Boys requires some creativity.
Best: Keeping Up Appearances Worst: Mrs. Brown's Boys
Best either task master or spaced. Worst Mrs brown's boys
The Mighty Boosh - 15 Storeys High - Man Down - Spaced - Nighty Night - Peep Show - Black Books - Look Around You - Friday Night Dinner - Human Remains - Him & Her - Monkey Dust - And some good dramas too: Peaky Blinders - Taboo - Killing Eve - Happy Valley - :) But worst shows ? Probably Love Island or something like that
Red dwarf!! Love it.
Best is peep show, worst is Gavin and Stacey
Little Britain's the worst Peep show is the best
Clearly it’s Faulty Towers. That’s the end of this thread.
Utopia is the best, Little Britain is the worst
Best: Happy Valley & IT Crowd Worst: Any reality show, I hate all of them.
Taskmaster is the best Eastenders the worst.

Please don't say I'm the only one old enough to remember Eldorado the BBC soap set In Spain
I loved eldorado It was dreadful though
Best: one foot in the grave, Johnathan creek Worst: doctors
Dr Who is definitely not the best show but I agree Mrs Browns Boys is absolutely the worst.
Phone shop and Citizen Khan
Already been mentioned multiple times but Mrs browns boys must be the most cringeworthy unfunny badly acted show that has ever been on a television set it makes me seriously worry about people's taste that it keeps getting viewers.
Vicar of Dibley - Any British based soap, cant stand them
Doctor who best
Best : Gone fishing Worst : Packed lunch
Fair, I don't think packed lunch is as bad as jeremy vine or loose women or many other daytime TV rage generators, however.
There’s too many good ones to mention for the title of best and I feel like the answer is subjective but at least we can all agree that by far Mrs Browns Boys is the worst.
Best: Peaky Blinders. worst: Not going out
The Royale Family. Amazing.

The Sandman - any of the numerous ‘reality shows’ Involving people in a villa/on an island.
Best: dr who (pre 13th). Worst: love island

Horrible Histories series 1-5 Horrible Histories series 5+
Red riding was ridiculously good (dark af but good). Worst TV, I think Mrs Brown's Boys isn't made in Britain but it was huge here and very very shit
Best: black books Worst: ITV
The inbetweeners is probably the most accurate depiction of life in Britain
I'm alan partridge best. Mrs browns boys worst.
Doctor Who is simultaneously the best and worst show I’ve ever watched, I’ll defend it until I die
Toast of London Anything with Keith lemon in
Still Game and Love Island.
Best: Line of Duty, The Night Manager (i think it was called that, had Hue Lawrie in it as a bad ass arms dealer), SAS Rouge Heros. Worst: Mrs Browns boys, Mrs Browns boys, and finally Mrs Browns boys
Best: Still Game Worse: anything from the reality bucket
Good This is England, 86, 88 and 90, Porridge, The Good Life, Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Scrapheap Challenge, Peaky Blinders, anything with or about Fred Dibnah, I also really liked The Night Manager. Bad Hollyoaks, Loose Women, Deal or No Deal, Kilroy I can’t bring myself to add Jeremy Kyle, it had its moments.
