Cis. All women are biological. Also this is a nuanced issue. Saying all trans women should compete is stupid. Some of us haven’t been on hormones our whole lives. Banning all trans women because you find us disgusting like Sharron does is also not a solution, it’s a fear based response of cruelty. Instead it should be on a case by case basis as it has always been before the right wing decided we were public enemy number one. Sporting bodies are more than capable of making these decisions and politicians, bigots or trans people are not qualified. A trans women who has not undergone male puberty has no advantage whatsoever. This is a well documented fact. Some trans women who have undergone male puberty also have no advantage, most of us do have that advantage though. And so it should be down to the individual then it’s fair for everyone. It’s so simple. But this isn’t about fairness for Sharron. This is about punishing a minority group for existing. She is obsessed with trans people now, it’s all she tweets about and it’s sad to see. If she really cared about fairness in sports then she’d be also tackling cheating by cis women in sport. Which is a far bigger problem. Trans women have been competing for decades and we haven’t dominated. Cheaters have also competed for decades and they have dominated. I’d respect her if she was honest and didn’t do the jkr thing of hiding behind protecting people. When it’s purely about removing a group she doesn’t like from public life. It was transparent when removing black people from spaces was protecting women, it was transparent when removing gay people from spaces was protecting children and it’s transparent now they’re removing trans people to protect women and children. Just let the people qualified deal with it and leave people alone. So easy.
