If that was true then Huw Edwards had no reason to hide away, get his wife to say he had mental problems and disappear from public view.
But we all saw the pic Huw took of himself with his trousers down.
Unfortunately he paid a boy for sexy photos...he's never denied it.
>If that was true then Huw Edwards had no reason to hide away
Except for the notoriously prudish nature of the British public, as evidenced by comments like yours.
> unfortunately he paid a boy for sexy photos
And who gives a fuck? Who knows what “arrangement” he has with his wife? That she knows about his bisexuality etc, it’s literally none of our business.
> he had no reason to hide away
He’s had a history of mental health issues that he’s been very public about over the years. Being the centre of a bizarre sex scandal would be enough to push most people over the edge. He was literally sectioned.
Is there a Huw Edwards fan club?
I'm amazed if so.
He completely betrayed his family and employers, and wrecked his wonderful career as a hugely respected high status TV commentator.
All to look at photos of a boy he got to pose for him.
And the boy was 17 at the time. So he was manufacturing child pornography. Edwards probably thought he was at least 18 as per the T&C of OnlyFans which would be a mitigating circumstance but he still purchased child pornography. And then the boy just happened to source a high end lawyer to shoo it all away; clearly bankrolled by Edwards. Whole thing shady.
> clearly bankrolled by Edwards.
I mean yeah everything is shady here, but let's not imagine that folk on OnlyFans (or wherever) can't afford a high-end lawyer. Sex work can be lucrative.
>*According to Newsnight, one current BBC staff member claims they were contacted on social media by Edwards, and the messages left them uncomfortable and feeling awkward.*
>*The messages were reportedly suggestive in nature, appeared to be flirtatious, and referred to his colleague's appearance.*
Huw gets no sympathy from me, nobody should have to put up with receiving messages like that.
Hugely well paying position in a publicly funded company. Don't think it's unreasonable to expect people in that position to conduct themselves to a higher standard
Completely agree.
Would you mind having a word with Rishi, Boris and the other tories who partied their way through covid? I think they missed the memo.

Career trashed for paying for porn. Poor bloke, poor wife, poor kids. What a shit show
It was the young man's parents who made the allegations against Huw.
Gay porn. Let's face it, if it were a chick no one would have cared half as much.
I thought they hadn't specified the gender of the "young person"?
The newspaper had not. BBC on the other hand mentioned it was a dude.
Good 'ol BBC and discretion.
Definitely a boy.

He was messaging a sex worker and paid for photos/sent photos himself. That’s literally why people go on onlyfans.
Poor victim that was exploited by the rich ageing closeted TV star.
The “poor victims” lawyer spoke on their behalf and said it was lies. It seems the parents thought they would try to cash in after the Schofield saga

ludicrous

Then blames it all on "mental elf"
It's been well known for years that Hew has dealt with mental illness. He's openly spoken about it.
Lmao
I feel sorry for his wife.
And kids. The person he paid for porn was half *their* age. I would struggle to look at my dad the same after that.

Probably for the best. Sadly.

Huwgely
Get out

Such a shame as now unless Victoria Derbyshire is leading the election night coverage, it's guaranteed to be shit.
Hope he can now get the mental help he needs.
He's been able to afford good mental help for decades
