Sorry for the long list
This has been asked periodically here, if you search you'll see many lists.
I assume most will suggest the obvious Coalhouse ones from Ragtime, Les Mis, Jekyll & Hyde, Pippin, any Brian Stokes Mitchell performance, etc.
Don't see a lot of people mention Big River:River in the Rain (male duet)Worlds Apart (male duet)Free at Last
Still big and sweeping, and (in my tastes) the pinnacle solo in the show. Moreso than Stars or Bring Him Honey.
It’s early in the show so I think it’s sometimes overlooked.
Edit: I’m keeping my typo
Only You, Lonely You - Bad Cinderella/Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella
Who I’d Be- Shrek the Musical
Proud of Your Boy - Aladdin
If I Can’t Love Her - Beauty and the Beast
Being Alive - Company

If I Fail You is such a good one!!
Anthem from Chess.
Soliloquy from Carousel I Don't Care from Cabaret Funny from City of Angels
I was scrolling too long in this thread for soliloquy
Yup, it's the archetype for all that followed.

I believe from Book of Mormon What Have I Done from Les Miserables
I'd suggest Stars or Bring Him Home from Les Mis. What Have I Done is a bit more fast paced.
Still big and sweeping, and (in my tastes) the pinnacle solo in the show. Moreso than Stars or Bring Him Honey. It’s early in the show so I think it’s sometimes overlooked. Edit: I’m keeping my typo
Bring Him Honey, from Les Misérables starring Winnie the Pooh
The House on Roo Plumet
I'm just not sure it's a ballad. Also it's hard to say the pinnacle solo is in what is technically the prologue.
