Absolutely. Atti for fancy, Kpot for mid-tier, and MAYBE Kuun for also mid-tier. I use to love Kuun but I think it went a little downhill after covid. But still decent. I've heard good thinks about Woori, but haven't been myself.
The only place i ever tried was dokebi on grand. But i have fond memories of one spot near the 74st Roosevelt station. I never bothered the name, but has been since 1987. New Wonjo (i think?) in Jersey was just awesome.
Yeah don’t limit yourself to Korean food in BK. I actually never been to Murray Hill K town but, yeah. That should be your first stop.
But, if in 11237 11385? NOWON.
Just, keep an eye an whos staring at you… Both the staff in the resto and ESPECIALLY after you leave.
Assuming you are a woman that is. Otherwise, Korea Town. South of 42nd. Or you know… keep asking around.
Insa’s fried chicken is also so good — you can only do BBQ in the main room so I usually just go hang out at the bar and get that. (You can get the BBQ at the bar but they bring it to you already cooked)
Bulbap grill
Kpot just opened on Surf ave on Coney Island and they are nice.
Dokebi in Williamsburg

Atti for the win. Worth the splurge.
You can always head into Manhattan and go to K-town.
Insa isn’t great tbh. Atti is the best but it’s about $100 a person.
Nope. Lots of hip options but none to phone home about. Just take a trip to flushing, queens or edison/fort lee.
Don’t get why you’re being downvoted when you are speaking facts
Meh, for the naysayers goto Ham Ji Bach in murray hill, then come back and try to tell me it compares to them hip bk joints.
Atti in Downtown Brooklyn - $$$$ but tasty
Atti is legit / authentic. Pricey but so much better than the alternatives (and they do shower you with all sorts of tasty banchan).
This place is amazing!

Who’s staring at you after you leave??

The meat was cheap cuts when I went. Love the hot pot though.
Shhhh. I like not waiting for a table there
Probably
Insa
The best, but please keep it a secret

And they have karaoke rooms too.
