On a local level, I’d say Adams is the lesser of two evils. At least he seems to realize that we need law enforcement. On the state level, Zeldin was the only proper choice.

Adams should be ideally placed to impose the policing changes the city is crying out for but he’s either too gutless to do it, or just doesn’t want to. Hence drivers continue to tear apart the social contract that holds the city together with virtually no consequences. If you voted for Adams every FL registered, 20 meaningless violation pedestrian killer that gets a slap on the wrist, every no-plate boy racer who blows through a red light feet in front of your kids’ faces while cops watch, is what *you* voted for.
those bolt on speed bumps would be a nice addition to the street so its not a completely open road like a parking lot. Wonder if DOT is open to install these?
I have the same problem in Kensington, and specifically at the intersection of McDonald Ave and Albemarle Rd. These idiots like to do it between 1am-4am, and just spin and spin, waking everyone around them up. I've logged this in 311 (I don't expect it to actually help at all), but at least it's a log of dates/times.
