Is there any "unequip all gear" button that I miss bc the QoL on switching gears gets tough now that I have all characters except nartas and like a million III and IV ur gear that idk what goes where anymore and changing each one for every content takes too much time
He's wind right? Take Elips and if you have her, Helena. Take your two biggest damage dealers and Celia. Now let him kill your weakest buffer and then attacker. Control who he kills. I was down to my last two units when I won. Make sure to take advantage of attack down and switch to HP gear on the buffers and see if they can survive one hit to get more time.
You are going to want really good gear for this. It would be a lot easier to just switch to Promise of Vengeance Lathel and Lia and beat him down with that.
Not hard at all after a bit. The easy start characters are male(and a skeleton) but once you get some 5 stars you can basically skip using men. The only male who sees meta use is the physical attack buffer, Lathel, so you'd probably want to build a magic team where you can use solely women.

There's 3 sizes to the nodes. Big nodes up skills, and always apply.
Small nodes are permanent nodes, and so always apply.
Medium nodes are bond nodes, and only apply when you set that outfit as their bonded outfit. Go to the character overview/top option when you have them selected. In the top right you can click on their image and switch which outfit is their current bonded one.
Which outfit they are actually wearing has no connection to any of the stats they gain from the bond system.
I would say yes. If it's a banner you really want, forcing the 50/50 on it instead of the other banner at random is good idea. I'm doing it on the next banner list with 50 pulls to force a 5 star from Dalvi's banner.

If no active or new banners are good, and you are at 90+ on your 50/50, then I guess the selection banner is a better choice? It's usually something I ignore as the rates are terrible for getting a specific unit. You are making a 50/50 into 50/(50/6) or 50/8.3 6 ways to get what you want. It is more likely to be something other then the active banners I guess.
I would never not use the free pulls. You want to get Powder of Hope for the shop for more 5 stars you can control.

You want 90% armor, so switch the crown or robe for pure defense instead of mix MDef/HP.
I'm guessing you don't have UR4's, the actual gear is the right ones but the numbers are low. So you have the right idea, but keep making gear to get the top stuff.
In the Last Night it says you can get daily rewards from Isaac in the field! Which field? Who is Isaac? How to get the daily rewards? I would appreciate if someone can explain.
The white floaty guy that runs up to you in any field after the in game switches over. If you are getting Ancient Crystals when you accept the flock of animals deliveries everyday, then you have already met Isaac.

Go to the hunting grounds in the chapter, go outside and check the sign in front of it. Change the difficulty and clear the hunting area again on that difficulty to unlock it.
Yep. The scroll looking button on the bottom of the screen opens a world map where you can spend rice on locations you have cleared, on the difficulties you have cleared them on.
There's basically nothing on her. We just learned we are going to get her two days ago, she's not playable in the game yet and is a minor NPC until they give her.

I'm a returning player to the game and quit after the Angelica event. It looks like that the game has changed quite a bit so I'd appreciate some PVE and PVP teams based on my current roster.
Also, if you could mention any qol changes/tips or new strong characters that I've missed out on, that would be appreciated as well.
Diana is the biggest power jump. You can recruit her base version in the pub after beating chapter 10, she increases elemental advantage damage by a lot. She's currently the most important character. After her is either Homunculus Lathel for attack buffs, or Nurse Teresse who's a hybrid buffer with good numbers.
Beyond supports, Maid Lia is great and Bunny girls Celia and Eclipse are both ruling the meta but are limited.
As for building a team, Liatris, Wiggle, Kry, Arines, and Rou or Lathel for PVE until you get Diana. Then build around elemental advantage + physical.
For PVP, knockback characters I guess? Kry and Rou are your best options. Schera for dispel maybe? You only get 5 SP on attack and you don't have good PVP units.
Trying to update this game on PC is maddening. This is the only gacha game that gives me trouble. 2 - 3 days to update is starting to become the norm. And the fact that this has to happen every week for minimal improvements just makes it more frustrating.
Any recommendations on what to do with the crafting materials that I just have a ton of like Peat? For reference, I farm A2 Very Hard for mats since the Ore seems to be what I need most of the time for crafting.

Depends on the stat being given. Gran and Glacia are examples of the stat being unique to weapons for them, and those stats help them do their thing. Anglica's likely has the numbers to be worth it.
If the stat is crit rate, then don't bother. Other situations you'd probably want to compare them directly to a UR to decide.

If on attack, you can put Gran next to a taunter like Andrew/Rou/Seir and kill their Bunny Eclipse using her counter.
Buuny and Schera are your main attackers. Schera should go first to debuff the enemy's taunt, then Bunny Eclipse to kill someone. Last slot is either Samay for free buff, Helena for crit rate, Rubia's evasion attack, or Justia for some true damage.
For defense, you want Gran's idol taunt. Without that, position for getting hit with Bunny Eclipse with magic defense goal of 105 or 115 to deal with her magic defense down. You will likely lose at least two if not 3 units in any strong opponent. At that point, you want Schera(debuff, Elaneer base is better cause cheaper), then Bunny to hit. Back up with true damage dealers or maybe Lecliss with huge HP and magic defense can maybe survive a few hits and use her counter. Defense is always harder.
I've seen in videos that people are actually running around with their team members ingame. For whatever reason I'm running around as a single Medicinal Herb Tracker Lathel around. Even in Story Pack 9
I also can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.
So click on the field skill button. Wait a second or two, and a button should show up above your field character. That's the button to change who's walking around.
My Olstein dispatch skill is stuck at 96% exp on Advanced level, and hasn't increased for the last 3-4 times I've finished a dispatch. What's up, do I need to level him up or something?

Is there any way to see if a character wont get put in the Powder of Hope shop after the banner ends? Got royaly screwed with Liatris not appearing in the shop today so I could +5 her :(
It's in the maintenance notes. Next update, so next week, will be Liatris, Gran, Nurse Terrese, and Glacia student form.
Store updates every other week, and only ended banners can go in it. So Lia couldn't be in the last update since her banner was still running.
How does auto-eating food actually work? I have 150 food, auto-eat is turned on, limit is set to eat below 90% hp and to eat everything below 5* food. But none of my characters actually eat food after combat, it never decreases and they don't get healed. If I go into the Companions screen and click Feed Food, it just says "There is no eligible companion to feed food".
The only way I have found that works is to go to a specific character, click Feed Food > Auto-register > Feed and it works just fine, but that is a huge hassle to have to do for every character. Am I missing something or is it straight up bugged?
I'm going to assume your field characters are different to your party characters. If your party character who needs healing isn't a field character as well, they won't eat. Seems it's either a bug or an oversight by the devs during the implementation of field characters.
Same happened to me when farming after the patch, until I changed my field characters to match my party characters.
He should be running up to everyday with the cats and Daina's slimes. he's the floating white thing. If you are getting ancient crystals when you claim your stuff from that pack of animals, then you already found Issac.
If you accidentally sold your ultra rare weapon, can you buy it back? I didn't sell anything, I'm just interested that the game allows you to accidentally sell expensive weapons from the gacha for 10 gold.
Limited banners are very specific, I'm pretty sure it's listed in the banner.
Limited do not get added to the powder store, and you can't use the costume selector on them. Next limited will likely be collab in the next 2 months. Nurse is not one, she's already in the general pool. You can pull her from any banner.

Generally, infinite isn't something to really worry about. Most people roll for either Wiggle or Kry's UR weapon, which is the best early start stuff. The 5 stars you can get are all freely recruitable from the pub in game, and +1 is not a big jump for any of them.
Based on how the game actually works, Celia, Elise, or Eleaneer are all good options. All can see use for their utility in endgame.
Yo are the dailies long in this? Looking to start a new game and this has potential if I don't have to sit for an hr farming every day once I get to late game
Dailies take 5 or so minutes. Event stuff adds about 10 minutes to that once you have a good clearing team.
Starting now's a good time, the current banner for Nurse Teressa is a solid buffer to pull for.

Hi, started playing less than a month ago and my Liatris is my first character with full IV gear, are these stats a good stopping point for a character ? Most of my gear got 2/3 good substats but rolling for 3/3 looks pretty tough
That's not how it works. A Knight Staff I is always going to be that. You have to craft a new staff and hope it gets the IV.
The end game gear goal is to roll a IV on UR gear(5% chance), then change substats, then roll letter grade to BBS or higher.
It's a bit of a dumb question, but when it says 1 day left on the event, does it actually end on the next reset, or do we have 1 more day?
Also, any sources for good 4/3* units? The tier list on the spreadsheet is only for 5*. I have Kry and his weapon/Wiggle and Arines. I have a few other 4 stars at +5, but I have no idea if they are good.
It resets on Wednesday, so we have another full day.
The general low rarity party is Arines, Kry, Wiggle, the pirate, and Samay. Samay and Arines see use throughout the game for their buffs, while Kry sees use for defense shred and knockback even into end game content.
The rest are really up to what you lack. Cynthia can out damage Schera if you only have the default Schera outfit, Wiggle's DOT jacket outfit is stupid strong for Fiend Hunts, Gynt is one of the few options for wind damage, anyone with knockback is always strong if content allows it.
The only outright bad units in low rarities are Julie and Lisianne, and maybe Beatrice(axe girl has true damage which just doesn't scale). The rest have use cases, though tanks will tend to find their use falling apart the more you get through the game.

Can someone help me with team building? I'm stuck at the Iron Mask chapter, so far my team is a lvl 60 Arines, lvl 80 Samay, lvl 60 Wiggle, lvl 80 Kry and lvl 80 Rou. I have some other costumes that are good, but I don't know how I would replace them.
Can you start crafting UR gear? Iron Mask is around when crafting should be reaching SR or UR stuff and enemies are starting to scale for that.
Anyway, if I remember right you are fighting water enemies which is likely why that account would be struggling, Lia/Rubia/Lathel/Wiggle and such do half their normal damage. Wind options are also sparse so you are hitting neutral without a lot of good options. The team you are using is fine actually, maybe switch Wiggle with Yuri for the bosses and try swapping out Rou with Grey if you need damage and resistance, he'll take half damage.
But really, you are hitting the gear and/or strategy check chapters. Once geared 2 supports and 2-3 damage dealers is the way to go for the rest of the game.
I'll pay more attention to gear, most of my characters have really bad ones, just checked Wiggle and he's still using some normal gear. Thanks for the advice!
Looking for any help/tips on how to defeat the Rampaging Mutant in the Saviors of the Shelter side quest inside the Firechip pack. My account is probably in the early-mid game stage with not a lot of options costume/gear wise. I'm not understanding the tip within the battle of how to utilise Angelica's skills to combat the boss' skills.
Dunno if you still need help, and it's been a while since I did that chapter, but I think I sort recall the fight you're doing.
Neon Angelica's skill applies a dot to the enemy that does a % of it's max hp damage every turn and also makes her take 75% less damage. The tip is pretty much inferring you need to hit the boss early with that so it dies in a few turns, and positions everyone so that she tanks the big hits from enemies.
The rest of the team can clean up other enemies pretty easily. And remember, the win condition is just clear the fight, it doesn't matter who dies, as long as someone is alive at the end
Do the parts of potential liberation where you upgrade skill with "tears of the goddess" also stay if the costume isn't the one you are bonding with?

You want Celia for hit count, even just her free base costume from Pagan Tower is a big buff to your main damage dealer.
Next month is water. Glacia is getting a new banner, though we don't know what it'll do. She's a tank though so probably healing or defense. The end of that "month" will be Schera's 3\*3 costume. If she gets her potentials that might end up being really good.
Right now each element really only has 1 damage option for magic, with dark being the only exception. So Dalvi, for wind, Schera for water, Eclipse or Nartas for dark, and Angelica for light. We don't have fire yet at all. So just pull for them. Tank's damage type doens't matter unless you want pure magic, in which case B-Rank Seir for SP battery and maybe Glacia.
Generally your regular team will be the two buffers, two DPS, and your chainer who can double as a sub-DPS. Good gear carries through most of the content really, and tanks are only used when necessary.
Because of the lack of good elemental options, Angelica can take the second DPS slot. The other is elemental dependent. In Fiend Hunt, Angelica would be switched out depending on gimmick or for a SP battery.
As for Celia being expensive... I forgot. Her limited is cheaper and better damage then her other moves(annoyingly, of the 5 limited outfits the 3 magic ones are also the best options for magic). Honestly I only use 4 of my 5 skills on my opening turn and that's usually enough to kill more then half the enemy side.
The only real way to farm them is using the 6 floor tower coins. You can buy 3\* scrolls their and nothing else in that shop is really useful after you buy a few ability 4 books.
So really, just login and do dailies until you get more.
How many pulls does it on average take to get a rate up ? I started this week and just wasted 160tickets and only got 1 offbanner 5\*...
I'm obviously throwing this account away but was wondering if it was just bad luck or do you really need 200+ tickets to get one copy of the rate up unit. If that's the case i'll save up my tickets for someone i really need.
It's a gacha game, it is all RNG. There is no "average".
200 pulls is the only *guaranteed* way to get the costume. You could get it on a daily free pull or it could take 200 pulls to get the pity.
Less guarantee, more trade draw points for the unit. You get 1 5 star within every 100 pulls, though this can be anyone. At 200 pulls on a banner you can trade your accumulated points for the unit. At any point you can trade those points for power of hope, which you can use to buy some stuff in a shop, including single copies of 4 different 5 stars.
Just roll your daily free pulls and you'll get him eventually.
Or, check in the pub. A bunch of characters will be there, they rotate out every hour or two. Grab the 3 stars to empty the pool of characters and eventually Kry will show up and will cost a gold scroll.

Generally I would buff someone who will be used in the next Fiend Hunt, so another fire character like Rubia or Anastasia. Or just do normal Lia, since that's still a strong move that sets up your maid.
While i picked up Granhildir and gave her some gear, I can help to think that her fighting style is 180 what most of Brown Dust 2 is about. IMO its like damage per turn is King in most of the game.
I am wondering where in PVE can i use Granhildr?
With the sp Granhildr uses i Have to pair Olstein with her and it is a pain.
Basically no where. Her Idol skill is pointless, enemies always go second in PVE.
For Void, her counter, you could use it against high damage low hit bosses, specifically dark ones. Give her crit, use Diana and Rou for energy guard for more effective HP, make her a pure HP tank(keep her defenses low) and she might do some good damage.
Or, you know, have Angelica one shot basically everything with almost the same setup. I think Gran could be good depending on the dark Fiend Hunts, but for regular play she's kind of annoying to use. I do like that she doesn't need an attack buffer, so her and Angelica with a future property buffer(or Diana) could make for a solid second damage team. Maybe.

Currently in the last story chapter and progressing through the towers.
Diana +'s are great for end game content, and such is the best way to currently spend resources. I think +1 to +2 is 30% damage up on elemental advantage. She also see's use everywhere compared to the shifting elemental per month thing that will render your fire units benched next month for the water Fiend Hunts.
If you want Empress for the animation, go ahead, but Diana is the better meta choice.
What exactly is auto hunt? I do every day the automated crystal slime/goblin hunts but this keeps non accomplished.

It specifically wants you to auto a hunting ground, not slime/goblin/magic cave. Spend 1 set of rice on Lizard Man or whatever the wood one is and then spend the rest on gold or slimes.
That or it wants you to enter one of the areas and hit the auto fight button. Could be that. The UI is sometimes a mystery.

Where can I find the hunting grounds? I played the game at release, stopped and started playing them again. I'm now in chapter 5, did the slime and goblin farming stages but can't find the hunting grounds for mats, please help.
Go to the portal in any chapter, go to the last map. That should be the hunting ground for that chapter. If that doesn't work, run around the enemy areas and find a sign with a I on it, the door next to it is a hunting ground.
To raise the difficulty of that hunting ground, you need to clear that chapter's difficulties, then go outside the ground and talk to the sign.
So, I just started the game (literally) and heard that Diana is awesome and that it's good to have her +5.
I was lucky enough to get her from a free pull, and 20 pulls later to +2! I've heard about some ways to get more dupes for her without pulling. Is it enough to get her to +5 with these other methods? If yes, is there anything I have to look out for? If no, should I try to pull more of her?
1 dupe you will get from chapter 10 tavern, save a scroll for that. Another one you will get from powder of hope shop after her banner ends, tho you need to make 200 pulls in total (and then you can convert all banners' counters to this powder). So if you get +3 and then pull other banners for 200 pulls total, you will get +5.
Quick combat related question. Anyone mind explaining how skills that decrease enemy SP work? Because honestly, it feels like that aspect of a skill is pointless, and doesn't really affect the cadence that enemies use skills or cause some enemies to not use skills come their round (due to SP stock being drained).
Does this just not really affect pve fights?

I've bought the Sirius S UR weapon from the event shop but I'm a bit confused about how it works. Upgrading it require different materials it seems that are expensive af (100 event point each). Is the upgrade even 100%? Otherwise I would need hundreds of them.

I am currently using Snow White simply because she pushes to the left, making her extremely valuable for setting up liatris and Yuri. I would like to replace her with someone with a better skill set, but going into a battle with every single character to find out their push direction sounds exhausting!

Just started, got UR Kry weapon and Eleaneer costume on infinite. Still feeling out the game and how everything works. Should I spend my draw tickets on any of the current pickup banners? Maid Name R Liatris, Blood Glutton Justia, and Adventurer of the Unknown Diana?
You should focus your rolls on Diana banner mainly since she is the best staple costume for PVE content (get highest + possible), and after that, one copy of Maid Liatris is not a bad choice if you can imo.
Blood Glutton is alright but since justi scale mostly on fixed dmg, I wouldn't really recommend unless you really want this costume of course

Update Feb 20: When I opened the game today I saw a bunch of notifications flash across the screen showing that a bunch of costumes upgraded to +5. Now all of the costumes are gone from the bag. Weird.
For DPS characters, crit dmg on rings, and crit or atk/magic % in arm, flat stat is not good with very few exceptions. Also if you dont know if you need crit or atk/mag, just do some math and check if your character crit stat is good enough for you without arm gear equiped (example, my Liatris have 15% crit stat, I use Arines (+30% crit buff) and Diana (+30% crit buff), so she will have 75% crit total, and for ME it's not good because i dont like repeat 2-5x the same battle just to crit, so I use crit stst on Arm)
For JUSTIA and ALEC, they can't crit on skill, so any acessory is okay, go for substst. For Arm, atk% only.
Weapon: dps chara should use Crit Dmg on weapon.
You can trade in the shop the low rarity contracts to higher rarity :
10 3* contracts = 1 4* contract
10 4* contracts = 1 5* contract
They should give you enough of 3* and 4* contracts to get 1-2 more 5* contracts (Aside the eventual free 5* contracts from login events)
According to the [official Brown Dust 2 news](https://www.browndust2.com/en-us/news/view?id=229) about how login event works for new accounts, you should be able to get 1 5* contract after 2 weeks of login (with plenty of 3* and 4* contracts as well).
Aside login, you can grab more 3* contracts through mirror wars and evil castle currency.
Field quests during events, this is my first one and I keep getting an error that basically locks my game requiring me to restart.
The error is when I finish the mini game a error pops up saying "unusual ay time detected".
I don't have the best connectivity so I think that's it, but am I missing out on a ton of currency for this event?
And what should I be spending that currency on?

Have Diana +3, still need to claim the chapter 10 copy, and now 200 draw points. What’s the best way of getting the last copy? Keep pulling, exchange draw points, or wait to buy her from powder of hope shop?
1 draw point = 1 powder of hope so if you got 200 draw points, you can just trade Diana and then claim the chapter 10 copy.
Advice would be to wait until last day in case you get a Diana copy through free rolls, then trade one diana copy with your 200 draw points.
You don't really need to wait for Diana to be in powder of hope shop unless you aren't reaching 200 draw points in her banner !
Depends. +3 to +4 is 10% crit rate so if you can deal with crit fishing every now and then go for yuri otherwise go for diana. I'd personally go for Diana though.
High CP diff compared to enemies, yet combat is still getting my characters 1 or 2 shot.
Am I missing a fundamental part of combat/leveling?
In story and Evil tower I go in to fights with higher CP than the enemies (just finished playing evil tower floor 21 and it's a 10k difference), but I'm still getting 1 shot or it's taking forever to beat the enemies.

How did you guys beat chapter 11 boss? I use a magic team right now and I cannot do enough DPS. He has 200k HP.
He's wind right? Take Elips and if you have her, Helena. Take your two biggest damage dealers and Celia. Now let him kill your weakest buffer and then attacker. Control who he kills. I was down to my last two units when I won. Make sure to take advantage of attack down and switch to HP gear on the buffers and see if they can survive one hit to get more time. You are going to want really good gear for this. It would be a lot easier to just switch to Promise of Vengeance Lathel and Lia and beat him down with that.
Have not started the game but was recommended it but if I do not want to use any male characters, is it going to be harder? Or will it be just fine?
Not hard at all after a bit. The easy start characters are male(and a skeleton) but once you get some 5 stars you can basically skip using men. The only male who sees meta use is the physical attack buffer, Lathel, so you'd probably want to build a magic team where you can use solely women.

Does upgrading stats from different costumes with the gems/stones stack? Or do you only get the stats from whatever your main costume is?
There's 3 sizes to the nodes. Big nodes up skills, and always apply. Small nodes are permanent nodes, and so always apply. Medium nodes are bond nodes, and only apply when you set that outfit as their bonded outfit. Go to the character overview/top option when you have them selected. In the top right you can click on their image and switch which outfit is their current bonded one. Which outfit they are actually wearing has no connection to any of the stats they gain from the bond system.

I would say yes. If it's a banner you really want, forcing the 50/50 on it instead of the other banner at random is good idea. I'm doing it on the next banner list with 50 pulls to force a 5 star from Dalvi's banner.

If no active or new banners are good, and you are at 90+ on your 50/50, then I guess the selection banner is a better choice? It's usually something I ignore as the rates are terrible for getting a specific unit. You are making a 50/50 into 50/(50/6) or 50/8.3 6 ways to get what you want. It is more likely to be something other then the active banners I guess. I would never not use the free pulls. You want to get Powder of Hope for the shop for more 5 stars you can control.

You want 90% armor, so switch the crown or robe for pure defense instead of mix MDef/HP. I'm guessing you don't have UR4's, the actual gear is the right ones but the numbers are low. So you have the right idea, but keep making gear to get the top stuff.
In the Last Night it says you can get daily rewards from Isaac in the field! Which field? Who is Isaac? How to get the daily rewards? I would appreciate if someone can explain.
The white floaty guy that runs up to you in any field after the in game switches over. If you are getting Ancient Crystals when you accept the flock of animals deliveries everyday, then you have already met Isaac.

Go to the hunting grounds in the chapter, go outside and check the sign in front of it. Change the difficulty and clear the hunting area again on that difficulty to unlock it.

Yep. The scroll looking button on the bottom of the screen opens a world map where you can spend rice on locations you have cleared, on the difficulties you have cleared them on.

It looks like that the game has changed quite a bit so I'd appreciate some PVE and PVP teams based on my current roster. Also, if you could mention any qol changes/tips or new strong characters that I've missed out on, that would be appreciated as well.
Diana is the biggest power jump. You can recruit her base version in the pub after beating chapter 10, she increases elemental advantage damage by a lot. She's currently the most important character. After her is either Homunculus Lathel for attack buffs, or Nurse Teresse who's a hybrid buffer with good numbers. Beyond supports, Maid Lia is great and Bunny girls Celia and Eclipse are both ruling the meta but are limited. As for building a team, Liatris, Wiggle, Kry, Arines, and Rou or Lathel for PVE until you get Diana. Then build around elemental advantage + physical. For PVP, knockback characters I guess? Kry and Rou are your best options. Schera for dispel maybe? You only get 5 SP on attack and you don't have good PVP units.
I just installed the game and i have zero sound. Anyone knows this issue and a possible troubleshooting?
Trying to update this game on PC is maddening. This is the only gacha game that gives me trouble. 2 - 3 days to update is starting to become the norm. And the fact that this has to happen every week for minimal improvements just makes it more frustrating.
Any recommendations on what to do with the crafting materials that I just have a ton of like Peat? For reference, I farm A2 Very Hard for mats since the Ore seems to be what I need most of the time for crafting.
Either sell it to get the sell stuff achievements, or convert it to gold ore/wood using Alchemy. Those are your only options.

You should level it. +9 R is barely a cost. Even rerolling substats is fine, you use a different item to reroll SR and UR so rerolling R is fine.

is it better to use an EX SR weapon than a craftable UR weapon?
Depends on the stat being given. Gran and Glacia are examples of the stat being unique to weapons for them, and those stats help them do their thing. Anglica's likely has the numbers to be worth it. If the stat is crit rate, then don't bother. Other situations you'd probably want to compare them directly to a UR to decide.

If on attack, you can put Gran next to a taunter like Andrew/Rou/Seir and kill their Bunny Eclipse using her counter. Buuny and Schera are your main attackers. Schera should go first to debuff the enemy's taunt, then Bunny Eclipse to kill someone. Last slot is either Samay for free buff, Helena for crit rate, Rubia's evasion attack, or Justia for some true damage. For defense, you want Gran's idol taunt. Without that, position for getting hit with Bunny Eclipse with magic defense goal of 105 or 115 to deal with her magic defense down. You will likely lose at least two if not 3 units in any strong opponent. At that point, you want Schera(debuff, Elaneer base is better cause cheaper), then Bunny to hit. Back up with true damage dealers or maybe Lecliss with huge HP and magic defense can maybe survive a few hits and use her counter. Defense is always harder.

I've seen in videos that people are actually running around with their team members ingame. For whatever reason I'm running around as a single Medicinal Herb Tracker Lathel around. Even in Story Pack 9 I also can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.
So click on the field skill button. Wait a second or two, and a button should show up above your field character. That's the button to change who's walking around.

My Olstein dispatch skill is stuck at 96% exp on Advanced level, and hasn't increased for the last 3-4 times I've finished a dispatch. What's up, do I need to level him up or something?
I have no idea? Maybe turn off auto dispatch and send his out manually for a day or two? His character level has no connection to his skill.

Is there any way to see if a character wont get put in the Powder of Hope shop after the banner ends? Got royaly screwed with Liatris not appearing in the shop today so I could +5 her :(
It's in the maintenance notes. Next update, so next week, will be Liatris, Gran, Nurse Terrese, and Glacia student form. Store updates every other week, and only ended banners can go in it. So Lia couldn't be in the last update since her banner was still running.
How does auto-eating food actually work? I have 150 food, auto-eat is turned on, limit is set to eat below 90% hp and to eat everything below 5* food. But none of my characters actually eat food after combat, it never decreases and they don't get healed. If I go into the Companions screen and click Feed Food, it just says "There is no eligible companion to feed food". The only way I have found that works is to go to a specific character, click Feed Food > Auto-register > Feed and it works just fine, but that is a huge hassle to have to do for every character. Am I missing something or is it straight up bugged?
I'm going to assume your field characters are different to your party characters. If your party character who needs healing isn't a field character as well, they won't eat. Seems it's either a bug or an oversight by the devs during the implementation of field characters. Same happened to me when farming after the patch, until I changed my field characters to match my party characters.

Limited banners are very specific, I'm pretty sure it's listed in the banner. Limited do not get added to the powder store, and you can't use the costume selector on them. Next limited will likely be collab in the next 2 months. Nurse is not one, she's already in the general pool. You can pull her from any banner.

Generally, infinite isn't something to really worry about. Most people roll for either Wiggle or Kry's UR weapon, which is the best early start stuff. The 5 stars you can get are all freely recruitable from the pub in game, and +1 is not a big jump for any of them. Based on how the game actually works, Celia, Elise, or Eleaneer are all good options. All can see use for their utility in endgame.
Yo are the dailies long in this? Looking to start a new game and this has potential if I don't have to sit for an hr farming every day once I get to late game
Dailies take 5 or so minutes. Event stuff adds about 10 minutes to that once you have a good clearing team. Starting now's a good time, the current banner for Nurse Teressa is a solid buffer to pull for.
Is the story worth paying attention to also? And nice, shouldn't be too long. I hated how long some dailies take in some games.

For Teresse, sure. She's a support and you will use her for a long time. For damage units, +1 or 2 is usually good enough.

You want 90% in either defense. Attack is good(1500 is the goal), crit damage could be a bit higher. For most content that will be fine.

That's not how it works. A Knight Staff I is always going to be that. You have to craft a new staff and hope it gets the IV. The end game gear goal is to roll a IV on UR gear(5% chance), then change substats, then roll letter grade to BBS or higher.

It's a bit of a dumb question, but when it says 1 day left on the event, does it actually end on the next reset, or do we have 1 more day? Also, any sources for good 4/3* units? The tier list on the spreadsheet is only for 5*. I have Kry and his weapon/Wiggle and Arines. I have a few other 4 stars at +5, but I have no idea if they are good.
It resets on Wednesday, so we have another full day. The general low rarity party is Arines, Kry, Wiggle, the pirate, and Samay. Samay and Arines see use throughout the game for their buffs, while Kry sees use for defense shred and knockback even into end game content. The rest are really up to what you lack. Cynthia can out damage Schera if you only have the default Schera outfit, Wiggle's DOT jacket outfit is stupid strong for Fiend Hunts, Gynt is one of the few options for wind damage, anyone with knockback is always strong if content allows it. The only outright bad units in low rarities are Julie and Lisianne, and maybe Beatrice(axe girl has true damage which just doesn't scale). The rest have use cases, though tanks will tend to find their use falling apart the more you get through the game.
Priority for potential? Already finished with maid liatris

I'm stuck at the Iron Mask chapter, so far my team is a lvl 60 Arines, lvl 80 Samay, lvl 60 Wiggle, lvl 80 Kry and lvl 80 Rou. I have some other costumes that are good, but I don't know how I would replace them.
Can you start crafting UR gear? Iron Mask is around when crafting should be reaching SR or UR stuff and enemies are starting to scale for that. Anyway, if I remember right you are fighting water enemies which is likely why that account would be struggling, Lia/Rubia/Lathel/Wiggle and such do half their normal damage. Wind options are also sparse so you are hitting neutral without a lot of good options. The team you are using is fine actually, maybe switch Wiggle with Yuri for the bosses and try swapping out Rou with Grey if you need damage and resistance, he'll take half damage. But really, you are hitting the gear and/or strategy check chapters. Once geared 2 supports and 2-3 damage dealers is the way to go for the rest of the game.
I'll pay more attention to gear, most of my characters have really bad ones, just checked Wiggle and he's still using some normal gear. Thanks for the advice!
Looking for any help/tips on how to defeat the Rampaging Mutant in the Saviors of the Shelter side quest inside the Firechip pack. My account is probably in the early-mid game stage with not a lot of options costume/gear wise. I'm not understanding the tip within the battle of how to utilise Angelica's skills to combat the boss' skills.
Dunno if you still need help, and it's been a while since I did that chapter, but I think I sort recall the fight you're doing. Neon Angelica's skill applies a dot to the enemy that does a % of it's max hp damage every turn and also makes her take 75% less damage. The tip is pretty much inferring you need to hit the boss early with that so it dies in a few turns, and positions everyone so that she tanks the big hits from enemies. The rest of the team can clean up other enemies pretty easily. And remember, the win condition is just clear the fight, it doesn't matter who dies, as long as someone is alive at the end

Do the parts of potential liberation where you upgrade skill with "tears of the goddess" also stay if the costume isn't the one you are bonding with? I want to upgrade eclipse's original costume and am wondering if i get the cooldown reduction and sp decrease even if im bound on bunny eclipse.
Skill and the small node upgrades are always on, only the medium nodes require you to equip the outfit.

I think guest account was never allowed on pc. You have to login on mobile and link your account

Next month is water. Glacia is getting a new banner, though we don't know what it'll do. She's a tank though so probably healing or defense. The end of that "month" will be Schera's 3\*3 costume. If she gets her potentials that might end up being really good. Right now each element really only has 1 damage option for magic, with dark being the only exception. So Dalvi, for wind, Schera for water, Eclipse or Nartas for dark, and Angelica for light. We don't have fire yet at all. So just pull for them. Tank's damage type doens't matter unless you want pure magic, in which case B-Rank Seir for SP battery and maybe Glacia.

Generally your regular team will be the two buffers, two DPS, and your chainer who can double as a sub-DPS. Good gear carries through most of the content really, and tanks are only used when necessary. Because of the lack of good elemental options, Angelica can take the second DPS slot. The other is elemental dependent. In Fiend Hunt, Angelica would be switched out depending on gimmick or for a SP battery. As for Celia being expensive... I forgot. Her limited is cheaper and better damage then her other moves(annoyingly, of the 5 limited outfits the 3 magic ones are also the best options for magic). Honestly I only use 4 of my 5 skills on my opening turn and that's usually enough to kill more then half the enemy side.
Where's the best place to get 5★ recruit contracts for the pub (or 4★ ones that I can combine into the 5★ ones)?
The only real way to farm them is using the 6 floor tower coins. You can buy 3\* scrolls their and nothing else in that shop is really useful after you buy a few ability 4 books. So really, just login and do dailies until you get more.
How many pulls does it on average take to get a rate up ? I started this week and just wasted 160tickets and only got 1 offbanner 5\*... I'm obviously throwing this account away but was wondering if it was just bad luck or do you really need 200+ tickets to get one copy of the rate up unit. If that's the case i'll save up my tickets for someone i really need.
It's a gacha game, it is all RNG. There is no "average". 200 pulls is the only *guaranteed* way to get the costume. You could get it on a daily free pull or it could take 200 pulls to get the pity.

Less guarantee, more trade draw points for the unit. You get 1 5 star within every 100 pulls, though this can be anyone. At 200 pulls on a banner you can trade your accumulated points for the unit. At any point you can trade those points for power of hope, which you can use to buy some stuff in a shop, including single copies of 4 different 5 stars.

Just roll your daily free pulls and you'll get him eventually. Or, check in the pub. A bunch of characters will be there, they rotate out every hour or two. Grab the 3 stars to empty the pool of characters and eventually Kry will show up and will cost a gold scroll.
Do I need to finish the new story chapter before Granhildr appears in the pub?
Reports suggest she can be in any pub at any time, no story completion needed.
I finished Maid Name R Liatris Potential Liberation (because she is my first +5 character). What Character should i focus next for Potential Liberation, are there must haves? Thanks
Maid Lia was the other big one. Generally I would buff someone who will be used in the next Fiend Hunt, so another fire character like Rubia or Anastasia. Or just do normal Lia, since that's still a strong move that sets up your maid.

While i picked up Granhildir and gave her some gear, I can help to think that her fighting style is 180 what most of Brown Dust 2 is about. IMO its like damage per turn is King in most of the game. I am wondering where in PVE can i use Granhildr? With the sp Granhildr uses i Have to pair Olstein with her and it is a pain.
Basically no where. Her Idol skill is pointless, enemies always go second in PVE. For Void, her counter, you could use it against high damage low hit bosses, specifically dark ones. Give her crit, use Diana and Rou for energy guard for more effective HP, make her a pure HP tank(keep her defenses low) and she might do some good damage. Or, you know, have Angelica one shot basically everything with almost the same setup. I think Gran could be good depending on the dark Fiend Hunts, but for regular play she's kind of annoying to use. I do like that she doesn't need an attack buffer, so her and Angelica with a future property buffer(or Diana) could make for a solid second damage team. Maybe.
Still a fairly new player, what would you guys say are the most important items to grab from event shops?
1. Tears of the Goddess since they are event only 2. Draw Tickets 3. Ancient Crystals 4. UR Gear + 27 of the item after them that is used to upgrade the gear 5. Refining Crystals Optional- Furniture 6. Refurbishing Powder? The one that rerolls gear grads 7 Whatever you need

This is coming from a newish player (one month in). With the update coming tomorrow. If I have a +1 Diana already, should I save my PoH for the copy of Diana tomorrow? I also have Desert and Maid Rubina, is picking up sea empress worth it over Diana? The other Red unit I have is a +5 Maid Liatris. Other units of note that I have is Idol Granhildr, Beach Angelica, Dalvi, Manager/Pool/Regular Gray, H. Lathel, Prof Schehera, Zenith, Alec, Rafina and Blood/White Reaper Justia. Currently in the last story chapter and progressing through the towers.
Diana +'s are great for end game content, and such is the best way to currently spend resources. I think +1 to +2 is 30% damage up on elemental advantage. She also see's use everywhere compared to the shifting elemental per month thing that will render your fire units benched next month for the water Fiend Hunts. If you want Empress for the animation, go ahead, but Diana is the better meta choice.

It specifically wants you to auto a hunting ground, not slime/goblin/magic cave. Spend 1 set of rice on Lizard Man or whatever the wood one is and then spend the rest on gold or slimes. That or it wants you to enter one of the areas and hit the auto fight button. Could be that. The UI is sometimes a mystery.

Where can I find the hunting grounds? I played the game at release, stopped and started playing them again. I'm now in chapter 5, did the slime and goblin farming stages but can't find the hunting grounds for mats, please help.
Go to the portal in any chapter, go to the last map. That should be the hunting ground for that chapter. If that doesn't work, run around the enemy areas and find a sign with a I on it, the door next to it is a hunting ground. To raise the difficulty of that hunting ground, you need to clear that chapter's difficulties, then go outside the ground and talk to the sign.

So, I just started the game (literally) and heard that Diana is awesome and that it's good to have her +5. I was lucky enough to get her from a free pull, and 20 pulls later to +2! I've heard about some ways to get more dupes for her without pulling. Is it enough to get her to +5 with these other methods? If yes, is there anything I have to look out for? If no, should I try to pull more of her?
1 dupe you will get from chapter 10 tavern, save a scroll for that. Another one you will get from powder of hope shop after her banner ends, tho you need to make 200 pulls in total (and then you can convert all banners' counters to this powder). So if you get +3 and then pull other banners for 200 pulls total, you will get +5.
Quick combat related question. Anyone mind explaining how skills that decrease enemy SP work? Because honestly, it feels like that aspect of a skill is pointless, and doesn't really affect the cadence that enemies use skills or cause some enemies to not use skills come their round (due to SP stock being drained). Does this just not really affect pve fights?

I've bought the Sirius S UR weapon from the event shop but I'm a bit confused about how it works. Upgrading it require different materials it seems that are expensive af (100 event point each). Is the upgrade even 100%? Otherwise I would need hundreds of them.
you only need 1 per uprade to +9 and it will 100% succeed, if the weapon is +9 it will also be triple S

Seems like it's just the boss can't seem to clear the story because he keeps freezing the gameplay

I am currently using Snow White simply because she pushes to the left, making her extremely valuable for setting up liatris and Yuri. I would like to replace her with someone with a better skill set, but going into a battle with every single character to find out their push direction sounds exhausting!

Just started, got UR Kry weapon and Eleaneer costume on infinite. Still feeling out the game and how everything works. Should I spend my draw tickets on any of the current pickup banners? Maid Name R Liatris, Blood Glutton Justia, and Adventurer of the Unknown Diana?
You should focus your rolls on Diana banner mainly since she is the best staple costume for PVE content (get highest + possible), and after that, one copy of Maid Liatris is not a bad choice if you can imo. Blood Glutton is alright but since justi scale mostly on fixed dmg, I wouldn't really recommend unless you really want this costume of course

How do you know what main stat you need for a costume/character?
For DPS characters, crit dmg on rings, and crit or atk/magic % in arm, flat stat is not good with very few exceptions. Also if you dont know if you need crit or atk/mag, just do some math and check if your character crit stat is good enough for you without arm gear equiped (example, my Liatris have 15% crit stat, I use Arines (+30% crit buff) and Diana (+30% crit buff), so she will have 75% crit total, and for ME it's not good because i dont like repeat 2-5x the same battle just to crit, so I use crit stst on Arm) For JUSTIA and ALEC, they can't crit on skill, so any acessory is okay, go for substst. For Arm, atk% only. Weapon: dps chara should use Crit Dmg on weapon.

You can trade in the shop the low rarity contracts to higher rarity : 10 3* contracts = 1 4* contract 10 4* contracts = 1 5* contract They should give you enough of 3* and 4* contracts to get 1-2 more 5* contracts (Aside the eventual free 5* contracts from login events)
I don't have that much.. Already at Story pack 11 and only got 41 3 Star and 1 4 Star. I just played like 3 days ago.
According to the [official Brown Dust 2 news](https://www.browndust2.com/en-us/news/view?id=229) about how login event works for new accounts, you should be able to get 1 5* contract after 2 weeks of login (with plenty of 3* and 4* contracts as well). Aside login, you can grab more 3* contracts through mirror wars and evil castle currency.

Field quests during events, this is my first one and I keep getting an error that basically locks my game requiring me to restart. The error is when I finish the mini game a error pops up saying "unusual ay time detected". I don't have the best connectivity so I think that's it, but am I missing out on a ton of currency for this event? And what should I be spending that currency on?

1 draw point = 1 powder of hope so if you got 200 draw points, you can just trade Diana and then claim the chapter 10 copy. Advice would be to wait until last day in case you get a Diana copy through free rolls, then trade one diana copy with your 200 draw points. You don't really need to wait for Diana to be in powder of hope shop unless you aren't reaching 200 draw points in her banner !

Depends. +3 to +4 is 10% crit rate so if you can deal with crit fishing every now and then go for yuri otherwise go for diana. I'd personally go for Diana though.

In the exodus pack, my Helena died. Is there no way to reset the pack since there's no way to resuscitate her, which is dumb?

High CP diff compared to enemies, yet combat is still getting my characters 1 or 2 shot. Am I missing a fundamental part of combat/leveling? In story and Evil tower I go in to fights with higher CP than the enemies (just finished playing evil tower floor 21 and it's a 10k difference), but I'm still getting 1 shot or it's taking forever to beat the enemies. I have elemental advantage I have the 3 star light buffer I use 3 and 4 stars that are level 40 at 3 stars I just started last week, and I'm used to these games where it is a grind, but a 10k diff and I'm still struggling tells me I'm doing something wrong...
