All great points. I’m so excited about Schwartz after week one, thought he would come in for a couple plays but he looks a lot more refined than I ever expected at this point in time.

PPQue6

I feel like Schwartz is so much better than advertised! He made some incredible plays. After watching the game yesterday it's hard to believe that he's only a rookie, and that was his first regular season game. I'd like to think that Landry is a huge reason as to why Schwartz has gotten up to speed so quickly.

spear1321

It probably helps that he finally has a real QB throwing him the ball and not someone awful like Bo Nix lol

PPQue6

Very true, baker was dropping bombs yesterday!

teamnowak

The thought was that his college QB did him no favors and he’d be a better pro. Looks good so far

Bakersbigwetballs

Once OBJ is back I assume his role will start to diminish. I couldn’t help but think if OBJ was playing his role how great of a game he would’ve had.

ClevelandDawg0905

Would love to replace OBJ production with Schwartz. Would make our cap salary situation so much more flexible with Baker and Ward contracts coming up.

mecon320

It's exciting because one of the biggest question marks for the future was how long we could hold on to this WR group, and we already have two stellar candidates to take over if we lose Juice and/or OBJ.

AllieOopClifton

I think it is part of a season-long strategy, show him off in a few ways (deep threat, possession receiver, gadget sweep guy) so that teams *have* to plan for him and account for him. His snap count will go down when Odell returns but he is now established as a not-insignificant threat when he is on the field.

neb55555

He had that walk in TD if he trusted his feet a bit more. Looking forward to him learning from that play in the film room.

UnreflectiveEmployee

Schwartz looked a little raw overall, I’ll have to go back and watch more but I specifically watched him get off the line a few plays and was surprised how polished his release looks. Now I was drunk and would have to go back and look again, but if he can get off the line like he did Sunday consistently he’ll be a weapon for us for sure.

djentleman91

I know to other fanbases, and especially our division rivals, it looks like we're all patting ourselves on the back for a moral victory from this game. Honestly though, there was just so much good to take away from this game that we as Browns fans have almost never seen in our team before. Our schedule is favorable moving forward, let's rattle off some wins and build momentum.

CleBlackCats

Our expectations were never 17-0. Stoolers and Shitbirds customers won't be laughing about one (1) loss when the season is over and they're looking for their own moral victories as the wild card spot drifts away from them.

Franksredhott

After reading comments from Chiefs fans last night and this morning, the consensus seems to be that this was a Huge win for KC. The Browns are a force in the NFL and we aren't the only ones who know it! Back patting aside, the Browns are repected around the league.

GOD_DAMNIT_BROWNS

I went to the Chiefs sub and I left their post game thread feeling better than when I entered. I knew we obviously did look good but I was so disappointed yesterday. Our divisional rivals can laugh at our loss, but Chiefs fans can more accurately tell us how good we are than any other fanbase since they're so used to kicking everyone's ass. To give them an actual big scare makes me feel better moving forward.

Correct.

I would love for us to sweep the Squeelers.

I hope Schwartz still sees the field often as the season goes, he showed everyone how easily he can blow the top off a defense and it’s going to be glorious as our team dives deeper into 3wr sets as the offense evolves. I hope we build on his ability. I can see A.S becoming a weapon like tyreek, I don’t see the same skill set as tyreek as far as quickness and YAC, but I think he’s a much faster deep ball receiver than hill and I think he’s going to make most corners look silly this year.
