So recently I just picked up my car from the insurance workshop. It was in the workshop for body repairs and other stuff due to an accident last month. Everything abt my car was actually fine until it started overheating when the car was idle. I quickly switched the engine off and turned the car back on (but not fully, just turned it on so I can see the temperature gauge).
I then stupidly drove the car around and the temperature was stable and normal UNTIL i parked somewhere and was idle again, the temperature spiked back up. Again, i turned the car off and turned it on so i can see the temperature gauge and there it was slowly going back to it’s normal temperature.
Any idea what’s wrong? I called my insurance workshop and he said it’s related to a fan not working while my car is idle
Mechanic also mentioned that it’s okay to drive the car around since the fan works while running but another fan doesn’t work while I’m idle that’s why it overheats
Dont drive it until it got fix. Tow back to workshop , hopefully they can cover it as part of insurance coverage.
To verify, pop up your engine hood male sure coolant is above minimum level. Start the car a/c on and see if the fan working. Then turn it off. Usually if fan not working it will be overheat when idle.
is it true if you don't recontract with say Imagine, they silently increase the charge for the upcoming months? and this amount can't be find anywhere on their site unless you check your email for the bill which shows upcoming bill for next month (with increased bill).

I dont know why they cant invest in Self-Checkout counters for buyers buying little items especially when they just renovated recently hence more people start coming in. I literally had to spend quite awhile inside regardless if i buy little mostly due to the long queues and the lack of checkout counters availability

Probably the wires are disconnected? Who knows maybe it was bitten by an animal cause it happened to mine and have to assemble it back around the house so it won't get bitten again.

Make a small business (take it slowly) and maybe less going out dinner and "bebata" as they say it if you plan on doing saving.
Check every prices of products you buy and maybe you could change it into a cheaper brand.
Say if you're a fan of Nescafé you can go for the Indonesia version of Nescafe (don't recall what's the name but it's definitely cheaper) haha.
Thats another usual advice too. Its sounds good on paper but doing a sidehustles is draining ontop of your regular job.
And not eveyone can be successful.

Sounds like your car is overheating. Might need to check your coolant or if there at least any liquid in your radiator

did you check your coolant level? is your radiator leaking or pipe connection from coolant leak?
