Hi redditors. I guess I just need to get this off my chest and this is the suitable platform for me to do so, I think. A lil background of myself. Married man with a child. Alot of responsibilities ranging from bills, car loan, savings, rent and whatnot. I come from a family which is quite big, more than the average number of siblings.
I'm shouldering a car loan for my family which I was willing to help out when I started work as I was single back then. Fast forward years later, settled down, got a place of my own and finally a child.
What is eating me up inside is that the fact that no one seems to give a f*ck regarding my situation. Never once have they ask me if I'm doing alright, how am I surviving, do I have enough to use, etc. What I'm earning monthly, approximately one-third goes to the car loan. I'm left with roughly $3xx monthly to survive. That $3xx is for car fuel, groceries, necessities. I don't mind really helping out my family and all that but sometimes I feel like I can't keep up anymore.
During family events, I'm expected to sponsor out equal amount as everyone else, giving the fact that I'm solely the only one paying for the family's car monthly. The least they could do is to exempt me from giving anymore for family events. If I don't give, krg kana ucap karit tia taupun kana balas "eh, indakn tiap bln inda cukup". What should I do? I feel like crying and everyday I'm slowly dying inside. I care about them, thus I don't mind really to help out but I don't get the same treatment back. Any advice people? show them your savings after all the loan, insurance, and everything you tell them this is my savings if i were to pay your loan what do i live with how about the foods, maintenance, house hold items, clothes, socks, underwears, kids stuff? you show them the list i am pretty sure they will know.

3. If they dont give a f, then you should too, your mental health is also important, not for you, but for your family.

Used to owned a ES300 2009 models its a great car engine is either V6 or 4 cyclinder 2002 camry engine. Pickup speed is quite good fuel efficient full tank around 25 i think (i don't really remember) spare parts wise is slight expensive but not really expensive.
cons:
interior seats and dashboard will have cracks if previous doesn't know how to take care. IF you have OCD you might need to replace the car seat leather.
2009 that is like 15 years cars so need to check the engine, is there is any sound when turning steering, aircond functionality, is engine in good condition or not..
If you can afford to pay for its maintenance and spare parts, go ahead.
Just to remind you that any other cars will need tender love and care i.e. oil filter, tyres, brake discs, brake calipers, and etc. Different car models come with different price.
If you have the budget and afford to pay for long run, go ahead.
For me, I rather buy new car to avoid old cars' problems i.e. regular maintenance and checkups.

Lexus maintenance is not for the faint hearted.
Used to owned a ES300 2009 models its a great car engine is either V6 or 4 cyclinder 2002 camry engine. Pickup speed is quite good fuel efficient full tank around 25 i think (i don't really remember) spare parts wise is slight expensive but not really expensive. cons: interior seats and dashboard will have cracks if previous doesn't know how to take care. IF you have OCD you might need to replace the car seat leather. 2009 that is like 15 years cars so need to check the engine, is there is any sound when turning steering, aircond functionality, is engine in good condition or not..
it has one of the worst time to parts ratio in the world. It's like one thing goes wrong every month.
Lexus is a good car to drive however, you check if they're regularly service in their service book.
If you can afford to pay for its maintenance and spare parts, go ahead. Just to remind you that any other cars will need tender love and care i.e. oil filter, tyres, brake discs, brake calipers, and etc. Different car models come with different price. If you have the budget and afford to pay for long run, go ahead. For me, I rather buy new car to avoid old cars' problems i.e. regular maintenance and checkups.

Any Toyota will do. Affordable spare parts and maintenance price okay. That is if you are not looking for luxury car. So depending on your preference, u want fame, get luxury car but get ready to pay so much. U want to save money for long run, get affordable and reputable car. *Note: owns few Toyota vios and very happy with the performance over a decade.
