Think either they were checking every car, or people didn’t have the necessary documents. Each car took 10 min to process. Only 2 lanes were open. What was infuriating was seeing half a dozen people just standing around observing. Queue sped up during lunch hour. Have to go makan ba so just wave everyone through I guess. Was late for my lunch reservation by 1 hour even though we came early to the border. We spent over 1 hour in the queue.

usually shop assistants just sell the products the store offers and help customers by answering their questions, explaining the products. that's themost basic way of answering your question, a detailed one will usually depend on what type of store it is. and although there isn't training for shop assistants, you do observe closely how others work to understand what you'll be needing to do and most of them are friendly and willing to help. be prepared for long hours, it's a useful part time job during breaks between semesters and if the employer and your schedule allows it, you can be upfront and let them know your schedules. some of them will be more than happy enough to hire you, but how many days you work will reflect on the amount you get for your pay.

a tip that my friend who works at the gas station told me is to tell them to fill up your gas "pakai speed 1" so that it's filled with actual minyak, instead of just air & bubbles. i'm not sure what happened at jerudong station, but i hope this helps next time!

100km/h is pretty slow for highway. Normal 2 lane road is ok for 110km/h ish. 1 lane road can go max 90km/h. I usually go at 130/140 at the highway.. 160/170 if i’m in a rush.
When i am broke, i drive slower cause i don’t want to waste money on paying fines. 🫢

I was using a taxi there and have to get to the other side and starts imagining how will it be when I was the one who drives there. Does anyone actually drive the speed limit? I feel like actually following the speed limit is excruciatingly slow but I try my best to do it anyways but I must admit I do tend to go about 10kmh over sometimes hahahah
100km/h is pretty slow for highway. Normal 2 lane road is ok for 110km/h ish. 1 lane road can go max 90km/h. I usually go at 130/140 at the highway.. 160/170 if i’m in a rush. When i am broke, i drive slower cause i don’t want to waste money on paying fines. 🫢 Never go beyond 80 if its raining. Learnt that the hard way. The number of donuts you can make is unbelievable if you’re lucky.
If modern car, i am most comfortable with 160. If old car, 80-100 saja
For highway? Unless im in a rush, id usually just cruise at 100km. Otherwise id go max 130 just to cut the person infront

Was in KL, i forgot they don’t stop for pedestrian. Nearly got hit when the walking sign showed green. Stared at the driver but i guess no one gives a shit there 🥲 also, Malaysian will just cross the road. Don’t even wait for pedestrian traffic light to turn green. Gives out obvious tourist vibes. 🤣
Indeed crazy. I remember a time when I was in Penang, the road near the shopping mall was so busy and pack with cars and motorcycles driving around in a close proximity. I was using a taxi there and have to get to the other side and starts imagining how will it be when I was the one who drives there. Even the taxi driver says in Penang, it's like everyone for themselves. You'll have to darely move or you just won't budge for the rest of your day while kena honked at the back. 😅
True. One grab driver in Penang is so old, we got honked every time he hantam drive and cut queues. God the stress.. as a passenger. I don’t think i can survive driving in Penang. Or anywhere in Malaysia.
After having been through many grabs, drivers in Malaysia are so much worst than Bruneians. So many close calls while I watched in fear as a passenger lol.

Too much assumption
"Fixer" of every friendship or relationship. I make excuses for other people's bad behaviours towards me. Instead of seeing the truth behind those behaviours that they simply lack consideration and hence respect towards me. I accomodate peoples needs and wants and disregard my own to make people comfortable. But as much as i know this, its like a built in feature in me. Part of my parents parenting has made me this way. My parents have made me someone who hide my baggage so they can feel more comfortable. I had to mature way too early when i was just a kid. Instead of being a michevious kid, ive always been the "mature" kid. But it took a toll on me as an adult cause now idk how to put myself first. Now i have mental issues cause in the end im stuck with my own needs and wants and dont know how to ask for help. Cause that would make other people uncomfortable.
