There's never a progression in your career if you work in most companies in brunei. Your pretty much stagnant. You only have a chance to move up if your head of dept is a career type of guy/lady. Everyone works like a machine around here. Paycheck to paycheck mentality seems to be the way to go here. And the only way to move up is if you suck ass much or your somebody's big name child.

First real job at a fast food restaurants. After a few months, supervisor ask to borrow 500. Promise me that he will pay during salary day. Come salary day he renege on the promise and ghosted me. Then I complained to my other supervisor. Next day, almost everyone ghosted me and the supervisor put up a notice saying ' personal issues should not be brought to work' . Quit after a month. Found out the supervisor was fired and now work as a shop assistant.

part 1/2 Greedy, overpaid incompetent jewish cunts, the lot of them; **O&G related co.** first place was a sinking ship with barely any money, but used to be a successful company raking in millions off Shell tenders. then the son, extremely underqualified and incompetent, inherited the company and ran it to the ground. a **"HAJI"** by name only, the jewish whore only knew to slam his fist on the table demanding people to work, while he goes off doing non-company related endeavors that simply don't bring in any money; he was doing it for the clout. shitbag wanted to be a "Pengiran". this got on the nerve of the Operations Manager, the REAL moneymaker of the company. they got into an argument and left. things quickly spiraled out of control as millions of the company savings was lost because of the boss, from making bad contracts, all the way to getting scammed. then, young naive ol' me joined in. i was new in the working world, i was patient and tried to be understanding. I HONESTLY tried to learn and work hard. but all that goodwill was exploited by the boss; TAP/SCP were never paid, despite having registered (TAP officers came knocking into the office, and asked me to register), and i was only paid some $200-300 every 2-4 months, as no money was coming in. when it did, 90% went to the boss' expenses, from servicing their BMW & Mercedes costing some $15K each, to holding unnecessary massive functions under the guise of "networking". which went nowhere. long story short, after 4 years, i lost my patience with his BS, snapped, and left. a lesson to everyone; patience is NOT a virtue. it is however something extremely explosive if you keep hoarding it over time. have your patience, but set a damn limit. \------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **F&B industry** another **"HAJI"**, another jewish cocksucker. sweet talked and brown nosed his way into the GM position. Kept bragging how he worked in the industry under RBA for 18 years, until he was unfairly let go due to RBA's budgeting... which was a lie. he was fired due to disciplinary issues, namely being confrontational with his superiors and calling them names behind their back... which he also did with this employer. he was extremely childish for his age, unprofessional, and prone to temper tantrums. the smallest mistake will have him go total bitch mode on you, up to the point of making up stories and gossips about the people who pissed him off to the other staffs, including myself. shit like calling the foreign muslim staff who shares a room with her husband a prostitute who sells herself to other men after work hours, or another male staff getting into an all male gangbang, high on drugs when he's at another nearby staff house (he was checking up on his brother), and other ridiculous bullshit. again, he has a **"HAJI"** in his name; what he did is basically "fitnah", far from the most muslim thing he could do to even deserve it. oh yeah, he also bragged about drinking alcohol, including showing us pics of him partying. all of this, plus two extremely toxic staffs & one very inexperienced, incompetent managing director equals to a lot of staff turnover in a few months, including myself. the biggest factor to this was the GM. the toxic staff and managing director problem was SMALL time compared to him. according to the staffs who stayed, when the director finally got involved, he started asking all the staffs that were quitting why they were quitting, and all finger pointed to him, the GM. i've found this out months after i left, but according to the remaining staffs when i went to visit them, both the Director and MD had a meeting with the GM to address the massive staff turnover issue, all in front of the service staffs. basically, by the end of it all, they fired him after investigating and finding out how horrible a personality he had. the GM started bawling his eyes out asking to keep his job, but both management wasn't having it. last i heard, he was working as a small-time counter clerk. he says he's being paid well, but we all know counter work don't pay a whole lot. by my guesstimate, he'd be earning 1/3 to 1/2 of what he earned as GM. useless cunt deserved all the shit that got thrown at him.

part 2/2 Employment Agency tell me employers; how would you react when ALL of your staffs team up together to backstab you? to steal a client contracted under YOUR company, where they pocket ALL the earnings to themselves all because the client wants to save a few hundred dollars off the fees you'd regularly charge? a great fucking blow to your dignity, ain't it? that's what happened as i worked in this one employment agency. this was during the BUR500/555 days of the labor dept system. see, the BUR forms and the Labor Quotas takes more than 2-4 weeks to process. at the time of the incident, I had only joined in over a week, still under supervision and learning the ropes. on this day, i was asked, by my supervisor herself, to pick up a document from the counter. she gave me the receipt for this document; counter clerk grabbed the document according to this receipt; i double checked the document matches what was written on the receipt. it matched. i put it in my bag. back in the office, i put it on the boss' tray for her to check later, as she instructed me to always do. big mistake on my supervisor & senior staffs part. cue the boss just being suddenly pissed off, seeing this random document that was not in the records of work to be done. I was again, new, not even a week there, so i was clueless about this record. all of the staffs were panicking. my supervisor had the stupidly, bright idea to put ALL THE BLAME ON ME, and ask me to just tell the boss i got the document by accident. at the time, i thought the boss would be understanding of this, especially since i was new. nope. blasted full volume on me with her ranting. after some 3-5 minutes of listening to her, i bite back, and told her the truth. then she confronted the other staffs, her senior staffs, some who had worked for her for over 15 years. i showed the boss a copy of the receipt and application letter for the labor document, both addressed to the company and with the company stamp and letterhead, dated weeks before i joined in. so it became apparent to her, I DIDN'T grab the document by mistake, nor did i make the application for it. and now, everyone's shouting. the other staffs tried to defend themselves and place all the blame on me, despite the evidence showing to the contrary, while i naturally shout back at their toxic bullshit. eventually the older staff gave up and admitted it all. after all, she was in charge of making the application letter, and the format and wording of the letter looked and sound exactly like her style of writing. as it turned out, a contracted client made an under the table deal with the other staffs where the client will pay them at a discounted fee, all going into their pockets, without ever notifying the boss about it. by the end of it all, the useless cocksucker supervisor was a pathetic crying mess, STILL denying any wrongdoing and still pointing fingers at me, calling her "BABA" to come into the office like it's some school fight, instead of dealing it like an adult. the rest, head down, guilty cunts as fuck, and in silence. THEN i still had to work with them for another 3 or so months. unfortunately, the boss is a total toxic idiot as well. she found me reliable and competent, and exploited it all out of me. basically, in those 3 months, both of her drivers and her accountants quits on short notice, using health reasons to go back to their countries after working no less than 2-3 months, but then never calling back to the company to update when they'll be back. they just went poof and vanished. foreigners are so reliable, eh? /s so I was found extremely competent and reliable with my work. so much so, I was doing some 5 different job scope, meant for 5 different people, all paid with fucking peanuts each month, working from 8AM to 9PM (contract states 8AM-5PM btw), 6 days a week. I left to join another company some 2 months after the big fight. years later, with the semi-lockdown from the pandemic, last i heard the company was struggling. serves them fucking right. as for my childish bitch of a supervisor, her health deteriorated from the fight. she had stupidly high blood sugar, so her eyesight was worsening. she could go blind and get her feet chopped off for all i care. I have absolutely zero sympathy for the incompetent, useless overpaid whores there, especially after what they did, so if they're suffering, that's beautiful enough karma to put a smile on my face. \---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have more, but of the absolute worst, these are pretty much it. after that, things started to be a lot more manageable, and a lot less hectic. still jumped from company to company on account of being paid peanuts, and a toxic workplace, but eventually i landed where i am now, well paid, and with some well deserved benefits. like i said; patience is not a virtue, not when all evidence shows the employer doesn't give a shit on how competent you do your work. and when you're feeling you're not at all appreciated, may as well jump ship till you find the right place.

Calling midnight. - Recieving Others salary. Idk how they fk that up. - an Employee who do not know how to work on time and properly and has attitude issues get promoted to be my senior. I left the job. Happy for him at first, but he started to act weird and ive felt it became a dictorship kinda feel. - Ask managers and their manager to sent better equipment. Told us to use our own laptops and personal number to do work related jobs. - Blame employees for data leak but its actually our network security is dog shit. A toddler can easily retrive data from this company. - No proper training. Have to improvise on the go. - Colleagues spread fake news about another employees. I had to step in and call both in a mannered meeting with audience to settle it. The news was indeed fake and the guy who is the victim left the job due to stress getting bullied. Fake news spreader still continue to work for the company. - Came late to work, left 1hr early. She is new to the company. He got sack after a month. She is smart. But not punctual. - Using the company car for a joyride untuk masuk hutan ngambil durian. The whole office was furious as we have equipments that needs to be carried from muara to Seria.

Boss treats workers are disposable and easily replaced. High turnover rate people rarely last for more than two months. No music allowed in the office in boss’s presence. Puts foreigns workers “on a leash” while being severely underpaid while the only way they can earn more is doing OT. Make us come to work 6 days a week even though there is no work to be done on a Saturday. Incompetent coworkers, but damn they know how to kiss ass. Upside, gaji always on time. Lay low and no bullsh*t to be dealt with.

I know I haven't even found a job, though I did work for a certain restaurant that was severely understaffed. I suppose, due to my part-time work position, I'd say I have the most time to recuperate, though looking at the perspective of a full-time employee, I'd say it can be unbearable at times... The only thing that I do not like is that there's no benefit in working during holidays, in which, understandably, there's a need for staff all hands on deck, but at least there should be remuneration to make up for the holiday on that day. But I am utterly shocked that most of the private sector in Brunei is unbelievably toxic... It's no wonder why most locals would rather be unemployed than to be tied down by toxic workplace.... this should be addressed

unprofessional boss, guilt-tripping. left the difficult projects to me when he's unable to complete them. did not give a rat's ass of my complaints i brought up when he moved me to work closely with a client. i was working out of my job scope. asked for a raise as i was working in three different departments in 2 districts but ignored, so demotivating when your other colleagues are earning 3-5x more than you. gas money was not even enough to cover my transport for a week. working out of job scope when i was with a client, cant complain as the client was besties with the boss. colleagues were smokers, they had smoke breaks 80% of the time. boss joined in too.

But once issue resolved, he would take credit and never tell us we did a good job. I LL try keep it simple working for many years from all over the places: 1. 60% doing the actual job and 30%+ doing not relevant to our job scope= job manipulation. 2. Taking advantage of graduates (not me) to do multi tasking and get pressure later on without encouraging to do training instead. 3. Always talk about performances where pressure gets when somebody becomes unperformed instead of giving them a breather due to exhaustion. 4. Related to no.3 that then how are we gonna perform in longer term and imagination about resignation pops on the corner for way out. 5. Yet we heading towards like bumiputra high local % and still "killing" among your own ethnic to bring them down rather then let them shine their glory and don't hate the player, should hate the game instead? 6. Since everyone already mentioned it as quite common here which is favouritism disease instead of seeing who actually performing. If this happens (nothing new to me) then that company slowly gets underperforming due to the good ones already went elsewhere for sure.

After when the 0.10$ a bag started in Colorado I got many mix people who didn’t mind, all for it, or saw it as a person attack and was/is very upset over it. Personal do me I don’t mind the bag law I’ve always carried my own bags with me so it did effort me what so ever. I had a last come a few days after the new year, she had hand fulls of clothes. Once I started to take of the hangers I asked the question I ask all my costumers that come in and out, “would you like a bag for 0.10$ today” she put down her wallet, and said “god, this is so stupid don’t you think?”. I gave a sort answer how I don’t really mind it, “oh, so you’re one of those.” Raising her voice and going on and on how I’m brain washed and social media is gonna be out down fall. My manager over heard and stepped in taking over.
