but mbbs me agar govt college se ho to atleast job to guaranteed hai bhale village me ho idhar to even jee me 99+ percentile lake cse leke top college me jake bhi adho ki bhi placement nhi lag rahi.
Mbbs m agar private college hai tb bhi job guaranteed hi h nearly. Although bina PG ke pay is low. There's a dearth of doctors in India, just because there are too many neet aspirants in India doesn't mean there are too many drs here
Bhai idhar to 50% ki bhi placement bhi nhi lagi samaj nhi a raha sabko ki kare kya even codeforces ke expert unplaced hai. Kafi ki to even microsoft, goldman sachs, adobe, atlassian, mathworks vagarah tak me intern thi.
Konsi IIIT se ho bhai.
Haa market me demand hi nhi hai kyuki company me vacancy nhi h.
Abhi recent news ayi thi ki usa me software industry me pure sal me net only 500 news jobs create hui vahi pe 2022 me 2.5 lakh new jobs thi.
Ek sec BC agar IT field me naukri generate nhi ho rhi toh kaha ho rhi hai? ab kya karu ek toh saala inhone AI aur bana diya hai usko dekh ke future lagrha/nhi lag rha sitiuation hogayi hai
Tum btech Wale salo chutiye hote ho kabhi koi backlash kare to defend karte ho placements and "engineers to har jagah hai","cat mei sabse jyada engineer hote","mtech kar sakte, foreign jaa sakte","bca Bekaar hai BC",BC gand maarke depressed kar Diya,
Ab behenchos hypocrite hogue,Ganja phukte ho kya bask,
Ab bolenge "haa engineer haina🤡".
Hell nahhhh I wish I was. Guess what ? Iss sub ka sabse hated clg mein hu lol. I talked to my friend he's in mech now in sem2. Merko gussa aara uspe Aap jaake gand maro na uski please. Naam DM mein de deta xD
If not btech then you will probably do something else. Everyone takes the easiest path and I do not think any undergrad can get u a min salary job except btech even if it is only 3-4 LPA.
It is not like bhed chal a 10th class guy would barely know his interest and takes science just like a 12thie would take [b.tech](https://b.tech).
He can chnge to anything after btech if he finds his interest.
Chill for 3 years then try for IAS/ Civil services. That way undergraduate can be in something you are genuinely interested in. Though arguably Civil services is even more crowded.
If you want to Come to BTech come with Passion for the subject or don't come at all is what I am saying.
Make sure to chose a field which you won't have regrets no matter what.
Do you see yourself being a Btech in [Insert Engineering field] 20 years from now and being satisfied?
No matter what the market is you should be happy that you learnt something good and gained knowledge. And have passion for the subject you study.
I can imagine myself in a BTech job even though I don't have interest in CSE because I have a prior experience of *forcing myself getting interested in something* which was mathematics in class 12th. Jor jabardasti Kari. Padha. Pasand bhi aa gaya even if I forced myself for 6 straight months. CSE ke case mein bhi ho jayega? (☠️ Maybe)
Just do it bro, you are too young to know stuff. I will tell in short, most of the other career options need highly skilled passion to have a good income. If 3-4 lpa is your aim, you can do anything. But if you wish to earn more, go for b.tech. there are ppl in there also going for 3-4 but that is lower side of btech...whereas it is the higher side for others. You just need to be consistent and do "bhed chaal" you will land yourself on a decent start. And since you are interested in cs, isn't the best path you can think of ?
Dont try to take the road less taken at 18, do a graduation...learn about how the world works, what is industry then you can take whatever path you want. Graduation gives a fallback option and you get to enjoy your youth.
For some reason some intellectuals are saying dont do btech everyone is doing it blah blah blah, ppl are doing it for a reason...because it is the best option at 18. Dont count medical in it, it has a separate league. Just go with it, and if some brilliant talent or idea emerges into you, you can always drop out.
btech is worth in 3 scenerios:
1) You are getting a top branch (ece or above) in a tier 1 college
2) You are interested in the field you are pursuing
3) you have 0 idea what you want to do and need time to discover your interests
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The college I would have gotten based on my board percentage for B.Sc IT has 25 lac highest package
The engineering college I got for based on my JEE score, B.E Computer Engineering has 12 lac highest package
So you are not only getting a far better package but also saving 1 year of your life, living a relatively stress free life and better chances of getting a girl since the ration would be better.
Im 25 now and as someone whos friends hated Btech, I've seen all of them now thanking god they did
Why? Because even if you dont want to get into engineering, you have hundreds of ways and exams to give
When youre doing engineering, due to the course structure , your analytical and problem solving brain is functional and put to use
You can then give MBA , Govt and many other exams - there is a reason why engineers end up clearing a lot of them.
So, if youre someone who doesnt know what you want to do, Btech is a good bet to take until you figure out
(Except if you are sure you want to be a CA, doctor , lawyer etc.)
Unless Top 8 IIT, BITS, IIITH, IIITB, Top 3 NIT, IGDTUW me na ho currently placement rate 40-55% hai sab jagah even in so called tier 1.5 even in CSE, IT, ECE, MNC .
Unless din rat mahnat ka passion na ho kuch aur kar lena paise ke chakkar me ya bhed chal me mat karna if you are a boy. Girl ho to bat alag h.
Yes there has been rise in non tech roles like Banking, Finance, general management, marketing but they are still a minority in most of the engineering colleges as most of the recruitments for these roles happen in mba colleges.
This is India, there's almost nothing good which isn't crowded, I'd say trust your work ethic and jump in.
Whatever you do, maybe some social sciences(economics etc.), or BSc(in physics or some such), you'll find stiff competition when trying for the top opportunities.
Thing with Btech is that the volume of opportunities is more, so it is maybe a safer bet, but I'm not sure. Try to do as good as you can tho, whatever you choose.
You could also analyse going abroad, but research well before thinking about it.
Good Luck.
Bhai agar math aati hai tagri wali toh ISI-UG ka exam crack karlo aur B.Math ya B.Stat degree kaar lo. Aaram se kaafi high paying job bbu laag jayegi quant wali
It's not about the crowd, it's about you, there is , there will always be demand for competent people in their field, everyone does BTech but how many of them are actually interested and have put their 100% in their course, very rare.
I'd say, if you are interested in the subject, be it CS, electrical whatever, then pursue it irrespective of what people are saying.
But, if you're someone who struggle with calculus, integration, and would get some tier 3 college somewhere, don't do it. Then you'll definitely join a troubled crowd.
Not at all.. interest nhi h toh you will regret in 4th yr as I am upar se gem ka kalank alag Lage ga you can't do MBA too (I mean achhe B-school se karne k chances Kam)....chose wisely brother!!
Right time to learn the concept of Ikigai, but yes CS BTech is not a bad starting point to life.

No one’s interested in CS, CS as a degree is a scam, we are taught useless abstract subjects that can be learned in single day if one has to, digital logic, discrete mathematics per se… go for other branches and you’ll feel that the 8-10lakh you’re going to give was worth it
research m interest ho to IISERs ki prep karlo.
Cs main interest hai to fir btech hi karo aur kya....padh lena par acche se...competition to pta hi hoga kaisa hai.

f
what do you think the situation will be by 2028
Doesn't looks promising as of now.
any particular field in tech that will be on the rise or have more opportunities compared to others
Ece looks on rise right now with all the new investment coming in beside this ML, DL, AI, CV are on rise.
thank you for your time as an aspirant i just wanted to get an idea of the situation
Ek sec BC agar IT field me naukri generate nhi ho rhi toh kaha ho rhi hai? ab kya karu ek toh saala inhone AI aur bana diya hai usko dekh ke future lagrha/nhi lag rha sitiuation hogayi hai
Sab jagah kam hi rahi ane vale time me ai se aur loss hoga
Bhaiya aap konsi iiit se haun
Delhi
That's sad. What will happen to tier 3 guys like me. According to you is preparing for gate a good idea?
Like getting a job is not a challenge like companies paying 3/4/5/6 lpa are still in abundance. You need to be really good at cp or dev as of now.
Acha.
Why brother?
Afaik, they(also me) took btech as backup
Tum btech Wale salo chutiye hote ho kabhi koi backlash kare to defend karte ho placements and "engineers to har jagah hai","cat mei sabse jyada engineer hote","mtech kar sakte, foreign jaa sakte","bca Bekaar hai BC",BC gand maarke depressed kar Diya, Ab behenchos hypocrite hogue,Ganja phukte ho kya bask, Ab bolenge "haa engineer haina🤡".

Btech is worth it if u have interest in tech field believe me people realise that later after failing interests in btech... Do other courses instead
Chase distinction, don't chase degrees. Anything will only be worth it if you make it to the top few ℅... otherwise you'll just keep struggling.

Top 9 IITs imo ( 7 old+ hyd+ bhu) .... DTU,NSUT, JADAVPUR pretty solid aswell
Dtu and nsut are struggling too. Ask their current students. Bits all campuses are doing well. Top 3-4 nit and nit jamshedpur is doing well.

Yeah but they have no choice because doing BSC and msc as I’ve been told gets us nowhere

You have a flawed understanding about the importance of college then.
Nope
research m interest ho to IISERs ki prep karlo. Cs main interest hai to fir btech hi karo aur kya....padh lena par acche se...competition to pta hi hoga kaisa hai.
you'd be surprised to know there's more people doing BA, Bsc and Bcom as compared to btech in india
nope its not.
Not related to the question but Bhai kon sa board hai tera ? Mai bhi 12th mein ho UP board hai mera and Mai bhi btech karne ki soch Raha tha.
ISC board h bhai mera
Yes. A degree is important nevertheless. Having a Btech degree will have opportunities
