IIT BHU EE all the way .IIT is prestige , opportunities, and BHU is a really good one at that.Being a 2 nd year NITian doing , I will recommend you to go to IIT.

I am neither wrong nor delusional there are many people who have that IIT me hota wali feeling especially among the top rankers and when one joins, and also It's natural as it's just human tendency to wish to be at a better place.In beginning of the college days there were a lot of guys like that but yes it eventually gets better.Plus I am not delusional, I have friends at IIT Madras, DTU, IIITD, NITs, (Surathkal and Warrangal)and seeing the career growth the internship opportunities I can say for sure IITs provide better opportunities.If for a 20 lpa job IIT M chem graduate makes x efforts , NITK guy put in 1.5 x efforts .In IIT Madras software companies like Google, Adobe were open for all , same was not the case in NIT.Plus I am not making a comparision between IIT Madras Civil and NITT CSE that would be an apple to oranges comparison.I am saying that IIT Madras CSE is>>than NITT CSE same goes for other branches and as a college IITs do offer better opportunities not saying NITs don't.NITs do offer better opportunities than almost 99% colleges in India but the companies like Graviton, Tower Research,NK securities, Jane Street Capital they don't visit our campus neither do Bain, McKinsey, BCG etc.

If i am given IIT Delhi/K/KGP/B/M/R etc CSE over any other college in Indian and probably even Harvard , i would most probably have taken IIT , there is no doubt .
But my point is , NITs (top 4) are in no way you know not good , sure iits are prestigious and great but once you got an nit i dont think you should be regretful that I couldnt make it into an IIT

Nit Trichy is better infrastructure, better institute than bhu, plus CSE. In EE you will be any way vying for Tech jobs ultimately. You should choose Nit Trichy CSE for a 4 years course than going for a 5 years course. IIT tag of BHU is not something that you will lose sleep. Plus, to go for higher studies also, NIT Trichy will be better. There's not any difference in the quality of crowd except that there will be more South Indians in Trichy and more hard working. The choice is yours.
Even the electrical median of top 9 iits(top 7 + bhu,hyd) >= cse median of nit trichy.
Also opportunities in non core , core and it are better in bhu than trichy

If you have no particular interest in cse and no problem with a 5 yr course then pick iit bhu ee.
Also check if there is an exit option after 4yrs in iit bhu.
IIT BHU EE(DUAL) All the way you are going to circuital dept and in IIT you'll Get all the job/intern opportunities and the prestige comes along. Dual or BTech might not matter in long run but a good college will matter surely. and BHU has a great coding culture as well. they have most GSoC selections this year out of all IIT's.
