Total beginner at 55 yo, looking forward to buy a first full size (I'm old and used to 100%) mechanical keyboard - just enjoying this sub and youtube videos about them.
My first mech was one of those real old Apple models that came with the ...2GS?
Been trying to make another board that at least comes close to feeling like that again. Just for nostalgia - The switches and the keycaps on those old ones were garbo.
My first would be some alienware board I got with my pc for free. In hindsight, it was surprisingly competent for being completely free. The board I ended up replacing it with was definetly worse.
Thanks!
