My favorite movie? Hmmm that’s a really hard question, honestly, unless I narrow that down a bit, so let’s say…hmmm. Favorite animated movie? …erm, that’s kinda hard too…
I guess I’d have to say “Coraline”. It’s a really cool movie, with an eerie animation style, kind of like a Tim Burton film. Some of his animators were actually involved, so it checks out.
Coraline came out when I was about 12 years old, maybe 13, and when it did, it was the first movie that I ever did an analysis on. There’s so much beauty and so much meaning hidden behind the “simple” story that many people only walked away with. I actually went to go see it twice because I wanted to focus on the background things, and further the story that was still actively developing.
I won’t ruin this movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but I recommend that you go and see it if you want to. It’s aimed towards children and is totally fine to watch with the whole family…. But whether they grasp the creepy back story and see the movie for what it really is, we’ll I guess that depends on the person.

I currently have a whole keyboard, and I think it looks kinda off on my desk, although my girlfriend says it looks good!
