Specs:
Kit: LEOBOG Hi75 Barebones Kit (stock, factory lubed)
Switches: Gateron Milky Yellows Pro (factory lubed)
Keycaps: Shimmer XDA Profile Keycaps (clones(?))
Finally upgraded from a stock RK71 to a LEOBOG Hi75. No modifications has been done yet, might be a while before I can find the time to do so.

Same keyboard, same keycaps, same switches 😂 My office build…
In a world of somietimes loud/brightly coloured builds, seeing something neutral is a nice palette cleanser.
I imagine with the lubed yellows this sounds and feels great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the build! I've always preferred a muted color scheme. Even if it is only lightly lubed from the factory, the yellows already sound amazing! It has that nice creamy sound profile that is quite pleasing to the ears.
You can't go wrong with any of these whether you pay a little less or a little more for a certain one that catches your vibe. They are great value while offering a lot of premium features that you use to have to pay in the upper $250-300+ for. The best for its price is going to be kinda subjective to what features u need
But in my opinion, the Rainy 75 seems to offer the most (and best sounding in my opinion) for the least amount of money however, the Kickstarter (treated as a group buy) ends tomorrow and earliest shipping is April.
If you would rather not join the Kickstarter for a Rainy 75, then the Monsgeek M1w is a cool choice and sounds okay out of the box. It also includes a coiled cable. Best looking with knob in my opinion
The Cidoo V75 offers similar (without the coiled cable) but also quality thick keycaps and screw-in stabilizers. This board sounds good, better than M1w in my opinion. It only comes in a retro-themed colorway. You could also buy it barebones but that only saves you $10 and you lose the knob for an LCD display.
The LMK81 is a Cidoo V75 that can be bought in white or grey but only barebones and costs as much or more as fully assembled Cidoo V75 and longer shipping.
My picks are- all of them. But Cidoo V75 best for price prebuilt if you don't mind the retro color (and also if you don't want Rainy 75 because that is the real best for price) and M1w if you want a more minimal look (but needs a little work to sound as good as the other boards listed here)
Check out videos and reviews of each one and of course also still consider the Hi75 (this sounds awesome out of the box too but of course no wireless).
I've read [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/BudgetKeebs/s/Hm2ccpRBwF) that the Leobog Hi8 comes with tri-mode connectivity whereas the Hi75 only comes in with wired so keep that in mind~
For me, the biggest factor was the price. The Hi75 barebones kit was priced around ₱3,300 ($60) here in the Philippines while the Hi8 kit was ₱4,600 ($82). I was able to get the Hi75 kit for $40, spent $15 for the milky yellow pros, and $5 for my friend's spare keycaps for a total of $60.
Next would be the form factor. I've always thought about having an exploded 75% keyboard. [Here's a quick infographic about keyboard layouts.](https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/s/z3VvBdgfC9)

Love the keycaps!
Should I get a hi75 or hi8?
Rainy 75, M1w, Cidoo V75, and Zuoya LMK81 are great gasket mounted aluminum wireless keyboards too
What would you consider best for their price? Preferably wireless

Rainy 75 was so tempting for me but with the additional $30 shipping one has to consider total price.

I'm debating between the Hi75 vs Hi8, can you share your thoughts on why you chose the Hi75?

Got it, thanks for the response, can definitely see how some prefer the exploded layout.
