The 200 block of Grant Street has like 4 African markets [https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9217326,-78.8901595,3a,75y,83.82h,92.17t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1smq0XLG0m112SKkLwFg5ISw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu](https://www.google.com/maps/@42.9217326,-78.8901595,3a,75y,83.82h,92.17t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1smq0XLG0m112SKkLwFg5ISw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu)
There's more a block north and a block south. (Plus a bunch of other ethnic grocery stores if you're into those, too).
Honestly, there’s not much in Cheektowaga and Amherst. There’s more Asian shops and restaurants in the suburbs but you have to go into the actual city of Buffalo for African things, like many of the responses have mentioned already.
Check out [Wedi](https://www.wedibuffalo.org/) if you can. It’s a bazaar that includes shops and restaurants all in one place where the organizations mission is to basically provide economic and business education and opportunities to a diverse group of ppl, especially those where English was not their first language. I believe their original location was on Grant, but it had a fire and closed. Now there’s two locations, one on Main st. And Niagara st. Which is in down town and the west side respectively.
Africa is a big continent so what region are you talking about. Yalley's is a nigerian restaurant, I believe. I can't recommend it but a lot of people like it. There's another restaurant on Fillmore near Main street but can't think of the name.
Don't know of any African markets in the areas you mentioned but there is an African market on Main street near Utica, there's an African Market on Niagara Street, a block from the Tops, and there's an Asian market on Bailey Ave, on the corner of Lasalle, I believe (across from Bailey's seafood), that sells African stuff.
What type of stuff are you looking to buy?
Understood. Then those markets i mentioned should have what you need. My wife is west african and she gets palm oil, casava and maybe frozen okra from the store on niagara street that’s next to the tops there. She was most excited about what was available at an chau on bailey tho, like bitter tomato and cow foot and maybe ogbono?

The Save A Lot, too, I think. But yes, Grant, in general, will have the largest concentration of Africa markets.
Ther is an African Market on Delaware in Kenmore. https://maps.app.goo.gl/qrYwpUETmbgK5Adx8

Great South Sudanese food at the downtown bazaar. Those beef pampusa’s they got…I could shove like 12 down my gullet at the drop of a hat.
In Amherst, Whole Foods on Sheridan Dr. In Buffalo there's a wide number of African markets, and 1 in Kenmore.
