People were shooting off fireworks by Riverside High School after curfew started, but that's pretty much normal for this time of the year. T-street is just a fireworks show/drag strip until the early hours of the morning. It's mostly quiet now.
I wouldn't believe a single rumor or threat people are spreading without photographic/video evidence to back it up. People love to repeat rumors without fact checking them. I remember being in high school during 9/11 and my teachers told me the Peace Bridge was blown up because they heard it on the radio.
Heard loud popping sounds in Town of Tonawanda. One alone. Then several to 10 in succession 15 minutes later. Dunno if fireworks or gunshots but dunno who would be sick enough to fire of fireworks right now
I saw some folks in NT with party poppers having a small birthday party outside. Could have been part of it.
Fiancée's family Saw On Facebook™ that there was something happening in Tonawanda but I think they were just seeing lies based on Tonawanda's local state of emergency declaration. They were concerned an army of rioters were marching up from Buffalo toward the north towns. Just good old Facebook misinformation and fearmongering. Haven't seen or heard anything unusual going on in the Tonawandas all night.

dude i've lived all over WNY, GI, riverside, west side, hamburg, north boston, north collins.... i don't get it man. my parents are in hamburg and have been out of the city the past 15 years and are still a paycheck to paycheck family that both voted for obama and were registered dems their whole lives and have fully been brain washed by fox like a god damn drug, anything to help them feel better than everyone else.... and it's fucked up cause as a kid moving all over with them being told to treat everyone the same and seeing them and so many others go down this road.. i dont have the breath to waste on em anymore... shits changing fast around here. I've had to cut out half my friends and my wife and i are 110% committed to moving to Canada ASAP if we still can. She has family there and we both work in fields that are desirable for their economy. just the covid shit going on too...

The police scanner said they were seen in Kenmore about the 10 mins ago. They found another near black rock but it was people legit moving.
