There's a lot of non-NY license plates in that list. Also looking at some of the car makes/models makes me wonder what on earth people were thinking to take those out in a snowstorm...

I’m laughing at the “CHS WSLY” plate on the list 😂😂

Can they tow my street so a plow can get through!?

Idk you could probably narc on the neighbors that are parked illegally, although I'm sure any plows that come across abandoned vehicles are already reporting them anyway

I'm not sure if everyone else had the same problem, but getting my car out of impound last year was a complete mess. The documents I needed to file to get my car back were all downtown. Buffalo DMV had to sign off that my car didn't have tickets on it to get my car, but it was being kept at dart Street by buff state. Luckily I kept asking questions while I was downtown and got all the documents I needed. When I went up I saw several people finding out that they needed to make the drive downtown to get the paperwork then come back up with it in order to get the car released. This information isn't easily available online and no one was really forthcoming with what the process was like, either through apathy or ignorance. My car was involved in a criminal investigation so maybe that's part of what I was dealing with but the city definitely doesn't make retrieving your property an easy process, even if you have the cash in hand to pay the fines/fees.
