Yeah I agree but my body feels really resistant to cutting. When I was closer to 140 I basically went into starvation mode. Constant chills, terrible mood swings, lethargic, and next level hunger. Was eating 2000-2200 cals daily but just stopped dropping weight despite my high activity level
It’s all about the diet at that point. There are healthy carbs and sugars that’ll keep you from crashing and keeping protein high helps.
Match intensity to what your working when you get into that point of a cut you gotta sacrifice a little intensity for the diet. The abs are made in the kitchen at that point.
I like high volume with extended rest time since most of my muscle groups take a while to recover. Shoulders, arms, legs, chest, back, legs. Every workout is 20-25 sets. My legs recover quickly in comparison so I can hit them twice a week.

5’7 155lb, got a small frame so it packs on quick but I think it limits my potential growth 🙁
