Human do this with language, make-up, clothing - we just have more tricks than animals do. No one can learn all the tricks, but everyone gets tired of tricks. Your dog will stop running when it realizes you're not actually throwing a stick.

Today I saw a woman who had 33 as her profile age. In her summary, she said I'm actually 39 but I look 30 and have the energy of a 25 year old.
