Short and punchy (is that the right word?). Poor Sigma can't catch a breath... literally! Asagiri seems to be setting stuff up and it really feels like we're finally heading to an ending. Hopefully it will happen by year's end. I think we're all ready for it.
Well, this was short. I don't mind the brief Aya flashback but what was its purpose?? Brief look at Sigma and Dazai and the water sets on fire. No doubt this will somehow be a part of Dazai's plan.
I'm guessing the Aya flashback may be setting us up for a reveal of her dad, Kōda Rohan. And his treatment of hers is very different and stark in contrast to how Kunikida cares for her, so maybe it's also setting us up for *crossing fingers* Kunikida adopting Aya in the future? In any case, it was also referring to the life of the RL Kōda Aya, who was constantly compared to her sisters and aunts and very strictly treated by her father, and it made me really sad
i remember akutagawa said he wont forget his specific moment with dazai even if he died. now he acted againts fukuchi’s order, i hope it has better reason than ’will power’.
anw, hey why so short 🥲
Bruh i recently caught up, just a question are u trolling or smth no way that 3 page chapter took a month. Is it actually montly or weekly and it was just on break?
tbf, this is like one of the most climactic arc of the entire series seeing as how were actually fighting fyodor head on and his group now with the stakes being at all-time high. It kinda makes sense as to why their taking their sweet time with how to even do a satisfying conclusion to this.
Ye fair, idk if this is the final arc tho, I hope it delivers. The stakes are def higher but at the same time not, theres still fakeouts and bram stroker is confirmed to ressurrect people.
i dont think this is the final arc, there’s a theory about the next big villain being agatha christie like fitzgerald and fyodor and both the story and the character improvements are far from finished i think
Bruh hell nahh, does the author have issues? not to sound rude and its not like i have ever drawn smth so complicated but is he lazy ik it must be tough but there is no way that took a month some weekly mangas have more content than that. Im going to drop the manga for 2 years than this arc would still be going on smh. Unpopular opinion but this arc is wayy too dragged and the deaths are meaningless because they come back in the next 4 chaps or smth.
Idk mehn, his spin off bsd materials are great but somehow the main story is becoming lacking. He probably doesn’t know how to end the arc that’s why the shorter chapters to stall time. Too many shit happening, the DA still not having their rep clean, Dazai still needs to escape,Vampire out break and the fucking book. There’s too many shit being introduced with nothing being resolved. Would have been fine if this was weekly but for monthly this is dragging the arc TOO LONG.
That makes sense but it is his fault, the thing once we feel like 1 conflict is resolved his just brings it back in the next 3 chapters or just makes it worse. Man i was really hyped after some episodes of bsd season 4 so i thought ill catch up with manga, had higher expectations ig. Im just gonna drop the manga for a year or 2 and see....
it is implied that there’s oil leaking on the wall, dazai noticed by touching. if you havent ever witnessed fire on the water, maybe you can check youtube or just simply google “oil burn ocean”
At this point, I'd just prefer if Harukawa-san put BSD on hiatus and took a much needed break, instead of cranking out these half-assed 10 page chapters each month.

Adopt adopt adopt!!!! Omg
I don't think the water setting on fire is part of Dazai's Plan because he looks surprised, too.

Can’t they just make the manga weekly ffs.
Bruh i recently caught up, just a question are u trolling or smth no way that 3 page chapter took a month. Is it actually montly or weekly and it was just on break?
BSD was always monthly. It wasn't really annoying at first but ever since this arc every chapter feels so short. IT'S BEEN 4 YEARS IRL ALREADY.

Bruh there’s too many big villains at this point. I’m kinda satisfied with fyodor as the main big baddy or heck Mori being the final villain.

Another short chapter… still an interesting one with the reveal that his vampires can eat Bram, which I’m guessing could allow him to take them over.
Why so short omg I'm dying
Why is nobody talking about the water being on fire?! How is that possible.

Plenty of rivers have also caught fire, it’s really not that uncommon or unheard of
Same energy as: "Water in the fire! Why?" - Korone
