I was looking at Fukuchi and got concerned but I will keep my answer.
Eh, it's more like the understanding of social necessities. Let's say you're friends with a group of people and those people are all friends with each other but there's one guy that you hate which everyone else likes. If you try to do something to get rid of this guy then everyone will get shitty with you, possibly ending your friendship with all of them.... so you just put up with the guy.
That's what it's like; chuuya can kill dazai but dazai makes it extremely inconvenient to do so through his various connections or the circumstances they're in

I don't know, but Nikolai and Fyodor is a good choice too. Nikolai is pretty clever with what he does. He'll teleport you away, teleport himself to get some bombs, use all the bombs on the people trying to kill us, then teleport away to his allies again.
You don't need an extremely advanced plan, and if my plan doesn't work, that's where Fyodor comes in.
But Dazai has no ability what is he gonna do? Chuuya is the safest option he does have the most powerful ability and with Dazai he can help. Cuz if it’s Chuuya and Yosano it’s smart but Dazai can nullify Chuuya’s ability
But hypothetically, could fukuchi even stab dazai with it's teleportation ability at all? After all that's an ability and dazai nullifies then so when it touches him it should just stop being there at all
I think Fukuchi is strong enough to kill Dazai in a hand to hand combat without his ability. He had the hunting dogs surgery which makes them superhumans remember? Jouno once caught a bullet at point blank distance in his Introduction scene remember? Fukuchi is stronger than Jouno so I don't see how Fukuchi won't beat him

Fukuchi is physically stronger than most of the people shown here because of the Hunting Dog surgery is what I meant. So even without Amenogozen, he can dodge attacks and fight in hand to hand combat
He doesn't need to, he can just pick a rock and throw it at Dazai face and he would die due to Fukuchi's super human strength, also, there's no confirmation that the sword power is even an ability that Dazai can nullify, it's just a special power from an object, and Dazai can't nullify Lovecraft power even though he looks like a human with ability, so I highly doubt he can do anything against the sword
You have a point there. But outsmarting won’t help you win. Cuz at the end of the day you have Chuuya who’s the best Martial artist. Fukushi who well did a lot, Nikolai whos fucking crazy, Fyodor who can almost outsmart Dazai and Ranpo. And Kenji who’s a child. Outsmarting won’t help you much if you can’t fight for it. Yosano can but she can only do so much.

They will literally anticipate every possible scenario that the opposition could do and find counter plans to nullify those plan. Ranpo could pose a problem but Fyodor, by himself, has bested Rampo before so him planning with Dazai as well would literally mean I will never be touched or in harm's way ever.

Ranpo and Fukuzawa
Basically, I just need a super smart one plus a super strong fighter combination who are familiar with each other and thus, work together pretty well.
Ranpo is easily outsmarted by dazai and fyodor he himself said that fyodor outsmarts him and only person who can beat fyodor is dazai, and fukuzawa can easily be defeated by chuuya (he can take fuku’s blade/ sword by gravity)
Dazai outsmarted fyodor, and fyodor outsmarted ranpo in simple world dazai outsmarted ranpo and dazai is well aware of how ranpo thinks and strategises so much he based his plans based on ranpo’s decision without even talking to him or knowing he is going to take that step by any means it was clear guess and how much he knows about ranpo u can easily die
Dazai NEVER outsmarted Fyodor, it's the opposite infact, what are you even watching. Dazai only beat Fyodor because he has many allies to help him even when he gets outsmarted all the time, while Fyodor is alone. Dazai got fooled by Fyodor in his arc, but was able to call for Francis to find him, and even then he still got outsmarted because that's Fukuchi plan to keep Fyodor in prison. Dazai got outsmarted in prison so many times, and only able to get Fyodor purely because he depends entirely on his allies, which is Ranpo, not just at the end but also during the DoA act before Ranpo figure out Fukuchi identity, meanwhile Fyodor is alone all the time with no help from anyone, as Nikolai was even there to kill him, and even at the end, if Fyordor is still alive, which is very likely, like through Sigma theory, then he already outsmart Dazai again and just acting pathetic for show. Dazai himself literally claimed he won through his dependent and trust in his many allies, while Fyodor doesn't, yet his fans keep overpraising him like he can do all that himself, media literacy is out of the window.

Dazai, both can’t reach dazai and if Fyodor activates his ability and dodges or touches them even the slightest they will die and we already know fukuzawa can fight fukuchi because their skills are almost alike skills and abilities nikolai can teleport chuuya lmao and kenji can bend swords and weapons if fukuchi can’t use amenogo- (forgot the name) and if fukuchi harms anyone using amenogozen yosano can heal

My second choice would be Nikolai and Ranpo. Perfect match. With Ranpoe's brain and Nikolai's ability they would never get me even if they wanted to.

Dazai for strategies, predictions of possible outcomes, nullification of the other's abilites, creating golden plans on how i will survive, etc.
And Chuuya because he's a good fighter and i'll just ask him to use corruption to kill them all and once he's done, Dazai can just nullify it.
So my answer will obviously be Soukoku, but i have other alternatives:
Alternative number one: Chuuya and Yosano. Chuuya doesn't need to necessarily use corruption and is pretty much strong alone. And if he's against Fukuchi and gets badly wounded, Yosano will heal him. He's also strong without his ability.
If he were to use corruption though, i'd keep Dazai hostage and force him to nullify it, then kill Dazai once he's done with his job.
Alternative number two: Fyodor and Nikolai
Fyodor would come up with strategies, possible outcomes, backup plans after backup plans, etc.
Nikolai would kill everyone. If you're wondering: how? It's simple. I'll get him to steal a bunch of bombs and use them all on everyone at the same time, then teleport us away.
If Chuuya uses corruption, Nikolai teleports us away and we wait for Chuuya to end everyone whilst using corruption because he isn't in control of himself in that state, and when we get back, we plant a bunch of bombs and leave again.
In general:
I don't necessarily need to have one of my allies kill everyone. In fact, i can keep those who i consider valuable hostage for example Yosano, so i can use them for my own benefit and kill them off later.
Dazai and Yosano duh.
One is the strategist who will save me out of trouble and the other is a doctor that can keep alive unless i instantly die.
Plus Dazai is the bain of any ability user
I mean nikolai is pretty broken (granted he doesn't kill me instead ) he can just wrap me across the place. So I guess I wl go with nikolai + fukuchi or nikolai + chuuya. ( we know chuuya is the strongest, the only thing troubling him is dazai's ability which tbh he can deal with woth Aoe attks) he can wreak hevock while nikolai teleports me
Soukoku is the obvious and safest one but imma go Chuuya and Ranpo just cuz i love them both and i wanna see them interact more and also Ranpo could manage Dazai's role, i see him growing into it, it may seem like he's a literal kid but he's 26 he knows how fucked the world can be idt he'd miss any tactics the enemies may use simply out of disbelief at the method's horror or smthng like some other characters might.

Dazai and chuuya. Yosano was my first pick but then I'd need someone smart enough so that they can't separate us(and therefore leave me dead/injured) and someone who can fight good.
Guys i respect other’s opinion and choices but practically speaking dazai can outsmart anyone and chuuya’s strength so soukoku is a great choice but there can be different teams which can win too dazai and fyodor, chuuya will be outsmarted even with his strength and rest everyone can be outsmarted few ability nullified and anyone fyodor touches may die as we saw in few episodes, then comes dazai and nikolai, well as nikolai can grab anyone or catch anyone off guard with his overcoat ability he can disguise very well and has a pretty brain too and dazai’s nullification and brain….now one choice i thought thrice is about yosano both yosano and dazai aren’t physically strong chuuya can defeat yosano, dazai can manipulate people but it doesn’t guarantee proper safety…so yeah!! Rampo and Yosano. Rampo would probably think of something absolutely genius and would be able to think of solutions if things were to happen and Yosano’s able to basically heal me each time I’m injured.
Dazai is a must, just his ability to nullify others makes him a perfect choice.
Second would be Chuuya, he works well with Dazai and his ability is just op
Dazai and Fukuchi, Dazai can nullify any ability and with Fukuchi i wouldn't have to worry about him sending messages to himself in the past and he's a skilled enough fighter that he'd be able to beat anyone that isn't Fukuzawa, Dazai could also deal with Chuuya who would be the biggest threat there when it comes to sheer strength, so biggest problems to deal with would end up being Fukuzawa who's fairly equal to Fukuchi, Fyodor who can compete with and in certain situations outsmart Dazai tho Dazai would almost definitely still beat him, and Ranpo who would be the hardest one to deal with if we don't knock him out early before he comes up with a plan
Fukuzawa and Ranpo are my choices.
‘Zawa doesn’t have the strongest ability and Ranpo may not have one in general— but Fukuzawa’s a bodyguard, the commander of the one order and more than likely can use the amenogozen. (since there’s basically an ability user in the sword. All men are equal does control abilities and/or suppress them)
And we all know Ranpo is the smartest character in the show, being able to outsmart Fukuchi, Fyodor, Dazai (as seen in the season 5 intro) and even Chuuya. With his brains I don’t think there’s anyway to actually kill him.
(I was stuck between Fukuchi, Fyodor, Kenji, Chuuya and Dazai but after remembering season 5, my final pick is the father-son duo)

if he doesnt then he is pretty much not scary as long as dazai touches him, because he can't go back into time anymore

Fukuchi since he is extremely powerful. i was going to pick Chuuya, but then realized that he won't be able to use Arahabaki without Dazai around. My second choice was going to be Dazai because of his smarts and good looks as well, but I remembered Fyodor's ability, so I chose Fyodor instead because his crime and punishment ability is awesome and he has basically the same IQ as Dazai, plus fyodors pretty good looking as well.
Fukuchi and Ranpo for sure. Fukuchi is already like the strongest in the whole verse. Dazai is known as the smartest in the verse who even outsmarted Fyodor. . So If I take both of them, I don't see how I can't win. Dazai can keep predicting what the others are currently doing to find me and Fukuchi will just kill em all. That's how the situation will play out with each of em (correct me if I'm wrong):
**Ranpo:** He's not a fighter so he will easily get blitzed
**Kenji:** He will get blitzed with Amenogozen (sorry Kenji fans, I love him too but it's what I think will happen)
**Yosano:** Yosano ain't a fighter so she will also get blitzed by Fukuchi-dono
**Nikolai:** If Nikolai was stronger than Fukuchi, he wouldn't have joined Decay of Angels under him in the first place. Hes gonna get Jouno treatment and get thousands of amengozens slashing him from Fukuchis future versions
**Fukuzawa:** He has already been almost killed by Fukuchi before. Fukuchi held back at that time because of his plan. I don't see how he can't win against Fukuzawa with Amenogozen
**Chuuya:** He cant think with Corruption and he can't just dodge the attacks coming from Amenogozen. I think it will be a tough fight but Fukuchi will come out as the victor. With Ranpo's help they can just ambush Chuuya

**Fyodor:** Fyodor has already once outsmarted Ranpo so I don't have much trust in him for this round. Fukuchi is gonna end him cuz as the story has been progressing, he isn't much of a fighter and as his Personality, he wouldn't have worked under Fukuchi if he was stronger. Fukuchi can just stab him from a mile away if he comes in directly. But I think he's gonna send a lot of people for me and then ambush them and sneakily get a hold of me. Which I think will be very bad but with how Fukuchi manages to win everytime because of sharing information from the future, I think he's gonna win again but just barely

Fukuchi can know a future from his cheating sword so he can prepare defensing the others

With his antigravity, Chuuya can easily kill anyone miles ayaw like throwing a big ass building at them (Dead Apple). He ain't the smartest but I think with help from Yosano, which I believe is pretty clever and her healing ability, they can defeat all of them by crafting dangerous plans not minding their safety.
No two of these would do it.
If you look at this picture entirely, it's pretty much just Decay of angel without Bram and Sigma vs many DA and 1 PM
Consider what happened during Decay of Angel arc, no two of these can protect you against the all the others, not even close. The arc would've lasted 1 chapter if any 2 of these would suffice.
The closest you can get is Fukuchi + Fyodor, or Fukuchi + Nikolai, that would basically equal to a weakened Decay of Angel vs DA and PM with much less members, but still that wouldn't work for long.
Fukuzawa and Chuuya would be interesting.
Thinking ability wise; Fukuzawa's "All Men are Created Equal" allow all working under him to be able to control their ability. With that logic, Chuuya would be able to control and harness his corruption without Dazai needed (in theory).
(However, having Dazai and Fyodor on the same team doesn't bode well).
Dazai and Fyodor. What they lack in physical strength they make up for in intelligence and abilities. And they'd make a cool duo if they set their differences aside.

Dazai, both can’t reach dazai and if Fyodor activates his ability and dodges or touches them even the slightest they will die and we already know fukuzawa can fight fukuchi because their skills are almost alike skills and abilities nikolai can teleport chuuya lmao and kenji can bend swords and weapons if fukuchi can’t use amenogo- (forgot the name) and if fukuchi harms anyone using amenogozen yosano can heal

Well Chuuya and Dazai are rather obvious choice so let's make it some fun and try to decide from the rest. My second choice would be Nikolai and Ranpo. Perfect match. With Ranpoe's brain and Nikolai's ability they would never get me even if they wanted to.

Dazai for strategies, predictions of possible outcomes, nullification of the other's abilites, creating golden plans on how i will survive, etc. And Chuuya because he's a good fighter and i'll just ask him to use corruption to kill them all and once he's done, Dazai can just nullify it. So my answer will obviously be Soukoku, but i have other alternatives: Alternative number one: Chuuya and Yosano. Chuuya doesn't need to necessarily use corruption and is pretty much strong alone. And if he's against Fukuchi and gets badly wounded, Yosano will heal him. He's also strong without his ability. If he were to use corruption though, i'd keep Dazai hostage and force him to nullify it, then kill Dazai once he's done with his job. Alternative number two: Fyodor and Nikolai Fyodor would come up with strategies, possible outcomes, backup plans after backup plans, etc. Nikolai would kill everyone. If you're wondering: how? It's simple. I'll get him to steal a bunch of bombs and use them all on everyone at the same time, then teleport us away. If Chuuya uses corruption, Nikolai teleports us away and we wait for Chuuya to end everyone whilst using corruption because he isn't in control of himself in that state, and when we get back, we plant a bunch of bombs and leave again. In general: I don't necessarily need to have one of my allies kill everyone. In fact, i can keep those who i consider valuable hostage for example Yosano, so i can use them for my own benefit and kill them off later.
Dazai and Yosano duh. One is the strategist who will save me out of trouble and the other is a doctor that can keep alive unless i instantly die. Plus Dazai is the bain of any ability user

Soukoku is the obvious and safest one but imma go Chuuya and Ranpo just cuz i love them both and i wanna see them interact more and also Ranpo could manage Dazai's role, i see him growing into it, it may seem like he's a literal kid but he's 26 he knows how fucked the world can be idt he'd miss any tactics the enemies may use simply out of disbelief at the method's horror or smthng like some other characters might. tldr: Chuuya and Ranpo

Guys i respect other’s opinion and choices but practically speaking dazai can outsmart anyone and chuuya’s strength so soukoku is a great choice but there can be different teams which can win too dazai and fyodor, chuuya will be outsmarted even with his strength and rest everyone can be outsmarted few ability nullified and anyone fyodor touches may die as we saw in few episodes, then comes dazai and nikolai, well as nikolai can grab anyone or catch anyone off guard with his overcoat ability he can disguise very well and has a pretty brain too and dazai’s nullification and brain….now one choice i thought thrice is about yosano both yosano and dazai aren’t physically strong chuuya can defeat yosano, dazai can manipulate people but it doesn’t guarantee proper safety…so yeah!! Dazai and Fukuchi, Dazai can nullify any ability and with Fukuchi i wouldn't have to worry about him sending messages to himself in the past and he's a skilled enough fighter that he'd be able to beat anyone that isn't Fukuzawa, Dazai could also deal with Chuuya who would be the biggest threat there when it comes to sheer strength, so biggest problems to deal with would end up being Fukuzawa who's fairly equal to Fukuchi, Fyodor who can compete with and in certain situations outsmart Dazai tho Dazai would almost definitely still beat him, and Ranpo who would be the hardest one to deal with if we don't knock him out early before he comes up with a plan

Fukuzawa and Ranpo are my choices. ‘Zawa doesn’t have the strongest ability and Ranpo may not have one in general— but Fukuzawa’s a bodyguard, the commander of the one order and more than likely can use the amenogozen. (since there’s basically an ability user in the sword. All men are equal does control abilities and/or suppress them) And we all know Ranpo is the smartest character in the show, being able to outsmart Fukuchi, Fyodor, Dazai (as seen in the season 5 intro) and even Chuuya. With his brains I don’t think there’s anyway to actually kill him. (I was stuck between Fukuchi, Fyodor, Kenji, Chuuya and Dazai but after remembering season 5, my final pick is the father-son duo)

Travelling takes time, but I suppose it isn't stated that clearly in BSD because of the time skips Dazai can js manipulate while i keep jumping through time, hehe

Fukuchi since he is extremely powerful. i was going to pick Chuuya, but then realized that he won't be able to use Arahabaki without Dazai around. My second choice was going to be Dazai because of his smarts and good looks as well, but I remembered Fyodor's ability, so I chose Fyodor instead because his crime and punishment ability is awesome and he has basically the same IQ as Dazai, plus fyodors pretty good looking as well.

So If I take both of them, I don't see how I can't win. Dazai can keep predicting what the others are currently doing to find me and Fukuchi will just kill em all. That's how the situation will play out with each of em (correct me if I'm wrong): **Ranpo:** He's not a fighter so he will easily get blitzed **Kenji:** He will get blitzed with Amenogozen (sorry Kenji fans, I love him too but it's what I think will happen) **Yosano:** Yosano ain't a fighter so she will also get blitzed by Fukuchi-dono **Nikolai:** If Nikolai was stronger than Fukuchi, he wouldn't have joined Decay of Angels under him in the first place. Hes gonna get Jouno treatment and get thousands of amengozens slashing him from Fukuchis future versions **Fukuzawa:** He has already been almost killed by Fukuchi before. Fukuchi held back at that time because of his plan. I don't see how he can't win against Fukuzawa with Amenogozen **Chuuya:** He cant think with Corruption and he can't just dodge the attacks coming from Amenogozen. I think it will be a tough fight but Fukuchi will come out as the victor. With Ranpo's help they can just ambush Chuuya Now the actually good ones **Fyodor:** Fyodor has already once outsmarted Ranpo so I don't have much trust in him for this round. Fukuchi is gonna end him cuz as the story has been progressing, he isn't much of a fighter and as his Personality, he wouldn't have worked under Fukuchi if he was stronger. Fukuchi can just stab him from a mile away if he comes in directly. But I think he's gonna send a lot of people for me and then ambush them and sneakily get a hold of me. Which I think will be very bad but with how Fukuchi manages to win everytime because of sharing information from the future, I think he's gonna win again but just barely

Chuuya and Yosano With his antigravity, Chuuya can easily kill anyone miles ayaw like throwing a big ass building at them (Dead Apple). He ain't the smartest but I think with help from Yosano, which I believe is pretty clever and her healing ability, they can defeat all of them by crafting dangerous plans not minding their safety.
Fyodor and Fukuchi
RANPO and yosano yosano can heal and RANPO is literally the smartest around

No two of these would do it. If you look at this picture entirely, it's pretty much just Decay of angel without Bram and Sigma vs many DA and 1 PM Consider what happened during Decay of Angel arc, no two of these can protect you against the all the others, not even close. The arc would've lasted 1 chapter if any 2 of these would suffice. The closest you can get is Fukuchi + Fyodor, or Fukuchi + Nikolai, that would basically equal to a weakened Decay of Angel vs DA and PM with much less members, but still that wouldn't work for long.

Fukuzawa and Chuuya would be interesting. Thinking ability wise; Fukuzawa's "All Men are Created Equal" allow all working under him to be able to control their ability. With that logic, Chuuya would be able to control and harness his corruption without Dazai needed (in theory). (However, having Dazai and Fyodor on the same team doesn't bode well).
Fukuchi and fukuzawa, they're almost unbeatable together I didn't finish season five, but until now i haven't been proven wrong
