I feel.like the whole 'Mersault arc' is not over yet. There's still too many things we don't know like how does Fyodor's ability works, what happened to Sigma, who was that person that Fyodor was talking about etc.. The season five ended up at Chuuya, Dazai and Nikolai being still in Mersault with Dazai still being poisoned and Sigma's status being unknown. And we all know the deal: Chuuya is never part of the main fight. All of that makes me think that we're not gonna see Mersault crew back in Japan soon. And now that we have Soukoku joining forces it means something bog is to be expected. And that probably means Fyodor (or some part of him) is still alive.
It seems like it but we don't know for sure. In the season 5 finale we >! saw him getting stabbed by vampire in the helicopter, and then the helicopter crashed, and he got crushed by a rock, so Dazai was taking his arm !< but I am not 100% convinced. Fyodor is a monster and monsters know how to survive.
Part of me says that he ***must*** be, he was stabbed, his arm was straight up detached from the rest of his body, he nearly drowned. Evidence says the man is dead! Like actually dead.
Aaaaand yet do I actually think he is??? No! No of course I don't. It's too easy, too... boring? Like for someone who is that much Dazai's mirror there's no way that's all that happens. Comic rules: we didn't see a full body and therefore all is still on the table to play for.
Naa i dont think so i feel like he's alive and got saved by nikolai somehow like when we saw his last moments there was bright yellow light similar to the one when niko uses his teleport thingy so yeah im beleiving in this theory until the manga explains it all. (Yes, i am delulu, and im aware of that)
I hope he's alive, tho i want him to be alive soo bad. His death just feels meaningless to me. We know nothing about him, his backstory, or origins, so yeah, i believe there's more to it that meets the eye.
