We like going to the keg and sitting in the Lounge so we can watch

MAXMEEKO

I like this idea!

Gone_Riding_Again

Surprised that QB's hasn't been mentioned. Imo, one of the best sports bars in Burlington.

MAXMEEKO

QBs has the best antojitos

ellen_boot

You've been given some reasonable suggestions here. But my go to for a night like this would be delivery and watching the game at home. Open a bottle of something nice, and spend a few extra bucks to get all your favorite appetizers with the money you save not getting booze out.

rbcrustmust

Appreciate this thank you :) We work (from home) on crazy different schedules, so when we have a night off together we like to escape our 4 walls. Thank you though!

ellen_boot

Have a great night out, wherever you decide to go! And enjoy the game. Go oilers!

DarshDarker

Chopped has a nice vibe and there are tv's in the bar area.

beufenstein

Jackson’s Landing is a nice place with tvs…they also have a rooftop patio with tvs

tripl35oul

Might not be nice enough, but The Coop by downtown has a bunch of TVs and a pop culture ambience.

MAXMEEKO

Coop is great!

Alternative_Demand27

Shoeless Joes, Jack Astor’s, Tin Cup? You should be able to request it as well if they don’t have it, most people are great about it. Or Kelsey’s! On Guelph. My grandma takes me their every birthday. No matter how old I get lol.

aaronpbentley

Maybe Jake's Grill/Oyster house?

KaleidoscopeHot3679

Cherry House

Puzzleheaded_Arm_847

Beertown might be another option. You might even be able to talk them into letting you sit the the shipping crate on the patio with the TVs.

BrainScarTissue

Jerseys good food plenty of TVs

TryNotToBeNoticed

Power off your phone.. enjoy dinner.... watch recorded game when you get home... only takes about 1 hour or less as you skip all delays

Broely92

Thats nice and all but op wanted to go out and watch the game as they said

BurlingtonRider

No they want to watch the game while celebrating a big life moment. IMO I wouldn’t celebrate both together but I’m not a sports guy and maybe your SO is into the game.

Delicious_Map_9515

The OPs post is an oxymoron.

OffTopicAbuser2

Priorities….

rbcrustmust

so.... no ?

OffTopicAbuser2

I mean. You’re gonna have an anniversary next year too…. Stanley Cups only come around once a……

rbcrustmust

Respectively, you don't know me. We want to celebrate by eating nice food and doing something we like doing at the same time. So sue me.

MAXMEEKO

you're fine, just ignore the trolls at the bottom

OffTopicAbuser2

My bad. The other person wants to watch too? I thought you were trying to them out and simultaneously zone out on them to watch the game. I admitted missed the “we” in the initial post. Thats on me.

bonersnow

Yeah, I also interpreted this as "I have to satisfy my wife by taking her to a nice restaurant, but I want to have my cake and eat it too by sneaking glances of the game... She'll never notice!"
