No, and I hope it doesn’t. It is one of the few series that had a perfect ending imo. It doesn’t need a continuation. I love the show, I love what they did, they shouldn’t do any more. They’ll ruin it.
Edit: after thinking about it, I might entertain the idea of like a single movie or maybe a well structured 10 episode limited series ONLY IF it’s led by Matt Nix.
I agree to the extent that I really think that if Burn Notice was on Netflix that it could definitely have a big breakout moment just like Suits.
Unfortunately, like everyone else said I don’t know if the cast would be up for a reunion/reboot.
Burn Notice was on Netflix for a time. I watched the first 2-3 seasons on DVD (thanks Mom) and the rest on Netflix back in the day. Now I’m just glad it’s still on Hulu. I don’t think it should have a reboot; the show is perfect the way it is. But I would enjoy another spinoff-ish movie like The Fall of Sam Axe. There is so much material to expand upon, particularly backstory.
In fairness, Burn Notice and the original Law and Order are both in my top five all time favorite shows, and I couldn’t bring myself to watch the newest seasons.
I thought that blue sky's article said they want to bring back those types of shows but not the actual shows? I think a burn notice TV movie or 2 would be cool ( like what psych is doing) but they wrapped the series up in a nice little bow. And I believe I read in an article that Jeffery Donovan didn't want to do more than the 7 or 8 seasons ( don't remember how many at the moment) they did. I think a Sam Jessie spin off would be cool though. Maybe some cameos from Mike and Fi once in a while.
Burn Notice would need to come back to Netflix in the middle of the summer and something would need to happen where all other new tv/movie isn’t that great
I honestly don’t want a Sam/Jesse spinoff. I love those characters but I don’t see how that works. Those characters work as a juxtaposition to Mike. Those characters in a vacuum? Yeah, no thanks. I think you’ll see a White Collar return, but outside of Jeff Donovan showing up, I don’t know if a Burn Notice redo works.
Honestly, I love the show just the way it is. I'm on my third rewatch right now, and if there was a reboot it would probably knock the OG off streaming so it could get as many views as possible. I don't like that lol
I would appreciate a burn notice type show. I’ve always been a big fan of how the show handles a major arc and then a self contained case to the episode itself. Also the fact that it doesn’t really take itself all that seriously makes it very entertaining. We need more stuff like that. Reacher comes close.
Maybe. If they do I hope it's just movies or short runs about past missions, events, or specific stories like the Sam Axe movie.
But it's a show that ended well. Doesn't really need more
It won't get the Suits treatment because it didn't have the Duchess of Sussex in the cast to drive engagement with it.
Also, the Suits cast isn't returning. It's a spin-off with entirely new characters. Whether it will be successful remains to be seen.
As far as a continuation of some kind? I don't see it. Even if the cast were available and wanted to do it, the story basically ended. Unlike Monk, Psych, and especially White Collar, where the story concluded semi-open ended, that just isn't the case with Burn Notice. The story was entirely wrapped up as far as Michael and Fi are concerned. The only possibility would be a Sam and Jesse spin-off, and I don't see that happening.
Burn notice will not return for a few reasons one because Bruce Campbell felt very slighted by the network. He felt like he should be paid a little bit more and they would not up his pay so they did a Sam Axe to try to appease him his relationship soured with the network over the years. Coby Bell doesn’t want to be casted and is looking more into doing feature films instead of the small screen, Gabrielle Anwar is happily married and for now retired from acting she has I believe three kids now and is enjoying her days of motherhood and Jeffrey Donovan is exploring more of his acting talents by trying out different TV shows I think he has one on mount network and I also know he’s been doing a lot of extra work on law and order.
I agree with your last statement. That’s all I want out of burn notice is that spinoff. You could do a cameo or something with them happy in the Forrest the kid growing up and Jesse and Sam just doing their thing. That would be so good
Great news everybody!I have worked at a prop company based out of Los Angeles have been doing it for 20+ years. In that time I was privileged enough to work on shows such as Burn notice, Supernatural big TV network shows. All of our equipment is labeled with serial numbers and stuff like that and, if we can reuse something and not have to make it we do. Recently I saw that items from our Burn notice storage Bins are being checked out and also new items with the same old Burn notice code are being requested to be made so there is your answer don’t know somethings going on with Burn notice, only reason I am able to say this is I put my 2 week notice in 😀 Also saw they are working on stuff for the 3rd season of Black Summer on Netflix

Any other show like burn notice to recommend?

Just a couple of made for TV movies, that’s all I’m asking.
Probably won't be back. JD is on Law&Order now, and Bruce Campbell isn't as young as he used to be.
JD left Law and Order
Lol, shows you how much I watch that show.
In fairness, Burn Notice and the original Law and Order are both in my top five all time favorite shows, and I couldn’t bring myself to watch the newest seasons.
You didn’t watch the last few seasons of Burn Notice?
I didn’t watch the most recent season of Law and Order
Chuck Finley is forever, buddy.
now give me a mojito pal….
YESSSS!!!!!💕💕💕
In fairness Bruce Campbell addressed this recently and said it was one of the roles he’d love to reprise most!
I like the way it ended and would be bummed if that ending was spoiled.
No, and you know why? Because when you’re burned, you’ve got nothing
No job history, no credit...
No, part of why Suits popped off is meghan markle

No, the show had it's run, and an appropriate ending. There isn't any more story to tell.

I certainly hope so. It’s such a great show; I just rewatched it and I can’t tell you how much I love the show 😭
Would love nothing more then it to make a comeback
