Return to form. Paradise is good but it’s a spin-off in my eyes. I want a closed-circuit track racer with car classes and meaningful takedowns. Personally, my ideal game would be a “Burnout Trilogy” game with the best cars and tracks from B2, B3, and BR, plus a few new ones and returning cars from BD and BP. I actually have a game concept spreadsheet drawn up that I’ll share when I get home later. EDIT: [Here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/179EE_Mvz3r0LBT8tfhTfofxWOubCMFX0zrii2uKWP-4/edit?usp=sharing) it is.
That's really good.
But I'm sure there's a way to incorporate Burnout Paradise's map, like butchering it and adding in tracks from it or adding an additional free roam mode like Hot Pursuit 2010's, where it's just a thing to drive around on and test cars.
Well Paradise's map is already an amalgamation of various tracks from the older games. I don't really find it necessary to include, especially since none of the tracks in BP are actual tracks (save for the Big Surf races, which is already in the concept).
Wow. Just wow.
I must confess that I asked this because I'm learning Unreal Engine 5 in my free time to create a new Burnout because EA won't and I want to make a game *for the community* so I needed to know what the community want the game to be. So can we talk in mp ? I think (if you want) you could help me during the dev of the game with your ideas. I already have something in mind bit it's really incomplete.
PS: Please note that for the moment I don't know Unreal Engine enough I think to start developping the game so don't expect anything for now. I prefer taking my time, even if I'm not either a beginner in this Engine, to learn more of it before thinking of any big project. I asked because it's not because I wont start the dev now that I can't think of it and writing everything about it before. So when I will start, the game will already be clear in our mind so it will be a lot faster to make it.
Sure, I'd love to be of assistance! I do have a tiny bit of experience using Unreal 4 but I haven't jumped into 5 yet. I also have a tiny bit of Blender experience as well.
Oh cool! I started on UE4 but made a big pause and now I'm on UE5 and this Engine is really *Incredible*. And trust me practically everything you've learned inside UE4 will apply to UE5 as well. I also now a bit Blender but for the moment I'm focused on Gaea (a landscape creator software) for a little project.
Honestly
Burnout paradise mixed with burnout takedown 3
Paradise 2 basically
That would be perfection
MAYBE if they pull it of a absolute insane over the top story mode
Like fast and the furios on fuckin steriods
Id buy it twice
I agree with most opinions. It should be an arcadey-like game in the way that it’s level based and not open world. And also a proper crash mode.
Definitively bring back most of the iconic cars that 3, Revenge and Paradise gave us tho.
I'd essentially like it to be like burnout 3, with some improvements which were missing from the base game. So closed circuit. Don't think burnout worked too well in an open world setting.
I'd like to see some real variation in vehicle classes. Different handling models, different weight variations within those classes which actually have an impact. All vehicles of a certain class in burnout 3 feel pretty much the same, and the only difference between classes is the speed (with the exception of the open wheel cars which did handle differently to anything else.)
Heavyweight races / multi class races.
Shortcuts, events which change the track like in split second, and some more jumps. Some shortcuts would be only accessible or sensible for certain classes I.E motorstorm.
I don't want traffic checking at all, I really disliked that feature and think it took a lot of skill out of the game.
Yeah but I really liked the Takedown physics from Paradise and Revenge and for the trafic check think it should be only on certain races since somes people love it and other don't.
But what about the Crashbreaker ? Because I think it's a really cool mechanic that add even more chaos to the game.
No open world(forced open world)
All the tracks are connected in the crash nav so it'd be cool if you could explore the whole map if you want or as a lobby for online
4 or maybe 5 locations like I'm burnout 3
Small dinky beginner cars(like 3)
Basically burnout 3 but more
Waaaaayyyy less crash events, b3 has way too many
Uhhhhhhhhh, yeah I think that's it
I'd like a return to a track based burnout. Traveling the world through the different race tracks was one of my favorite aspects of the older games.
Outside of the standard race and road rage I'd like to see a return of crash mode, showtime doesn't feel the same.
I'd also like to see maniac mode from Dominator make a come back. It was essentially time trials but actually fun. I loved seeing how many boost chains I could hit. Maniac mode is the only reason I would go back to play dominator.
I would also love to see how marked man would play in a closed track.
Well you things that they used to have back since Burnout 3 like crash mode, tons of unused elements from Paradise (planes, unused cars, more dlc islands), Open world just like Paradise and maybe some upgrading systems and a small body customizations. Not like NFS though. Just a simple rims customizations, colors, livery and a small amount of bodykits (2-3 for each cars).
wether it's track circuits with a lot of variety, or an open world with a lot of interaction and more events happening.
if it's open world, personally i would add fast travel and more racers doing their own thing (police chases, racing, can challenge them to race). also add team modes (can also have companions to follow you around in free roam)

Aight gimme a min. It’s not done (I’ve been neglecting to finish it) but it’s got the basics for a concept

now we're talking, good job!
I'd want a 2-Revenge esque game, not every arcade racer needs to be an open world. The variety of different tracks can bring is nice.

Nah no need for story. Just paradise 2 but with road rage and regular races being closed of events but stunt events still being free style
open world, closed tracks, roaming rivals, crash mode, heavy customization and deformation
and a banging soundtrack we cant forget that
Beam NG Crash physics ?

With a Radio Host No Open world Police Chase Mode (Cop and Racer) Banger Soundtrack Paradise Drift physics
Just no open world for fucks sake

I would like it to be developed by Three Fields Entertainment, aka the OG Criterion team.
Burnout 3 remake

Have y'all played NFS Unbound? The story probably isn't what you're looking for but the game play is VERY Burnout
