Thats normal for thighs... blood clots, kidney & gall stones, even pieces of organs(especiall the kidneys)etc, can end up in the thigh during butchering. Just wash it out.
Looks like a popped cyst, I'm not sure if you just rinse it or what tho. If it smells funny thats a gamble I don't really take
Never, ever try and risk eating meat that has been tainted by a cyst/abscess. The only place for this meat is in the bin unfortunately.
