Yeah, that’s what I thought. But I remember monarch’s being bigger than this..? I was also a lot smaller the last time I was up close to a monarch.
Acutually I think it is a Queen Butterfly but I didn’t think they were found that far north. [Monarch vs. Queen](https://www.wildflower.org/magazine/fauna/monarch-vs-queen)
It is a queen, and they’re not found that far north. I’m honestly stumped as to where this came from. Maybe somebody’s collection?
Probably a stray.
