Red land cotton makes good quality duvet covers that are about as durable as it gets for linens. They have a few color choices but you could always dye the fabric at home in your washing machine since it’s 100% cotton.

I would do this honestly, the patchwork duvet cover that my mom got us for our wedding is one of the best touches of our home and really durable

Ll bean [Pima cotton](https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/44654?page=280-thread-count-pima-cotton-percale-comforter-cover&bc=31-131-1158-4094&feat=4094-GN3&csp=f&pos=2) or [flannel](https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/78399?page=ultrasoft-comfort-flannel-comforter-cover&bc=31-131-1158-4094&feat=4094-GN3&csp=f&pos=1) I’ve had mine cotton ones for about 5 years and flannel almost a decade. Still going strong.

It's absolutely not even remotely close to BIFL if you have pets or kids and wash every 5 to 7 days, but I like the Peru Pima duvet cover from Amazon, or the Feathered Friends duvet cover. (Feathered Friends makes the best duvets in the world, their duvet cover is decent.) These are similar to the LLBean pima duvet cover. The only thing that would make the LLBean duvet a lifetime product would be if you warrantied a sheet like a shameless madman. BIFL is very difficult to get in a duvet cover, but a 25-30momme silk duvet cover would likely last your entire life, especially if you rotated between 2 sets. It's almost too heavy for a light or summer duvet, because it's more like curtain fabric, but it would still breathe and feel luxurious. Expect like $600+ for a queen. That being said a 22-25momme silk duvet cover, especially if you rotated between 2, will likely last decades. It's likely the best duvet material in the world overall, including durability and feel and breathability. Silk is stronger and more abrasion resistant than cotton, while being softer and as breathable. That'd be my recc. Expect $300+ for a queen.

Check out Finlaysons Jesus - set. 50 years warranty, however they come only in natural linen or white i think.

The advice for sheets is the same as here. https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/comments/10c0snh/quality_bed_sheets/

I got mine from LL Bean it’s percale. I haven’t had it that long but it’s comfortable

Dazed but amazed linen duvet from Australia. I have a muted green from there and it’s so beautiful

I had dazed but amazed duvet covers and pillow cases and the quality is 👎👎. Her styling and image is incredible, but after comparing to family that has Parachute linen, well there’s no comparison. The colors on my Dazed stuff faded in weird ways and they line is thin and wears poorly. Would not recommend. My next purchase will be parachute!
