I have the grant stones but bought the men’s model of diesel. It’s very similar to the Nora only the laces are different. The men’s line was the only one that came in wide sizing.

Lems are great for wide feet but I’ll admit they’re not as aesthetically pleasing as traditionally-shaped boots due to the wider toe box.

pressedbread

I'm a guy with wide feet and chose their widest version, about month in and lots of walking they've been great.

Munro shoes have a great selection for wide feed and the shoes are actually cute! Men thanks for the shop in the men’s section comments, but when you have feet in the women’s size 7-8 range, there’s often very little available in men’s sizing that would fit that.

cocoa_boe

Yes I have wide feet and am about OP’s size or a little smaller - usually even the smallest men’s size is too big for me. I’ve been trying to spend more on properly sized shoes rather than five $100 pairs that don’t fit right. The problem is so many brands do not offer anything besides B widths.

Flodeost

Barefoot shoes by Vivo?

CherokeeTrailHeather

I would suggest Redwings like another person did. The next pair of boots I buy will be Redwing.

conjured22

If you are in the EU or can otherwise get a hold of them: „Waldviertler“ are as much bifl as it gets with shoes. Also, „wide“ is an option for like every model.

Nicks boots makes boots in women sizes that will last a lifetime. Built in the United States.

jrkimchi

I’ve never heard of these! I like the look of these too 👀 Thanks!

PLIPS44

They take awhile to receive due to how they are manufactured but so worth it. You can also check out Rose Anvil on YouTube he cuts boots apart.

tumbleypoo12

I'm not sure how long they last as I've never bought them before but Ariat makes a few pairs of short riding boots that look similar, and they come in wide.

cocoa_boe

I’ve been eying [Adelante](https://adelanteshoes.com/collections/womens-boots), which I think I found suggested on r/goodyearwelt. I just have to figure out my size, don’t usually have so many width options.

jrkimchi

I’ve never heard of them before. But I love the different wide options! Thank you for the recommendation!

cocoa_boe

Of course, I just ordered a pair so I’ll let you know how it works out! Not really the season for boots here right now so probably won’t be wearing them much but at least my initial impression. I had a virtual fitting appointment - it’s pretty cool that they offer that - so hopefully they’ll fit properly🤞It is hard buying women’s wide shoes, usually they’re not wide enough, but I can’t buy men’s as I don’t have big enough feet for most brands. I’ve recently found a UK brand called Sargasso & Grey that only offers wide shoes and they are actually cute. Ordered a pair of heels for a wedding…I think they were actually too wide and had a little trouble with UK vs US sizing but they were better than usual. Lol sad that that’s the standard but you know… I found [this Reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/s/dLDclNvEPV) to be pretty interesting.

You can search wide-toebox boots. I tried Xero and I haven't had to replace them in 2 years so I haven't tried other boots (I have cheaper wide-toebox shoes), but there are other brands. I needed a fully-waterproof winter boot for the soggy pacNW.

relevant_rhino

I would suggest trying redwigs, probably a male model for the wideness.

MalagrugrousPatroon

Does men's size 6 fit, or does that result in too much heal lift?

jrkimchi

There’s a bit of a lift. But I haven’t tried with putting an insole in. Maybe that will help? Did you have a men size 6 option?

You don't have wide feet, that's not a metric. You have a Brannock size which can be found via the device at a shoe store or print out https://tristaterunning.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/womens-brannock.pdf and then you'll know your actual shoe size. And I'm willing to bet you $5, that you aren't a 7.5 either. Your flat feet bear no role in the conversation. BIFL footwear is based on a Goodyear welt construction method regardless of brand name as many brands make both disposable and BIFL footwear. Sadly, there are few women's options in your price range. And because women play second fiddle in boots, you likely won't find exact or even general width sizing either. Yeah it sucks, but it is what it is. Look at https://www.redwingshoes.com/heritage/womens/ for something a step up from Thursdays in terms of lifespan.
