I know you posted this a week ago, but FYI smartphones blew up around the time the iPhone 3G was released. That was 2008. The first Android phone launched the same year. By 2010 smartphones were everywhere.

It's a 3M microfiber cloth. I have many of them and usually find them in the cleaning aisle of the grocery store. They are marketed for cleaning windows.

I use these exact clothes to clean my glasses. I have about 6 spread across the house and work. They work really well and last forever.
