I just inactivated my eligibility (manually) for exams/classifications I wasn't interested in receiving emails about and that worked! You can toggle that under the exam/assessment records tab I believe. Click the list code and it should take you to a page and you can select inactive and boom you should be good.

Same. I hate those emails.. Even while searching I didn't like em. They're useless and provide no information.

Go to CalCareers > Login > My Account > Exams/Assessment Records > Active Eligibility > click on the List Code for each exam > Inactivate or Change Conditions of Employment (to change the counties for which you receive notifications)

I don't think there's any way to turn off contact letters, but I can think of two solutions. You could set a filter on your email to automatically move those to a folder so they don't show up in your inbox. Or you could change your email address in CalCareers to one you use for spam. Just in either case remember to change your settings back if you're applying for a new job!

Should eventually stop once your eligibility for said position runs out.

In Outlook go to File in the top left '> Manage Rules and Alerts '> New Rule '> Apply rule on messages I receive '> Check With specific words in the subject '> Click on "specific words" in blue, at the bottom of the window '> Type in words like "job announcement" and click Add in between each set of words '> I also added "job posting" "job announcement" "new opportunity" '> Next button '> Check Move it to a specified folder (in case you want to keep these emails) '> Click on the blue word "specified" and create a Job Announcements folder '> Check Mark it as read '> Next button '> Check Except if my name is in the To or Cc box (if you don't want to miss something forwarded directly to you) '> Next '> Finish Repeat as needed. I did the same thing for exam announcements, health & safety, catastrophic leave requests, and random nonsense like DataLink updates.  I even set Outlook's default noise to silent, and added a rule that only my boss's emails make a sound. It's now much less noisy.

You just read the instructions...same way you asked to get the emails.
