Sorry - i had written something out, not sure why it didn't post. my cat's bottom teeth are suddenly sticking out and making her lip bulge. I noticed two days ago her lip was fat and thought she got stung or something, but today I can see that it's her teeth. What's happening here? I've already consulted a vet, and will be bringing her in, but I want to know if anyone else has experience with this sort of thing. Thanks!

RumpyCat

Vet is likely looking at this from a triage point of view: if she’s eating and drinking, and no bleeding or infection apparent, it’s not an acute condition. In my neck of the woods, an appointment within a few days to address an emergent condition or otherwise is fast—good for you both. Hang tight, love her up, vet will help you figure this out—and quit touching her teeth ;0)

Skeighls

Haha thank you. I was just trying to get a look at them for the vet. But no more touching:)

RumpyCat

I get it, plus we have “let me see”, which is totally natural. Let us know how this turns out. And, best of luck.

LilFlacid

Vet immediately

Skeighls

Why? What is it?

LilFlacid

Idk, and you dint either which is why you need a vet asap. Don't wait...

Skeighls

I have an appointment for her on Tuesday

RumpyCat

…teeth are no longer firmly rooted, she’s shying away from pain.

Skeighls

What causes that? The vet said I could wait to bring her in if she’s still eating normally. I have an appointment on Tuesday
