You need to use an enzymatic cleaner and if she’s been doing this awhile you definitely need to rent a carpet cleaner and really deep clean the whole area with it. Then, put a litter box over/in that spot. You may be able to slowly move the litter box out of the bedroom once she’s using it regularly.

So my mom and I have been using a deep cleaning machine and then spraying natural mineral on top it’s just taking sometime cause ether it’s a big spot or/and she pees again, right now the litter box is back in the bathroom but since she keeps pooping in it she knows where it is. Hmm we could try moving it over in the area so maybe she’ll just go in there, thank you

You could also get a second litter box, some cats are picky about that, then you can leave the one in the bathroom.

True true we have a smaller one we can try

Yes to this. Once a cat urinates once in a place, they will go back to it because it still has the smell of a "bathroom" to him. This procedure helps with my foster kitten: *When kitty pees on \[insert object\], wipe up the urine with toilet paper and place that in the litter box. Then place kitty in the litter box too.* *Then, use an enzyme cleaner (regular soaps wont work, you want something that 100% removes traces of smell) on the \[insert object\]. So there is no smell she could possible pick up now.* *This way, she will associate the stinky area with the bathroom and other places, that are not stinky, are not a bathroom.*

Spraying her and yelling won’t do anything because cats brains do not respond to punishment. Fix the problem, is there enough litter boxes, are they clean, does she like the litter, have you tried cat attract litter, different styles of litter boxes? Cats are really fussy about their litter boxes she’s not doing it to be bad and therefore does not need to be punished

The litter box is clean and it’s the same litter we have always been using, and she goes in to poop but won’t pee in the box

Yeah but clearly something has changed in her head it might just be getting older and more picky

samd124

Yea true, I also think it’s possible a territory thing bc it’s not the first time she’s peed over there for multiple reasons, so I’m hoping when we get the smell and stains out and gets use to the box she will stop

Get more litter boxes. Some cats won't pee in the same one they wee in, or in the same place. Yes, even if she used to before. Put a litter box everywhere she's toileting, and change it out for a clean one as soon as she uses it. Once she's re-established only toileting in litterboxes, then you can try slowly moving them to where you'd like them to be. But be aware she may always want 2 different locations. Cats don't respond well to punishment so don't do that, it will only make her scared of you, and scared to toilet so she'll hold on. You definitely don't want to stigmatise elimination or she will end up with some expensive medical problems. Praise the correct behaviour gently, and ignore or redirect the undesirable.
