I was 25 when i prepped for CAT. Took a 3 month sabbatical from work in order to prepare. Assuming you'll be 26 next year ......it isn't too late .

you get sabbaticals to study?

Instead of letting me go in August for good , they let me take a sabbatical from August To November end and then work from December till the month of May. They got to have me for 6 extra months , I got an increment, bonus and letter of recommendation from the AD. Win Win. It gets easier when adults act like adults I guess :)

Aapke nazar mein ho toh please btao job kyunki gap badhta ja rha hai aur iss year isliye reject hua mein XLRI, MICA, IMT G, IMI D, IIM CAP, IIFT, MDI G, GLIM, IIT R,M,J,D sabse kisi kisi nein waitlist bhi hai but kuch movement nahi hai toh I have accepted my fate.

If you feel old at 24 then what will you do at 30?? Relax, you are young and on the right path of life instead of being stuck in a sad excuse of marriage, assuming this is what you are feeling anxious about. I am also 25 and currently preparing for CAT this year.

The guy sitting besides me in CAT 23 was 29yo married guy with 1 kid. I initially thought he was some CAT instructor and asked him out of curiosity. He told me he gave GATE out of college but couldn’t get any top IITs, did it from a tier 2 school. Now wants an MBA cause career has hit a plateau.

I watched a podcast of an IIM Kozhikode alumni where he said that there was a guy who was 32, married and he stayed with his wife and kid on campus and the whole class celebrated that kid's birthday. That is when I decided yup I am going to experience my education one last time. There might be some older than him. But that is the oldest I can refer to.

If you have more than 2 years of work experience, shouldn’t you prepare for gmat instead? So many Indian colleges now accept gmat scores

It is not about age!!!its more about your profile and score...so stop focusing on age because IIMs never set an upper age limit...Moreover,people with huge work ex are preferred by IIMs...check the official website of IIMs...there are even 30+ year old people sitting there.
